“I’m not really that good with computers” Continues to obtain crucial information about an ilegal operation which he will then use to shut it down. Absolute warrior.
Finally found out how he gains access. That's so smart on your part, and so incredibly stupid for a scammer to download a file called banking_details.exe
Look, if Prakash gets 7500 indian rupees per month he must show great dedication to his job. He knows jack shit about computers, he just got a script from Arjun and a list of useful cmd lines for bluffing. Everything else boils down to how fast can he press ctrl+c and ctrl+v or drag and drop shit he finds on victim's computer.
He sees banking detailed files he presses on it and that gives him kind of a virus and that's how you get computer I amcomputer illiterate but I kind of understand how you could do that he's opening up kind of a virus 😷
But that file was run on the victim's PC, not the scammer's. He said, if the victim were to download it and run it on his own, he'd get the malware. It looked really easy to reverse Uno on teamviewer
I've done this a few times. I use a dual monitor, set the wallpaper to solid black color, hid my icons, and move the taskbar to the second monitor so they see a blank screen and no start button. When they board me, I tell them I see their curson but they are on my left monitor, I tell them they need to switch sides. I try to sound helpful and say I saw someone use teamviewer and they just have so switch sides. I even drag a window from my secondary monitor to the primary and back to show them "I'm on the other side" Then I tell them just have to hit Communicate and press the "switch sides" button in team viewer. This has worked every time. Once into their PC I go to command prompt and do format c: /q which leaves their pc working until they reboot. Ipconfig gets their router number and I set their router to only allow one pc to connect on their network. I also change their teamviewer password, (seems they all use the same account) I generally try to take down the whole operation. Am I doing anything illegal to them? Don't know. So maybe they could sue me. From India or pakistan... Yea Right! !!! THEY CALLED ME !!!

You should really only do this through Virtual Machine, not just on the off chance they're dumb enough not to realize what's going on. Sure, most of them are probably PC illiterate, but from time to time there's actually someone that knows his shit and can fuck your PC before you even notice.

How did I live 54 years and not know about this online community? Bravo! I’ve found a few of you ‘scam the scammer’ guys. I think you’re all brilliant and wonderful and hilarious! One of these scam guys tried to get my father-in-law by saying my son was in jail. I wish I had your skills. Very impressive. I look forward to watching many more of these very entertaining videos.
lRaziel1, There are a lot of phone scams in Mexico. Americans in jail call other Americans, pretending to be cousins or nephews traveling; then later, they call claiming an emergency, needing money. I was in Sonora, and got a call from a jail in DIF. Another scam is claiming they have one of your relatives in jail. My ex was in tears, trying to call his son, who was not in jail in Mexico. The ex was at the bank, ready to get the money when he finally found out that his son was safe in the states.

Diagnoser 00 When the internet arrived our parents warned us about the dangers of the internet. Then they got into it themselves and fell for every single one of them
pride and a low respect for those you are scamming is their weakness - they think we are just spoiled wealthy dumb people with money we carelessly loose and don't value, and the think because they used a remote sharing desktop that they are suddenly supper hackar... in reality no they are not sniffing ports or doing crazy shit, just doing what they were taught and told just as at any desk job - they are doing a job, a petty one that implies you're pretty rotten inside to take it - but a job none the less - and they know what it entails, and that pride after so many calls every day can really blind them to the fact that competent people exist who know more than basic computer networking knowledge.
@@fenrisulvenfang there's a pattern when two scammers meet. They hit a stalemate, both are trying to shift the other one into a position that they can take advantage of and that normally leads to some stalemates where nothing happens. If you hit that point it's one of two cases, that person is a scammer trying to scam you or you are already counter scammed and they are just stalling time. The most hilarious cases are kids on fortnite posting videos scamming a scammer where they both basically constantly fail to go through with an item trade and everytime it looks like they will go through with it they pull out because things are not in their favor and they give the dumbest excuses when it's clear they are trying to navigate their way around a fair and straight forward deal.
Because technically, they are not the scammer. They are just hired to make calls and read a script. Most of them are stupid. And just like anything else in a script in India (like tech support) they can't think outside of the box and have no knowledge of anything outside of what they are told or scripted. The real scammer is the person who put the whole operation together.

VICIDial (pronounced "Vee-chee", as in "Veni Vidi Vici") is an open-source predictive dialer based on the open-source Asterisk software. Many legitimate organizations use them, but unfortunately so do many illegitimate ones. Having met the developers in their office in Florida for training, I can say they are fantastic dudes, and very knowledgeable. The text file at the end looks like a straight dump from their leads database table... it even has the same headers. VICIDial automatically records the last call disposition of the lead, so that's why you're seeing answering machine, etc. results. Whoever you got that from looks like he's at least managerial enough within the organization to have admin access to their database for lead export. If you find something like this in the future, note that the default admin creds on the ViciDial web interface are 6666 / 1234. Good work! Keep at it!
@@davidmikan7925 I'm not surprised, but I've met the developers of Vicidial in person. That's what they named their product, straight from their lips to my ears. You're welcome to take it up with them.
@@LarryDaGamerGuy Talking about a language that has been used for millennia, it depends on _which_ latin. Ancient latin: probably wikee. Classical latin: wikyee. Ecclesiastical latin: vichee. Central European medieval latin: vitsee. Western: visee (mostly). Etc..
Jim does good job, yes. Skills needed to do stuff like shown in this video are pretty basic. This is not "being able to hack FBI database skillset" displayed here. I do think that Jim 's skills are way more advanced then shown in this short video though.
Yes, not that complicated. Just getting into their computer and blacking and disabling user input seems to be simple in TeamViewer, perhaps it could be done with keybindings even, lol. He could even have uploaded a keylogger to get all the information.
Of course they could prosecute them if they could trace them where they are and who they are. Interpol exists for such things, they will issue an arrest warrant through Interpol, arrest the parties involved and apply for extradition to the country which has issued the warrant.
Piss Troopa there are rules around that and extradition is not that straightforward. Generally it needs to be a crime in both countries. It is why some computer viruses will check the physical location of a computer before infecting it. Ukraine I think it is couldn't care less what its citizens do to peoples computers in other countries. Do it to a computer in that country and they come down on you big time. Hence many viruses and other malware start from there.
Believe me, if this became an international issue and the country being wronged put pressure on the country that has relaxed laws (in this case India) shit would most likely get done. Say for example; Australia complains to India about the mass number of Australians being scammed by Indians and India doesn't seem interested or lets them get away, then Australia can say okay, we are not allowing anymore Indian students to study in Australia until you go and prosecute these individuals that we have traced and believe are responsible for the huge number in scams. If it hurts them on the world stage and makes them look bad, then they are likely to act. I also understand about extradition treaties and that both countries have to be signatories to it, but most countries are and would cooperate with other governments to bring crooks to justice.
One of the first things I learned in self defense is that when someone hostile is approaching you, they don't know who they're messing with. It could be a good target, could be someone who will f' them up. You are the latter for these embarrassing excuses for people. Keep them on their toes, and thanks!

“I’m not really that good with computers”
Continues to obtain crucial information about an ilegal operation which he will then use to shut it down. Absolute warrior.
Finally found out how he gains access. That's so smart on your part, and so incredibly stupid for a scammer to download a file called banking_details.exe
thats greed
You gotta record that and upload it :D

There are a lot of phone scams in Mexico.

A scammer's scammer is a scammer's worst nightmare.
pride and a low respect for those you are scamming is their weakness - they think we are just spoiled wealthy dumb people with money we carelessly loose and don't value, and the think because they used a remote sharing desktop that they are suddenly supper hackar... in reality no they are not sniffing ports or doing crazy shit, just doing what they were taught and told just as at any desk job - they are doing a job, a petty one that implies you're pretty rotten inside to take it - but a job none the less - and they know what it entails, and that pride after so many calls every day can really blind them to the fact that competent people exist who know more than basic computer networking knowledge.

Good work! Keep at it!

Jim, I am amazed at your skill. The police should use you to do this full time.
