- You are going to see behind the scenes of scamming group called QTech BPO of Kanpur in India. They go by the fake company name of "Home IT Master" and they exclusively target UK victims.
Not only to they take payments, every few months, they will pester their victims into paying them again and again.
You'll see examples of who they are, how they run their scam and how I managed to try to close them down since the police seem to do nothing about them.

I told her that I’m Indian too, I am, and I wouldn’t mind if she had an Indian name. She hung up eventually

Am sorry to say but i myself was working in this call center and i quit from first month after i figured out what was goin on .... Their objective is to get most details about someone who had a car accident but their scam is not taking money from you it's taking money that is rightfully yours to themselves ... People who have accidents are due to compensation legally but then this company just goes to the insurance company of the person at fault in the accident and then asks them for the compensation taking it to themselves instead of giving in to the customer or the person who had the actual car accident ..... I am still trying to figure out how to report them since i was working from the inside but it is that they aren't stealing from actual people so people don't report them that's pretty much how they're surviving

I was scammed out of £200 a couple of years ago, £200 I had saved for Christmas presents. It’s an awful feeling and I never want to go through that again. Hats off to you Sir for taking time to point this out to everyone and huge respect for the person that gave the poor guy his money back 🥰💕

Lost $3,000. Bank was no help despite FDIC, police didn't know enough to scratch their uh, heads. Rural cops. Paypal worked great and got back most of my money that had flowed through their system.
I changed banks, and received a much better deal.

When i used to get such popups, emails, messages i blindly ignored them, smiling at how could these stupid things fool a person. Never realized that real people do get trapped and are scammed of their hard earned money.

Some indian lady called me claiming to be a Beth Delaney in California she didnt even get 5 seconds in before i said "if you are asking for money youre not getting it" she hung up and tried to call back 5 more times each time with different aliases wtf
Download Trend Micro, it blocks and bounces back these scammers phone calls. It also comes with a VPN.

Damn if you weren’t such a good guy, you could literally just make a living piggy backing off of these scammers by just taking the credit card info of their victims from their folders they have on them. They would have no idea, and you would have zero connection to anyone involved making it so easy to get away with. I’m glad that someone with this kind of power is such a good person and only uses it to help these people out by either intercepting during the scam or getting them their money back. You are truly a wonderful person ❤️

This is very disheartening in so many ways. I too work at an Indian BPO (a legitimate one) and these scammers are dragging the reputation of BPOs through the mud over and over again.
Whenever I hear an Indian voice on any call I hang up, because I cannot trust what they are saying even if they are genuine. I will not risk talking to them what so ever. Someone said to me you cannot tar everyone with the same brush, I say YES I can! Until the Indian authorities clamp down and gaol these thieves, many honest Indian people will continue to loose jobs and employment because of them.

deeveear's got a video about it. it's pretty cringe because it doesn't go with their script and the scammer tries to force it. once he pulled up terminal the scammer got spooked for some reason. it was just a funny mess.

This just hurts imagining a scammer deleting all of my personal photos that I have taken over 10 years as a photographer.
Please buy an external harddrive and back up some and/or back up some to a free cloud drive. Better safe than sorry
I use Google Drive, and while I suppose nothing is ever truly secure or foolproof, even their free plan has a lot of space and it's easy to use from multiple devices. I finally broke and got the $2 a month plan a few months ago and that's a crapton of space.
Please have at least 2 back ups my friend
I prevent such situation by annually back-up my files on cloud storage. I use my campus' gmail service because the drive is unlimited
Back them up on a USB or an external hard drive

I see Jim Browing videos to get motivation for my work as I am a Website/App Designer and seeing these scammers using the computer kinda motivates me to work on the computer. I watch Jim's video to support him with views and likes. I watch Jim's video because I hate criminals and I love to see them being caught. I watch Jim's video to understand the pain of the victim and make myself more humble. Thank you Jim for all the efforts you put into helping innocent people and revealing the identity of the scammers. You didn't fail, we are failing because with all the information you are sharing with us we are not using it to put pressure on the responsible people to arrest the criminals and bring them to justice.

Seeing how many victims and that they’re in their 70s saddens me so much. I wish they were educated about it easier, especially if they don’t have family to help.
How true your words are, im mid 60 and was a victim told my family how help full they were and im now protected, got blasted by them (my family) and they sorted out my computer and showed me this site well im now a watcher , thank you Jim, thank you xx
Someone needs to come up with something to install on phones that picks up on a possible scam and automatically hang up on the scammer.
@@ebailey9443 well my samsung phone have a system install call smart call.It can detect who is calling( Work only for phone no. Thats related to a company) and it warns me of a potential scammer phone number

I wish I knew about these scams years ago. My grandfather was a computer man in the Army. Even in his 80s he had a FB page and was always on the computer. In his later years he was always on the phone with these people. I just asked my mom if he would pay for "tech support". She just started crying. I guess he spent a large amount of money on these scams.

To be honest, these scammers have to remember a lot of stuff while talking the whole time as well. It takes practice and training. They could do so much good in any other field, it's so sad.

@@M1XED17 you know I fell a victim once myself to this exact same scam.. the problem with mine was I was talking to a lovely sounding girl and fell for her innocent voice.. I gave her remote access but then when she "transferred" the call to her senior tekneeshun who was a guy, my dad asked him where he's calling from but he kept avoiding the question and tried to divert our attention by reading more script.. my dad was beside me and was suspicious the whole time.. after he kept asking the location they were calling from the scammer somehow gave up and disconnected the remote viewer as well as the call.. luckily for me our computer didn't get syskey'd otherwise my dad would have kicked my ass since i didn't listen to him from the get go when he told me not to give the female scammer access to our computer.. I dunno if they installed any spyware but we still had to factory reset after that.
