      That's the Winter Paradox, but misspoken. The argument is that three observers, West Australia, South Africa, and South America, looking due south at night see the exact same starfield, meaning that must be the center of the flat Earth. Until three observers in the northern hemisphere do the same. The most concise argument to destroy the flat earth coined by a lawyer in 2008 and popularized by said lawyer on Reds Rhetorics channel around 2013 I think it was.

      I might be a bit biased against advertisement spiel in general, but it's hard to take the debunk seriously when beforehand you seem to fall for the cinematics of a mobile game trailer, with arguably just as much BS as any flat earth argument... Fully appreciate your need for sponsorships but at the very least IMO I think you should tell RAID and other false advertisers to Foxtrot Oscar in future.

      Still not quite sure if I’ve appreciated all the subtle nuances of this demonstration but the main takeaways are:
      1) the assertion that stars rotate in different directions in some version of flat earth Eastern and Western hemispheres (night sky at the demarcation line must be interesting. Wonder why no-one’s ever noticed)
      2) a proof of concept model that shows that stars don’t, in fact, rotate in different directions in the aforementioned flat earth Eastern and Western hemispheres.

      I can explain Polaris and the South Celestial Pole. Easy. The Southern Cross circles the SCP, just like the Big Dipper circles Polaris (which is really close to the NCP). Stars circle both the NCP and the SCP in opposite directions. Both the NCP and the SCP are points. But South on flat earth isn't a point, it's a ring! But if you are going to believe that, well I can't answer your question and nor can anyone. But you can't "explain" the Southern Star Trails on a Pizza world but we can, easily on a soccer ball! You just refuse to look at it. Go to the SH and observe the Southern Star Trails, do a time lapse on your phone! Or go outside every few hours and observe the position of the Southern Cross overnight. It never rises or sets, it just goes around in circles and stays in the sky at all times. I see one half of the circle that the Southern Cross makes on Summer nights and the other half of the circle on winter nights. Disproved the pizza world with the Southern Star Trails, even without time lapse. 😅

    It's incredible how he doesn't see the massive problem here. This is the point we've all been trying to get accross to them for years. The southern stars rotate in the opposite direction around a central point.
    Your flat earth model has the stars going sideways for everyone in the south, and still going in a circle overhead for everyone on the equator, but that does not match reality and you can't get it to fit even with a warping CGI night sky! The sky would look like a DR Strange movie with multiple southern crosses going around the ice wall, stars splitting into two stars and twisting the sky like a cinnamon roll.

Not only are there not mirror constellations, but they are COMPLETELY different, perspective of the stars don't change as you move, you never cross any kind of plane to the 'other side' of the stars, and the map of all the stars still forms a sphere, and you can see a very large portion of the night sky if you include just after sunset to right before sunrise. • @jasonmirza6882
      @jasonmirza6882 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The equator is the line half way between the northern and southern limits of the sun's path between the tropics. This is, of course, also the case on a globe although it also divides the sphere in half. For Gleason, the equator is half way along the radius of the circle although many flat earthers (for example those for whom the earth could extend infinitely, would not subscribe to that notion. Perhaps half way across the known radius? But half way between the tropics it certainly is. I hope this helps.
