  • This is a video on how to do the original and best self-hypnosis technique developed allegedly by the wife of world-famous Hypnotist and Psychiatrist Dr.Milton Erikson, Betty Erikson. It is probably the first exercise most Hypnotherapists and NLP Practitioners get taught in regards to a Hypnotic Induction. It is very easy to do and to apply on yourself when you want to put yourself into a beautiful state of relaxation and actually a lot of Hypnotherapists use it as their go-to hypnotic Induction when working with clients in the Therapy room. Give it a try and notice what happens...a light, beautiful, hypnotic trance all created by you! Remember, this technique is completely safe and you will be able to come back to an awakened state anytime you wish. If you think you have gone too deep, you haven't, you have just fallen asleep! :)
    Any questions, just comment below and I will get back to you.

    But how do you embed suggestions after seeing 3 things and feeling 3 things ?

      Hi. Do you think this technique could be applied effectively to Lucid Dreaming / controlling night time dreams ?
      If so, is it best to use as is for embedding lucid dream suggestions ? Or does it need to be further modified etc ?

    • @theandymacarthur
      @theandymacarthur  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@larrymiller3849 Hi Larry, I don't have any personal experience of lucid dreaming however a lot of my colleagues in hypnosis apply self-hypnosis to enhance their lucid dreaming to good effect.I think it would be good for embedding lucid dream suggestions as dreams are how our unconscious communicates with us and we use hypnosis to communicate with the unconscious! I hope this makes sense? Andy

      Sorry for the late reply. Yes, you can use what you sensed in the previous rounds however I would encourage you to find new things as it will keep your concentration and imagination which will enhance the hypnosis

    So you are just deciding on your general aim before you start? You are not giving yourself any ongoing suggestions during the hypnosis. That’s interesting.

    • @theandymacarthur
      @theandymacarthur  11 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s right, it’s your intention of how you are wanting to be.. your unconscious mind will do the rest and it might surprise you in what you actually find.
      Setting your intention at the beginning is like putting the address or postcode into your Sat Nav, your car ( unconscious) will take you there.

    when using this do we need to pick different things when going from say 3 things seen to 2 things seen or can the 2 be 2 of the original 3 or doesnt it matter?

    • @theandymacarthur
      @theandymacarthur  12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It is best to keep picking different things as it keeps you focused and deeply concentrated which is crucial in creating a hypnotic trance.

    • @theandymacarthur
      @theandymacarthur  3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Hi there, Yes, this technique is fantastic for programming a new belief or getting a solution to a life matter. Ask your unconscious mind to support you as you do this and to give you an answer when you wake up. it will be very subtle but use your intuition and gut instinct and...trust yourself! Keep doing this technique and notice the difference in your day to day life.

    Thank You for your video! I enjoyed your demeanor and clear presentation. Not complicated or intimidating to learn. I Am excited to try for myself. I Am a fan of energy practices like yoga and qigong and more recently quantum theory and subliminal programming/reprogramming. I Am excited to experiment with this as well hoping for a stronger subconscious connection and easier programming acceptance from subconscious. Thanks Super Angel Friend❣👋🌊🌞🌈💎🌟😇🙏
