      @@my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt- I had two opportunities to try the technique last week. 1st was a panel discussion and second was a pitch.
      What a difference! For the panel discussion, I was completely out of my head and in a really open/connected state of mind. I’ve been asked if I’m interested in joining future sessions 😀
      Now, by the 2nd presentation I was really convinced so I was able to use it to pitch a new project idea. It went so smooth, I even received praise on a great performance (that never happens!)
      I could go on but you get the idea! Those anxious feelings or self doubts don’t get a chance to surface. All that wasted energy gets saved and used in a positive way.
      Thanks again!

    Jonathan, in the video, you said we may ask you questions. I attended a Seeing (Vision) Without Eyes (VEW, Extraocular or Blindfolded Vision) conference/workshop about 3 weeks ago. I believe that I was a very objective participant, being a biomedical engineer whose dissertation specialty had a lot to do with visual acuity and the process of physiological/retinal-mediated vision and measures of visual acuity. From my observation and experience at the workshop, I know that VWE is real. I also know that deep relaxation, the hypnagogic or Theta brain wave state can be very important components of one's performance in VEW, since a principal objective is to minimize left-brain analytical thinking and to maximize right-brain intuitive responses to physical objects/stimuli, shapes, colors, etc., while blindfolded. My question is, might there be a special modification of the "eye roll" technique that would help one rapidly attain the hypnagogic state for higher performance in VEW?

    You say we can do self-hypnosis before a speech or before meeting somebody. Does that mean the hypnosis works on the same day? (What about the people who say that you need a lot of repetition and many days before you get results?)

    • @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-
      @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      so you can use hypnosis before an event to get yourself 'in the zone' for that period of time. If you want to turn these thoughts into subconscious habits you need to do the hypnosis regularly for around 21 days. Does that help?

      But how can the hypnosis work so fast if it requires repetition? I have never gotten results from any self-hypnosis, in the short term(same day) or long term (at least three weeks). Why does it work for other people and not for me?.@@my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-

    • @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-
      @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi there. If you do a self hypnosis before an event it should give you a lift there and then. Lots of performers use this technique before going out there. It is like getting in the flow. And for getting fired up for a specific event is different to changing deep rooted beliefs. You canchange deep rooted beliefs by repetition. You have to be conistent and give your mind clear messages. It will start to believe.
      It is important with hypnosis to not 'try too hard'. It is something you have yo allow to come to you
      Think of it like going to bed at night. If we go to bed thinking "i must sleep, I need to sleep" what happens? We have to let sleep come to us and it's the same with hypnosis

      Yes you could use this for insomnia. Hypnosis is helpful for relaxing and if you do this last thing at night it should relax and help you fall asleep and stay asleep. If your insomnia is very deep rooted you may need professional help to get to the bottom of the insomnia and deal with underlying anxiety issues. With my clients they generally overcome insomnia in 1 session and deal with wider anxiety issues too

      Hi Francis. Great question! Lots of people have misconceptions about how it should feel to be hypnotised. It is about feeling relaxed and focused. @@my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt- Hi, so does that mean if your mind wanders back and forth between focusing on your "goal' and other random thoughts, that I'm not in hypnosis?

    • @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-
      @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      your mind should not be wandering much if you are in hypnosis. Its important to set yourself up for success by
      - find a time to do it (ideally last thing at night) where you can be relaxed and are not worrying about things that you have to do
      - get comfortable and switch off phones and all possible distractions
      Some people need longer to sufficiently relax. When I am working with clients I can judge this based on what I see and adjust the pace and the approaches I use
      Do not try and force it and even if you do get wandering thoughts what you are hearing will still be going, even if it is a lower level it is still working away. Its a but like if you have a radio on in the background. You may not be focused on the music but you are still absorbing it.

    • @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-
      @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hi. It can feel a little uncomfortable but should not hurt. I am not an optician but the only time I have come across people finding this really uncomfortable is they have styes (tiny white spots) under their eyelid. It should not hurt to do this.So if it does hurt then do stop and maybe check with your optician.
      Some people can do this easier than others, but like anything most people get better with practice
      The good news is that you dont have to do the eye roll to go into hypnosis. It is a technique to accelerate the process but you can simply do count downs and get into hypnosis too.

    • @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-
      @my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt-  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For people struggling with sleep one of the biggest issues is that they become anxious that they won’t sleep. And the harder we try to sleep the less they sleep. We have to allow sleep to come to us.

      Hi @mushka6202 for some people it may feel uncomfortable to do this at first as most of us are not used to using these muscles. It will get easier with practice. Just do it for a few seconds each time until it feels uncomfortable and then relax your eyes. Practice this a few times a day until it feels more comfortable.
      Alternatively, just close your eyes and don't worry about rolling them up. You can still enter into hypnosis this way. The key thing with hypnosis is to 'let it come to you' and not feel that you are 'trying too hard'. Just be as relaxed as possible

      @@claudrebille178The subconscious mind is constantly present. That is why it is the subconscious. To reprogram your subconscious mind the tense to use depends on the circumstances. For creating general beliefs it is always stronger in the present tense. But when we are planning a specific event you need to talk in future tense. ‘I am’ is very powerful but ‘I will’ is also strong when we visualise future events and saying ‘I am’ out of context will confuse the mind. And you also have to consider the situation of a person. Someone who has very low confidence issues may well not be able to accept suggestions that seem unattainable. It’s common to feel a little bit uncomfortable when you roll up your eyes as you will not be used to using these muscles. Just practice for a few seconds at a time, do it a few times a day and it should feel much easier. However if you do feel this bringing on a headache then of course stop straight away. @@xavierkreiss8394 most people will find themselves blinking or their eyes fluttering. It maybe that your eyes need to roll up more and that just takes practice. But if you can’t there are other techniques that may work better for you. These typically involving just closing your eyes and counting down until you feel yourself relaxing

    • @xavierkreiss8394
      @xavierkreiss8394 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@my-fit-mind-hypnosis-rtt- Thank you for your answer. My statement was probably too general, and I should have been more specific and said " it doesn't work for me".
      I can roll my eyes up about 50%. I don't blink but after a few seconds my eyelids flutter a bit, because I want to close my eyes. This is because maintaining this rolled position is uncomfortable. It beats me how anyone can relax while doing this.
      You also mention various techniques for relaxing, focusing on feet, arms etc. This seems very much like the usual induction techniques. Many years ago I was introduced to them.
      A friend of mine told me of a clinical research programme into hypnosis, conducted by specialists. I went and they started to say all sorts of things designed to make me relax.
      I find relaxing diffult, but I was comfortable listening to their voices, and at some point a hypnotist would say something like "you're in deep relaxation. Your arms are feeling heavy... you can't lift them" then I'd wave my arms around saying "sorry". Or they'd say "wave away that fly that's bothering you" and I'd say "sorry " again... After two one-hour sessions they told me I couldn't be hypnotized. They said not everyone could be.
      I was disappointed because I'd wanted to know what it felt like.
      Since then I've watched several hypnotists trying various techniques. None have worked.
      I've found that quite a few people (some sources say about 25%) are, like me, not suggestible.
      One problem is that (like many others) I find it very difficult, almost impossible in fact, to relax, to let go. I've been told that (so to speak). I had to make an effort to relax to work at it, and that's a kind of contradiction in terms.

      Hi Michael. It sounds like it’s neccesary to get to the root cause of why you have this fear of speaking and singing. It’s a common blockage that people have. It is possible to work just on being able to perform in church but I strongly recommend that you address the wider fear of being heard.

      Yes they do and it is the same thing. Both put you into a different brain state so that you are more receptive. The silva method is more about visualisation. Hypnosis is a combination of visualisation and aural suggestion, which can be adjusted accordingly for people who are more visual or more auditory
