I was looking for ways to mount the electronic after i removed the plastic housing from the chassis. You just showed me a clean and easy way of doing it.

After i watched your video of the blue one that you converted it put me on a quest to build the hg into a scaler. Very cool! I recently got the CC-02 Bronco but the plastic frame feels so weak. How’s the quality of the HG brand? Did you ever get those rear shocks mounted up? Thank you!🤘
The Hg has a metal frame and pretty much all metal. The quality isn't the best but so far I haven't had any issues and yes I have installed rear shocks. I'm in the process of moving so all my stuff is packed away but I will be making more videos after I get all settled
Thanks for the support! The tires are some cheap ebay knock off super swampers. I just looked to see if I could get you a link but it appears they are not made anymore. They are around 85-90mm 1.9 rim. I'm going to be switching this truck over to 1.55 soon for more of a scale look.
Helo sir, I was planing to make 313 wheelbase using Hp407, do you know what drive shaft i can use, for the rear axle...? Basicly a want to make a long wheelbase version of what you did here

I really like how this thing looks after all of those mods. I do miss the 3 speed but it still looks great.
I kind of miss the gears but not the headache associated with it

I like the 3 speed for doing burnouts but the gears are weak.
I have my Bruiser locked in 4-low all the time, too. Are you gonna put shocks on the rear?
Yes i am. I just ordered some rc4wd shock Mounts just haven't had time to redo the suspension

What I wanna know, will the hgp407 accept an rc4wd 87 xtracab hard body?
So from my research it will not, the hg p407 is 287mm the Xtra cab is 313mm so unless you extend the wheelbase then the wheel wells will not line up

I would say check RC4wd. Their long wheelbase trail finder 2 might work
