For the carpet I had good luck with the Traxxas 4tec rears on the front and traxxas funny car fronts on the rear as skinnies

So from my research it will not, the hg p407 is 287mm the Xtra cab is 313mm so unless you extend the wheelbase then the wheel wells will not line up

The Hg has a metal frame and pretty much all metal. The quality isn't the best but so far I haven't had any issues and yes I have installed rear shocks. I'm in the process of moving so all my stuff is packed away but I will be making more videos after I get all settled

@Alex Smith tamiya belted F1 tire. Takes a little bit of parts to make it work. You also have to mill out the back of the F1 wheels to clear the hub.. kind of hard to explain what I did to make it work. Maybe I'll make a video explaining it this weekend for all the Fwd guys that want to run rubber tires. I've run 2.89 @ 54 on rubber tires and I refuse to put foams on my car. Trying to push the limits of rubber tire

I ran the car a few times after the diff mod and no issues. Best pass on real tree was 2.89@56 rubber tire

@@Bassin07Si on 3s maybe a more powerful esc in my opinion for a motor over 4500/5000 kv. Anyway stay fast from Italy

@@ToyotaGuy1971 I don't post times but this car has gone 2.90's on a real timing system not a GNSS on the old setup. It's quite a bit faster now but I haven't had a chance to run it at full power on the track. I mostly use this car in our local bracket racing class so I keep it turned down for consistency.

The MST TCR has a ball diff that is adjustable.. I just cranked the screw down so it acts like a spool

Honestly I haven't broken the stock diff yet so I never swapped it yet. Still have a brand new Mst Aluminium one in a package waiting for the stock to fail

Thanks for the support! The tires are some cheap ebay knock off super swampers. I just looked to see if I could get you a link but it appears they are not made anymore. They are around 85-90mm 1.9 rim. I'm going to be switching this truck over to 1.55 soon for more of a scale look.

I was thinking about that but I still think they are too big outer diameter. Since the video I've switched to f1 belted slicks and they seem to work better

@@gravityracergt you will also need a 20mm hex extension to fit the deep F1 wheels. The wheels I gave links for are the only 12mm hex wheels for an F1 car. 550 size will not fit because of the can diameter. 540 fits fine you just have to make a slot where the motor bolts to the motor plate
