Nice video. I'm going to point out some minor misleading claims though:
1. There is no point on buying a WiFi 6 card if you don't have a WiFi 6 router.
2. The card will not improve your internet speed beyond what the internet provider gives you.
3. The cable is not for power, it is for Bluetooth connectivity and therefore not required if you just want WiFi.
4. The antenna base is completely optional, you can screw the antennas to the connectors in the back of the card.
I hope this information serves you well. One last note, the module is manufactured by Intel but still compatible with AMD chipsets.

Not sure what your implying with your NO.1 point but I don't have a Wi-Fi 6 Router but I purchased a Wi-Fi 6 card and had a Decent amount of improvement on Ping. I went from 40-50ms to singles and low tens now. Granted you won't get the full capability without both it is still a decent enough improvement for the price.
Truth Be Told then you had a crappy wifi card before and you would have seen the same improvement if you bought a good quality non wifi 6 card. Its about protocols, wifi 6 is ax protocol and can only communicate with routers if they too are ax (it would be like speaking the same language). The most probable cause for the improvement may have been that you have an ac router and had a N or below wifi card and with this new one you are using your router's full capabilities. Again, you would have gotten the same result with an ac card.
@@TomasLomba no i had a ac router and a ac wifi i use asus formula x motherboard with build in wifi card. but i can tell u it did make a different when i got wifi 6 cause i had regular ipad and also ipad pro that support wifi 6 and speed test dont compare i also have multiple computers in the house and they all give me low speeds. the router i had before was the ASUS RT-AC87U. but im not a expert so i dont really know much about it but i can tell u it made a big different all my devices are working faster with wifi 6. including my nest camera.
Al3x Rodriguez well I don't know what improved your connection but certainly it wasn't wifi 6. Trust me, Im an engineer, I know this stuff. Your card is communicating with your router through AC. See it this way, imagine you speak english really fast and german poorly. It doesn't matter how fast you can speak english, if you are traveling through germany you would speak slowly and poorly just because it is the only way of communicating with germans you have. In the end, speaking fast english wouldn't help with your german speaking speed.
I had an older Rosewill AC1300 from when I bought my PC, that was hitting around 200mbps and my internet is capped at 500.
I replaced that with this card and I'm hitting my internet speed cap.

The CD is for the drivers-just in case you cannot access your internet with your WIFI card for some sort of technical reason
the CD is just a backup-so never throw it away, you may need it one day if you cannot get online
Or you can just download the drivers onto a USB and transfer them to your pc

can you check the bluetooth version from device manager on that? I wonder if the version with (5.0) on the box does actually support (bluetooth 5.2), I'm buying one but need to make sure it supports 5.2 as I asked the shop and they said it says 5.0 on the box.

It does work with any router. But to take advantage of wifi 6 u will need a wifi 6 router and a wifi 6 adapter like this one.

My router is in the living room I live in a 2 bedroom apartment so not that far. Maybe 30 feet
I dont know what kind of wifi version I have but when I checked the wifi setting on my computer it says wifi 5 802.11 ac. If I get this will it still let me connect to my wifi and increase the wifi speed.

Yes my most motherboard have build in wifi. U have to disable it in the bios. When computer start u hit del. Then on the bios go and find onboard usb devices and look up wifi and disable it. The install this card and everything should be ok.

@@martingoodbody yes if u planing in using the Bluetooth do the same but then remember u need to power the wifi card with a usb in your mother board. Im not using mines I decided to use the build in Bluetooth on my pc. Just plug the card for the wifi.
You only need power on the wifi card if u planing to use the Bluetooth.

that cable isn't for power its a Bluetooth cable that connects to an f_usb port on your' motherboard. i only know cause I looked at this on amazon.

The tp link is just a WiFi receiver. Your router is the one in charge of giving out connection to other devices. The to link just take advantage of your WiFi 6 capable router. For brewery connection to it. Nothing connects to the to link.

Hey. Check in bios make sure the PCI slot is not disable. Also disable on board wifi if u have it. And if that don’t work check for drivers.

idk where you plugged in the cable but i got an instant CPU LED and DRAM LED lit up. i didn't toutch any sata, ram, cpu, vga, etc. The only thing i can think of is i plugged it into a PCIE_x16 cuz i don't have a PCIE_1

Nope. This adapter only works in windows pc
@@Al3xRodriguez I just bought the exact card and it works!! If you click on show notifications on bottom right near time bar and then at the bottom that you'll see a tile for enabling hotspot on your card 😜👍🏻
Many people don't know it. but this card uses an M.2 intel card. there are at least 10 companies using the same Intel chip. some are better than others. the heatsink is made to cover the M.2 slot. but it works well.
the card itself does not produce heat. the heatsink is made to cool the card from the heat emitted from your video card.
Hi do you know why Bluetooth icon is not showing? I think this card supports Bluetooth.
If u don’t connect the card using a usb internal to the mother board its not going to work. Bluetooth need to be connected

I tied everything to be honest. This is why I turned to this channel. I'll try bios again and possibly unplug Bluetooth and plug it back in. Im really grateful for your help.

I dint had to install any drivers. Just plug in and it was working. Only recommendation before connecting this, go to bios on the pc and disable wifi in your mother board. Before connecting this one.

If u have a WiFi 6 router u should not have any trouble livestreaming with this card. But also remember if u talking about streaming a game and playing it in the same pc u need to have a decent computer. Internet connection is not all.

It’s a usb splitter you plug one end into the usb slot on the motherboard and then it give you 3 more slots that you can utilize that needs to be powered via usb on the motherboard such as rgb lighting or other things

Not 100% true with the router requirement statement.. I'm running a WiFi 5 (Cox's POS Panoramic router/modem) with this exact WiFi 6 adaptor and I'm pulling 682Mbps. 802.11ac can support the higher speeds if your internet provider can give it. I have an onboard WiFi card that is 802.11ac as well and is supposed to support higher speeds. However the onboard does about 200Mbps on 802.11ac vs the 682Mbps the Wifi 6 card does on 802.11ac. I have a older router AC2400 that I bridged in with the Panoramic modem. Highest I could get was 240Mbps on the Wifi 6 adaptor. Its all about the quality of your hardware, built in anything sucks balls. As others have mentioned, your card is not running Wifi 6 (or 802.11.ax) its running in backwards capability at 802.11ac.
you got a GPU sag (at least in the video it looks like big overhang sag). Search for GPU sag solutions, or simply use lego blocks ;)
Try out the Cooler Master ELV8 sag bracket.
Watch carefully, he removed one screw holding the gpu on top for putting the pcie wifi card. No wonder why that card was sagging like crazy.

The only way the blue tooth will work if u Connect it to the motherboards u need a usb header to connected it and give it power
you didnt even configure your wifi settings.
You can get additional power boost.
also change your isp, you only got like 41Mbps upload speed

oh my gosh i was so surprised by that speed im getting 200mbps with the xfinity xfi pods using there ethernet and seeing this made me run straight to his description and buy it my speeds will be so much faster

What would be helpful on these videos are if the speed of the Internet coming into the wall was mentioned ie what speed you would get with etjernet connection. Then where the pc is ie how far from the router. This gives an idea how much connection speed losing.

No drivers needed just plug it in and it was working. But you can look up the drivers on the website just google it.

How many millisecond you ping is different to how fast your max data rate is. You ping depends on how far your server is, so you could have a very old school setup and still get 3ms. The ping part is more down to your service provider, you can ping fast but still transfer slow.

Update drivers on both your router firmware and also make sure u install update o. The tp link. Also it works only on windows 10. And also do a little bit of research and make sure your router is compatible with the tp link. Remember this work best with WiFi 6 router and I recommend everyone to try and update.

Just to make this video more reliable, I am not even on a WiFi 6 router and I get the same speeds during the test
im on wifi5 and my internet is 500/500 and i hit those speeds on the motherboard wifi and my 7 year old router . must been something else making it that slow before you changed to that pci adaptor.

Anyone do this test on an TP Link AX6000 wifi router instead of the AX3000? Supposed to be able to do 4gbps on an AX6000 because it supports the 4x4 MU-MIMO that the Wifi Adapter can do.
Omg the GPU sag hurts to look at....
Please don't move your pc around powered on like this, you can suspend the the GPU from near its power connector corner off some nylon fishing line as a cheap easy fix.

If your pc not detecting it. Look on google for the drivers. Mines work when i plug it in. Make sure u disable your wifi before installing it. And make sure u coonect the the usb on your motherboard

Ghost Player just try and update but back up your pc. Windows 10 did had alot of bugs at first. But they fix most of them. But double check with your pc parts and mother board if it’s comparable with windows 10

Make sure u disable on board drivers. Most motherboard have build in wif. Disable it on bios.

@@Al3xRodriguez I only bought this card against my better judgment that i should avoid tp-link at all costs because some guy at microcenter said they hadn’t heard of any problems with it.
I’ve only had it crash under heavy load (Moving large amounts of files over the network)
Hopefully I can get a refund if support can’t fix it
