- In this video I unbox my new TP-Link AX3000 PCIe wifi adapter. I show you how to set it up and compare it to my old usb wifi adapter. NOTE: this adapter only works with windows 10 64bit.
Is a PCIe wifi adapter better than a USB wifi adapter ?
-Yes, In my case i was able to archive faster download speeds. I doubled my download speed. However, it really depended on the download speed cap from your service provider. If you are not getting the speeds your paying for on your PC, but other devices on your network are, this may fix the problem.

When I installed the card and opened up my pc, the lights and fans stopped for a second and it boot up again. It's working fine now that it opened, I haven't installed drivers yet.

You need to connect to a USB port on the motherboard if you want to use the Bluetooth
But what drivers do I use, there is 2 WiFi drivers and one Bluetooth driver!?

would anyone know what the internal network speeds are of these and how much does it drop when you download? Simple to check by going into control panel, network, change adapter settings then douple click your wireless nework. You wthen see the true performance of your adpater, Many wifi 6 adapters get the download speeds rated for, but the internal speeds (ex: how long it take to communicate with your printer (dlay speeds) and how fast a file can transfer fromone device to another Many fall short and there is a huge drop. I had one that told me I was getting 1.7MBPS, then when I went to transfer a small file or print something it dropped to only 428MBPS. huge drop, so I was wondering if anyone ever checked this adapter out like that

Could you just sit the base anywhere it reaches? The area my PC is in right now is a low point for wi-fi signal, so if i could elevate the base it would get much better connection. Or does it have to be at the PC?
You could elevate the base and you can get a better connection as it is received from the entina and passed through the wire to your pc
My driver isn’t working. It connects to Bluetooth but it’s saying 1 or more factors the wifi driver isn’t installing
Does it have the compatibility to create a hotspot? And what kind if so, 2.4 ,5 or both? And how good is it on gaming devices?. Thank you
Not sure about the Hotspot capability, I recommend checking out their website.
I installed it on my pc and got really low ping, which is key for online gaming. I'd recommend it for gaming. Really depends on the speeds your getting from your isp, and your router and modem setup. They all play a role in the wifi adapter performance.

No you don't need a wifi 6 router. It works with my normal router. If your motherboard has an empty PCIe slot it should work. Search up your motherboard, and check if it has an empty slot. Good luck. Thanks

Just fyi, it’s megabits (Mb), not megabytes (MB). Comes from the 8 bits = 1 byte thing. Nice review, otherwise :) Got the card a few weeks ago and it doubled my speed, from 250mbps with another pci e adapter, to about 500. On wifi 5.
Ping also decreased (great for gaming).
Thanks, I always thought it was megabytes for some reason. Mega bit per second makes alot more sense.
hi bro im going to plug ax3000 on the pcieX2 slot and my motherboard got two usb port one is F_usb2 another one is F_usb1.
Should i plug in to the F_usb2 because my im using the pcieX2 not the PcieX1.

good pcie wifi card.. one thing i complain is everytime i connect into 5ghz or after wake up from slee mode my pc freeze.. and i need to force to turn in off to back normal..
How's the latency and connection of it? I'm scared of using it compared to Powerline Adapter as lagging and high ping while gaming on WiFi is the bane of my existence
The ping is alright, still wifi at the end of the day. Wired connection will always be better
Is this any good cuz i seen some bad reviews on amazon on how garbage the connection is and its update software which havent been updated since 2015
The tp link pcie wifi adapter in this video is new. Came out within the past year. This one works good for me. No problems with drivers.

My pc sits on the ground, and I can get it up to my desk easy, depends on how far back around you need to go.

tp-link Archer TX3000E says Bluetooth cable should be connected to F_USB on mobo. I have a MSI x570 A-pro mobo, which does not have that F_USB. I do see J_USB1, J_USB2 and J_USB3. J_USB3 is connected to USB 3 in front pannel, can I connect tp-link Archer TX3000E Bluetooth to J_USB1 since F_USB and J_USB both are 9 pins ?
Does the Bluetooth not work in the f_usb ?

I dont remember the exact name, its a USB 3.0, spent around $25-30, got it from Amazon. Wasn't anything high-end.

You had a PCIe x1 slot you could have inserted into as well
One was too close to the gpu and the other was too low
Is this Wi-Fi adapter still working good for you? I've got an older TP-Link adapter that's slower but rock solid and dependable. Hopefully this one will be just as reliable.

Does this require the usb connection on the motherboard?
Get your motherboards specifications sheet. It varies, sometimes the card might sit too close to the gpu air intake fans which is bad
does this increase your upload speed aswell?
My upload speed is capped at a very low number, so I got the same speed with this and the USB wifi adapter.
I just bought it. There are 2 walls between my room and modem. I receive 700mbps connection with modem. I'm sure if I tweak its advanced settings, I can get even more speed but no need since my internet speed is 200mbps. Also no lag whatsoever on bluetooth with my xbox one 9th gen controller.

Only if you want Bluetooth
The usb cable between the card and motherboard enables the Bluetooth after you install the Bluetooth driver,. The wifi works fine without the cable plugged.

Very nice video, but I suspect part of the difference is not that the old Inamax adapter was USB instead of a PCI card, but that your USB adapter has the old AC wifi standard, while the new Asus card should have an Intel AX standard wifi adapter in it (also called "Wifi 6"). AX wifi can be much faster than AC - definitely recommended. Anyway, I also like that this card gives you both wifi and bluetooth, without giving up an external USB port.

Id like to believe so, it does have the double antennas, my set up is fairly close to the router, so no personal experience with the performance over larger distances.
The one advantage is that you can position the antennas in a desirable location, because they have a wire. Id recommend trying it out,

this is just so u can have wii access on ur pc. u will still need internet connection. uness u are able to use ethernet cable

@@sharduljadhav6263 A router is what supplies the WiFi signal from your modem. So yes, in order to use this card, you will need a router. Otherwise, you will have to be connected by an ethernet cable from the modem.

You don't have to plug in the USB cable to your motherboard. The USB cable is just for the Bluetooth. The power comes from the pcie slot. So if you don't need Bluetooth, connecting the USB cable is not necessary.

It really depends on the internet service you are paying for. Like if your playing for 500 mega bits per second down, and your pc is only getting 200, it might be worth trying this adapter out. By the way getting an ethernet cable is always a good alternative. The adapter is definitely capable of very high download speeds.
There are also cheaper options on Amazon with good reviews. This one is priced higher because of the Bluetooth and wifi 6.
That's a shame, I don't have any spare USB sockets on my motherboard so I can't see how I would power it properly

Nice to hear that the video was good. Thanks. I also have a ryzen 2600x, the wifi card plugs into your motherboards pcie port. Your graphics card should be plugged into a pcie port and there should be empty ports under the g card. So it will work as long as your have an empty pcie port.
The wifi is very reliable. I use it to play video games and get solid ping. Personally have not used the Bluetooth enough to speak on its reliability.

No lag spikes, I've been playing fps games since I got it, ping stays low, no spikes
What is the WiFi range distance ?
That is dependent on your router itself and the positioning of it in the building/house of where the computer is.

@@jxgmedia256 sorted out... It was the AX92u... 2 firmware's ago fixed it so i take it all back.. Working great now.. I was not alone with the same bottleneck ;) also take a hard reset with wps button reset and power. Normal resetting did not fix it
