how is this better than aeropress? watching so much water dripping before you twist, I mean, can you brew inverted with this thing? the cleaning stage is also a step backward, with aeropress you just push and let the puck drop into the trash bin.
Got one for Christmas, as a design engineering project say in final year its fantastic , lovely bit of engineering. Now WHAT was the brief? Who posed the brief? Why was the brief proposed in the first place? As a coffee making device its FREAKING INSANELY OVER COMPLEX , as is the presentation, THERE IS NO NEED for this product, other than to part coffee snobs from their hard earned , it can fall apart and cover the user with boiling water.
The helix chamber is fixed in place and the filter base fits inside a cup, I don't understand the risk problem. It is mostly a more ergonomic alternative to the Aeropress, instead of pressing from the top, the user simply moves its hands together. Additionally it provides flexibility on the way to make coffee, I would say that's what justifies its design. I own one as well and I don't intend on defending the creators, just pointing out its positives. I understand a simpler machine can brew coffee just as well, but I don't see the problem in the existance of this device either.
That's an excellent gadget! Thanks for sharing.
After the Aeropress (which works great!) and the Cafflano Kompresso (which works more or less) ... now this?
What goose neck kettle is that?
Was wondering that myself. I could do with a goose neck jug. I’m off to check out my fav search engine.
Like that
