I've had this vacuum for 2 years. Not sure why it's being called new. But I am very happy with it. It runs every day and keeps my Dalmatians shedding under control.
I really think you should create a ranking on how often you have to clean the brush roll on Robot Vacuums. It's a big negative selling point in my option if you have to clean off the brush roll after every cleaning run and it's one of the reasons I don't use my Eufy much anymore. We have an older Roomba 800 series robot vacuum that we use far more because it doesn't need to be cleaned after every run.
You are a master of your craft. My partner and I are in the market for a robot vacuum and stumbled upon your channel. Top notch! Be proud of the work you've done. While we'll only buy one vacuum, I've subscribed to your channel and will watch your videos purely to enjoy the Mozart of robot vacuum reviews do his thing. Encore!
We have been very impressed with our G30. Now had it over a year. I’d now seriously consider a more expensive robo vac. Downsides for me are mainly as listed here. The cleaning is a pain but for the price a good buy.
I bought a hybrid40+ as a replacement for a much loved and missed MooSoo robot vacuum. Mine has a docking station containing a vacuum and vacuum bag that enables hands off cleaning. I have not used the mopping feature but I, too, have been quite impressed with Eufy. Mine does a great job of removing my black cat's fur from my cream pile rug. Yes, sometimes Eufy gets stuck but hey it's nice to be needed and this way I can say that I 'helped' vacuum. Love the little guy and so does my kitty.
I’ve had mine running daily for about a year and a half. Sure it doesn’t clean “deep down” but I’ve found that running it daily really does keep every thing very clean. It’s gotten stuck maybe 10 times in the last year and a half. I’ve replaced the roller brush twice and the filter 5-6 times (can get cheap replacement parts online). For the $200 I paid back then, it’s been a solid investment.
Is that vacuum taking pictures and uploading them to the cloud with a plain text encryption? Some of you think I joke, but I'm serious now about the Eufy. First time I heard about Anker was from GreatScott's video where he bought a power bank. Now, it was from JerryRigEverything. Then, Linus kicked in.

So I started with the roomba I2 and we use it 1 to 2 times a day in our home. I just scored a Roomba 595 Pet version for a few dollars online. Cant wait to see how the old 595 compares to the newer basic I2
When revieeing eufy, you really should mention the recent privacy scandal, where they upload images of your housr onto their servers without consent and you cant delete them.
May I please ask your advice. There a number of sprinkle on carpet cleaners & fresheners ie popular Vanish power etc. are these ok to use with robotic vacuum cleaners?
I bought this and ended up returning it after 3 uses. It worked fine, but my 2018 Deebot 930 even with a weak battery did a better job managing the single level, with three rooms. That machine took about 32 mins. The Eufy without Lidar varied wildly. One clean was very close, 36 mins. Then I had a 45 min, then a 52 min where it seemed the mapping system got lost. The fact it cannot store the map and learn from it is a big weakness. One think it did do better was charge from the time it deemed itself low enough to return to charge, to full. I wish these reviews all stated that data, as my 930 is painfully slow, and I imagine as these advance battery tech should allow for faster charge times. I have never seen reviews that measure it.
Eufy has reliability issues mainly with the main brush bearing and side brush gears. I’ve had 3, one starting showing issues about 6 months in. One failed in two months as the main brush bearing seized up. The replacement they sent failed the same way in 9 months so I’ve been running two of them without a main brush and faulty side brushes. Now, one of them has a faulty battery where it won’t hold a charge. They are good for about a year but don’t ever pay full price. My Roborock refurbished is about the same price and is light years better
My biggest issue with the ones I've tried is that I can't find a vacuum that will do my darker multi colored area rug. Will this have issues with it? It's a low profile rug, so it would have an issue getting it. The problem i keep running into is they all think they are falling off a cliff when they hit dark colors.
dont get how the eufy app can have real time tracking of their robot but for some reason shark STILL doesnt have real time tracking on their LIDAR based robots. Why can no other manufacturer make bagless self-empty bins. Thats all the people want!
Any recommendations if my robot vacuum thinks the black areas of my rug are a cliff? My rug is white with a large black design on it. It avoids these areas and often gets itself stuck, so I have the entire rug set as a no-go zone.
Please do the new Shark vac/mop combo. I saw the mop vibrates and it has this weird hole to blow debris out of corners. Was wondering if it’s worth it or not.
Bots like this make a new map every time it starts. It is there to show where it's been so it shouldn't repeat going over the same area. The map on the app is just for reference so you can see where the bot has been. The map is lost (in its memory for navigation) when it thinks it is done with its run (or is turned off) and returned to its docking station. Bots that can store multiple maps can store each floor map. The bots that can store maps, once mapped can be saved. Bots like the G30 always have to learn their surroundings each time they start.
Please review the Shark Ai Ultra 2in1 Vacuum and mopping robot. It has a similar vibrating mop to the roborock and seems like a very solid robot vacuum maybe some competing in the high end with a budget price.
You should look at the Yeedi Pro 2. It's mopping feature mimics a hand scrubbing. On at a very good price in the EU/UK. Only drawback, like all budget robovacs it would seem is that it only can handle one floor.
From my research before buying the pro from the current sale at Walmart, the only difference is the pro didn’t come with a spare side brush and filter.
Almost. G32 is Wal-Mart exclusive and doesn't come with the reflective tap. I have it and love it. I don't have any areas to restrict so no need for the tape.
From my understanding, the only difference is the G32 pro is a Walmart exclusive and doesn’t come with a spare side brush and filter. Neither model works with the magnetic boundary lines. Have to have the Edge or other model for the magnetic boundary to work with.
No. X8 sucks better and maps. G30 just does up and down and finishes round the edge. G30 is fine for the job if you don’t need no go zones. X8 you send where you want it or just let it clean. G30 you press go and it just does it thing.
I have one of these and the mop is absolutely shocking. You leave it a couple of minutes and all you see are two streaks of moisture going across the flooring. Extremely disappointed as we also paid £20 for clearning product to go into it, but no point in even bothering. I'll be calling them to either get a replacement of a refund.
When the (currently) 3rd best Neato is selling for the same price, I'll happily take the Neato and not deal with the 'budget' restrictions mentioned in this video.
