This is the device that has made the biggest difference to reducing the 'daily drudgery' kind of housework since I got my first dishwasher 20 years ago. It's absolutely brilliant on hard floors, but I don't tend to use it on carpets.
Thanks for the 1 year review, great info! Just bought 2 of the G32 pros from Walmart for $58 each a couple weeks ago (1 for upstairs, 1 for downstairs) and loving them so far. Mine did get stuck under a few furniture pieces as well so I added some felt furniture pads underneath the feet to raise them just enough and works like a charm. Only other gripe so far is that they sometimes seem to lose connection or something and so the mapping stops updating in real time but once it is done it does show the full map on the history.
Excellent review. I bought a few for my family members, and they're extremely satisfied. The product is budget-friendly, although it lacks map saving and LiDAR-based navigation. Apart from these minor drawbacks, it is truly outstanding.
These things are so good. I have a cluttered floor a lot of the time and it usually handles it well. My first vacuum had an issue with the motor and eufy sent out a new one relatively trouble-free. I had another problem a month or two later and they sent me a whole new vacuum. The problems I had could have been avoided I think. I am a fan.

If we decide to go with a Eufy, which model would you suggest going with?
I think the G30 offers a good balance of performance and price. I've been looking at the X8 because of the upgraded mapping with the laser and better performance, but it comes at a steeper price. Not sold on the ones that have a mopping feature too (hybrid models)... I'm skeptical of how well they work, plus the added hassle of refilling it isn't really appealing. @@TopHomeownerx8 gets the job done quicker but overall it's louder. Wheel motors aren't as refined and louder. Ive found the ecovacs N8 does a better deep clean and is better all round. Bin isn't as big but it ticks all other boxes. Don't bother with the mop function on these bots unless you get the round scrubbing type ones.
has anyone tried boiling water in a coffee cup in microwave and soaking the spinny brush in that for 30-45 seconds? make them go back to new and straight...not for very long, but takes a LOT of the curl out of them ❤💕

@@pine445 It’s quiet in my opinion, but it will vary based on multiple factors, including: suction power (three modes), the surfaces it’s being used on, and what you personally consider loud. Please note my experience based on using the standard suction on a vinyl floor. It’s audible - kind of like water being run in a shower - but not so loud that I find it aggravating.
Mines still going too, I named it Arnold after the pig on green acres lol, and programmed it to squeal if it gets stuck lol, it's pretty quiet and it does an excellent job , I have mine set to vacuum every night from 9pm to when it docks itself
Oh my God we named ours Babette and we actually bought a French maid outfit even comes with a tiny feather duster LOL when I saw that I told my partner this is just too tacky and dumb to not get

I've had my C30 for 3 years and it cleans just under an hour. I was looking at the G30 is only $99 so I am just going to buy a new one. The C30 definitely isn't getting the job done any more.
My son is 5 years old and he is obsessed with vacuums, this one is the 3rd vacuum I got for him. Now he is trying to find out what is the rubber strip ones are for? Anyone knows? They are 2 little black ones.

Example, if it's not scheduled and I'm out, could another person use the app to start a clean or would they have to start it manually?

I've got this model and it's great on hard floors, which is mainly what I bought it for [big kitchen-diner]. It's made a huge difference to me by removing the general slog of sweeping/swiffing on a daily basis, especially on those days where I also need to steam mop.
It probably will. Just think of it as a normal vacuum so if you're normally careful about the tassels when vacuuming, than this wouldn't be any different.
It should run until it's covered the entire area or until the battery runs out and needs to be charged. We haven't had any issues so I'm not sure whats wrong. Bad battery maybe?
PRO TIP: DO NOT BUY THE MOPPING MODEL. is a complete joke. it goes around with a tiny damp pad and does not do ANYTHING in the way of mopping. was sooooo disappointed, sent it back, complete gimmick! that said, the G30 is really amazing!

I have tassels at some ends of my rugs, should I be worried about it munching through them?
It probably will. Just think of it as a normal vacuum so if you're normally careful about the tassels when vacuuming, than this wouldn't be any different.
It usually takes tasselled rugs for a ride. Have to lift those up out of the way for cleaning, which is a shame but hey, G30 knows about stairs.
