Very helpful, thank you. May I add something? Next time I change the battery I will be sure to have the spare fob nearby. When I put the new battery in the alarm in the truck started shrieking. I had to quickly get the fob together enough to be able to hit the panic button. We live in a quiet neighborhood. Luckily it was in the middle of the day. 😄

@@PYR-Auto Worked! Without the video, I might have made a mistake, because two of the three pieces were stuck together/if I hadn't seen the video, I may have damage the little fingers that hold the battery in.

I changed the battery because it wasn't remote starting, figured the battery was dead. Now it won't remote start, lock the doors and is intermittently saying key fob not detected when I try to start or just go from off to ACC. Any tips?
I would try another battery just to be sure there's nothing wrong with the replacement battery - otherwise the fob itself may be going bad

Unfortunately there is no manual way to program these fobs - you will need an automotive locksmith or dealership
