realjessewolfe well.....it ended up not working for me. I tightened the zip tie on as tight as I could and it just slipped off everytime so I took it to the dealer and made them do it :) they used small needle nose pliers with a rag covering them to get them out without breaking. regardless. I have all white lights now and I'm stoked.

No problem! It drove me nuts too, I seriously cannot understand how you are "Suppose" to get these out. I guess they have bulb pliers? This was easy and cheap lol
most models come with a cylinder type bulb now. my 2006 does. Also, the only reason that whole console should be removed is for the little popper thinkgy if it stops working. To remove it, you do what he did to take the covers off and there should be a star screw on each side that once removed, will allow access to the inside.

Quick question - I was able to replace the bulbs with LED on the dome lights (left and right). The right one was working then it stopped working when I put the plastic clear button back and now I can't get it to work. Could it be the fuse? I have a 2018 Ram 4th generation 5.7 - I have no clue which fuse that would be if it is the fuse. Thanks for any help
I like the bulb removal trick. With the LED does it allow for it to dim as the incandescent does as it counts down to no light at all? Any trouble with the system rejecting the bulb as a faulty bulb? Thanks

Oh dude!....I was searching for this tutorial from several hours, to remove bulb from my Suzuki Baleno. I tried the pull through my fingers, but it wasn't work out. In an another video for Baleno, A guy use screw driver to remove the bulb. But i think, this is not a good idea to use metal stuff on electrical sockets. Now im going to try your idea :)

Why do none of these bulbs work when you push the dome lights in to turn on? They turn on when I open the door. But when I push them in to turn o on they dont work.

I did this to my 2015 1500 Express RAM and they work great except the lights don't come on at night when I open my door, say I'm coming out of walmart at night, and open the door, my interior lights don"t come on. Now they do come on in the daylight, but not at night when I need them most. Is it because of the LEDs mess with the computer or something else. I have not reinstalled the original incandescent lights to see If this happens with them. Any thoughts anybody?

No Problem! Yeah the tape would not stick long enough.

To help out you also can use the zip ties as a gripper and take out the bulb with needle nose pliers so the pliers have something to hold on to

Should be identical I believe. Just use a non-marring pry tool and go slow!

Thats weird. Check the fuse and then it might be the housing if not the fuse.

Newer trucks are directional. Try reversing the bulb. If not it's probably a wiring issue.
LEDs ony function with current flow in one direction. So, yes turn 180 degrees. Should work fine.
