McLaren is a name synonymous with incredible supercars. The 720S right out of the box runs 10s on the quarter mile, and its rear wheel drive.
The 570 is a hardcore, no compromises supercar but it seems McLaren realised that their range needed a GT and so they set about modifying the 570 to be a bit more...practical.
So it's now the sort of car that owners can happily tour around the country in, but we wanted to take that one step further and ask, can you daily a McLaren?

Correction. This is actually a McLaren GT NOT 570 GT. The 570 GT is a very different car
I bought The 2022 McLaren GT in January! Not only is it the absolute MOST beautiful McLaren, it is incredibly practical. i literal go grocery shopping ang go to the car with a over flowing grocery cart, The front trunk, I can put a 35 bottle water pack and 3 cases of Diet Soda. Then about 9 plastic grocery bags on top. Then I have all the space in the back. Its mind blowing how much you can fit in this car. Plus the interior is Epic. Stunning and Luxury expensive and classy! The comfort of the seats is off the charts! Absolutely LOVE IT!

Ahhhh I love how practical the car is, fits a whole broom and pot plan in those two compartments... 🔥I mean I could barely see that surfboard peeking through the seats! A car after my own heart!

This is the McLaren GT. It can be told apart from all its other McLaren siblings by its higher ground clearance that enhances it's GT credentials. It looks as though the nose lift has been activated, even when it hasn't. It's just how high the McLaren GT sits from the ground. It is also much longer than both the Sports Series cars (540C, 570S et al) and the Super Series cars (720S et al). McLaren also make another model, confusingly called the 570GT. I think that is what confused Ciro. He called this car in this video the McLaren 570GT a few times. The McLaren 570GT looks exactly like the 570S, with the exception that the 570GT has a glass cover over the engine that can be opened sideways to reveal a little bit extra luggage space above the engine. The 570S doesn't have a glass cover above the engine. And the cover of the McLaren GT (in this video) opens like a normal hatch back. And I'm drooling over that wheel design.
Isn't it called the "McLaren GT" a "570 GT" is a very different car, either way, very entertaining video, keep it up.

I wouldve replaced Clarkson with Ciro !!! 😁... great video as usual, really enjoy all your videos Ciro... if I ever bump into you be prepared for a couple of selfies bud! as for the Mc ... I was never a fan of the Mc, perhaps because of my unique physique getting in and out of that car for every day use could be entertaining to the bystander... I think the Aston Martin could be more comfortable as a daily? I personally will stick to Urus, X6M etc. coz of the comfort and space best of both worlds I guess... when I can afford one day ... Keep up the great work Cars.COZA
Great review as always by Ciro. Taking into account that this review was targeted at the everyday practicality of the car, I would've loved to see more of the interior such as storage and cup holders (I know he said there's 3 cupholders)

I'd take a Ferrari FF, with an IP exhaust. Depreciation makes it cheaper, it's a V12, and more space

You are correct, Ciro is a moron and has already been fired.
An amazing car but imo a Bentley continental GT does the trick🙌... They even have some kind of a backseat to add to practicality, a lot of power and are easy to climb in and out of, if I do say so myself😅

Awesome vid! This car most definitely does not have space for a week long grand tour for more than one person but hey, with that kind of money, maybe you'll just pay for someone to carry the rest of your luggage in another car altogether. Otherwise proper "cherry mpona" daily. Easily in my top 5.
The Bentley Continental GT is still my favourite. You could go away for a long weekend with space to spare and enough horses to send you into the future

@@investigativereports1622 Thanks for the insight, I'll reserve my opinion till I see one in person. Unfortunately the closest some of us come to most of these kinds of cars is here on TH-cam. The closest dealership to me is a good 500km away so a visit to see one is a bit out of the question. And depending on the camera work and the reviewer, we won't always get a real world picture. So I hope you will excuse my perspective under these circumstances.

I get what you're saying @@Jay.D.Smithy, but a good GT needs to quick and *comfortable*. When he was getting in and out of the car it didn't look comfortable nor gracious, and I can tell you from my own experience that a Porsche 911 is easier to get in and out of.

If it was a Porsche or a Ferrari, fine, I know several who use it as a daily, but Mclaren is very unreliable for that, the cars have a bad build quality, I personally know several cases of absurd problems with Mclarens, in other brands they are the exception when there is a problem, at Mclaren the exception is that the car does not have a problem!
