I will try to get it posted in the next week. It’s super easy.
In preparation for that, you’ll need an OBD dongle like the one I linked in the description. You don’t have to get the specific one I recommend, but make sure to get a good one that is compatible with all Ford modules. Otherwise you may not be able to turn off hyperflashing.
You’ll probably find other uses for the dongle too. They are handy to have around for diagnostic work and work on all makes and models of vehicles.

How to make the lights turn on when I open the door and how to unlock the tailgate. I have a 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility and I have the forscan program. I need instructions on how to do it. If you can. Great video
For the lights, set “Dark Car” to “Disabled.”
For the tailgate, set “Police Rear Door” to “Disabled.”

Thanks for commenting! No, I left my headlights as-is. The low beams are integrated LEDs from the factory and the high beams are halogen. After owning several pairs of LED headlights in the past, I opted to stay with halogen high beams for a few reasons:
- LED headlights last no longer than halogen in my experience
- retrofit LEDs are “brighter” but often have poor projection patterns
- halogens are useful for melting snow and ice off your headlights.
- the high beams are used much less often than the low beams, so battery drain is not a concern.
On the other hand, if I do end up trying another set of LED headlights, I’ll post a video. :)
I did replace the turn signals. Its works fine but the turn signal inside speedo is blinking super fast.
That’s perfectly normal. You have to change a setting in FORScan so that your turn signal indicators flash at the normal rate even when LEDs are installed. I will be making a short video to show that.
Just a heads up, the link to the Front turn signals (amber) bulbs is no longer up.
Thanks for the heads up. I have contacted the seller to see when/if they will be offering that exact bulb again. If you are in a rush, I think you could use the "rear turn signal" bulb in the front socket. They are nearly identical. I'll let you know what I hear back from the seller.

Thanks for the reply. I actually got a set, was looking back at your video to see which one was which since the turn indicator bulbs aren't marked anywhere. Thankfully the rear bulb listing has measurements so I'm able to narrow them down.

The LED indicator bulbs I buy are good quality. I have run them for years on multiple vehicles and never had to replace one yet. Cheap LED bulbs will often burn out before halogens, so shop for quality.
Reverse lights on these things are TERRIBLE! The brake lights are brighter
The LED lights are a brighter white than the old halogens for sure, but visibility is still limited when in reverse. Thank goodness for the backup camera!
