Robinhood launched over eight years ago. They’ve been around long enough to fix a lot of “newbie” problems and they definitely here to stay. And, yes, they are pretty much responsible for the industry switching to fee-free trading.

Try charles Schwab or fidelity. You can leave the account open if you want or contact robinhood and close it. Yup can play my videos a little slower using the TH-cam feature.

You’re already on the right track. Just learn from others like myself. Stay away from get rich fast schemes. Check out the Dave Ramsey book in my description. It’s enlightening to read but more geared towards your parents age group. But I always found learning from the older generation a great way to avoid bad choices or follow good choices.
I opened RH a few weeks back due to a friend introducing me to crypto. Like you rightly said, crypto is like gambling and that instantly turned me off. I'm thinking of selling and just putting the money in an S&P500 through RH and just forget it Or just close it. I already have accounts through Schwab and fidelity.

I would pay for a transfer out of robinhood otherwise you will trigger taxes. If you don’t mind, just sell it all I suppose.
