I would think people in their 20's are still deciding what they even want to do in life before retiring. Like the saying goes, follow your passion 1st and the money will follow.
Thanks for the video.. I have been checking back to see if you post. I like the advice here.. #1 cut all the debt and stack the savings... its always a reminder to me when work is slow and I go down to 40 hours (from 50+) and I am able to relax and enjoy the time while co workers stress and panic.
Really liked the last piece of advice that it is okay to downsize on your career. I won't be doing that any time soon, but I think it's a great point as most people are so career driven and thinking about their next step forward
The money is great but I think all that stress ultimately just shaves off years of your life and you start to think why you slave yourself for someone else. Once you get to FI, you have a whole new mindset, one your employer doesn’t like (secretly)
I have tons of hobbies but being locked down (kids) made me not want to retire early lol. I think if I had no kids, it might be a different story. I’d probably burn through all my money like water though and then be bored again lol
7:53 i always knew this from like 16, thats why at low paying jobs they treat u like shit nd at high paying jobs they work u to the bone even outside of ur pay grade because u aint got no other option👍
