    I'm glad you did this walk through. I've been trying to explain to friends and family how busy MRRF was and many of the things that were there. This was my first year to attend.

    Thanks for coming out Tom. Everyone that showed up was incredible with their projects and samples. It was good to meet you and refreshing to have someone use a first bump in place of a shake. So many germs on hands, but people get offended if you offer a bump lol.

    Thanks for the walk through Tom! I'm actually 1 1/2 hours away, but working on-call the whole weekend in my real job.     Would love to see your take on the white knight belt printer (how flat/even is the bed? Is it good enough for printing a product where the bedside it the visible part of the product) and some Railcore printers please.

    If you add 2 9mm Clip-on Ferrite Ring Cores on each axis and the main power cable you will greatly reduce noise and ringing. Prints will come out smoother. Also adding 1 32x3 mm round n52 magnet to each 2 cores completes for perfect walls. Stabilizes the stepper motors.

    Really wish you had stepped to the left when looking at that huge 3D print. My bud Fun King 3D from Florida brought the FK1 printer up. Don't know how you missed the largest traditional machine in the place!

    Great tour, so many parts where i wish for you to stay and have a look. But one thing caught my eye. Is it the 3dprinting community or US overall with so so many overweight people? I mean I am not a leightweight myself but there are so many ....

      MRRF is in the midwest, which is probably the highest proportion of overweight people. (I'm from the midwest but have lived all over the US)

    8:14 and 9:18 _Walks right by Nicholas Seward_ "Did we skip anyone? Nope.." Have a look at his designs. They deserve more attention. He does a lot of cool stuff with novel geometries. He's very talented.

      ThantiK Nick Seward was showing off a non-planar 3D printer on wheels. It is like a next-gen Helios, using a SCARA arm connected to a base that can “drive” around but also “tilt” the hotend by 20 degrees.The idea is infinite printing, not limited by a belt (man’s a genius).

    I've enjoyed MRRF the last two years. I think I'm going to skip Saturdays from now on though. As someone who gets clausterphobic it's not ideal lol.

    So about the WhiteKnight, the belt is actually a patent by Stratasys - do they regognize that and licence it to WhiteKnight?

      I believe it's only patented if the axes are perpendicular - hence the 45° Z-axis, same as on the Printrbelt

    They need a bigger venue. End of story. The novelty of Goshen IN has worn off.

      It was much better on Sunday. Unfortunately people started packing up wayyyyyy early. Both buildings were packed shoulder-to-shoulder, and when people stopped to talk they wouldn't take into consideration that other people needed to get around them.
      Still, amazing turnout - The organizers should be proud of what they've accomplished.

      it will have 300-400% more space next year. going to move it UP a week into april which will allow access to a much bigger space.
      what they really need is another day. start thursday for setup then full friday saturday since right now its essentially a one day event and really need to be a 2+ day event and make friday closed to public industry only day then wide open sat/sun
      at least that is what I would do :-)
      it will make it a lot less hectic as well since you will have more time so won't have to rush so much.
