“They’ve re-badged it you fool” - very subtle Alan Partridge quote 👏 😂
I bought a Panamera 4S a while back, badging, door sills, instruments cluster... all with 4S logos. Even the registration said 4S (still not sure how that was possible). It turned out it was a Panamera S, that in Canada, due to frequent snowfall is worth a lot less. Massively overpaid and ended up trading it for a 40% loss.. Lesson learned
Hmm 🤔🧐 interesting, that sucks!
@@Idk_about_anything someone went through a lot of trouble to pass it as a 4S. I did not realize until I took it for a tire change and saw only real wheel drive. Further VIN inspection proved it was an S. Too bad, cause I would have kept it otherwise, it was a rare spec.
Now Matt, my dear dear friend! Don’t be disappointed by a 320i! I love my 2017 320i!❤❤ Of course mine is a US spec with every option available including leather and the B&O sound system so its a rare bird but its mine!
This E93 is offensive... a once beautiful car reduced to that sorry state :(
"Beautiful". It was a bog standard motorway cruiser. Every brand has one or two
Pretty sure it’s an E92.
@@Smithy1789 E93 is the convertible version
I have E93 320i as weekend car ,i use is as 3th car on nice weather days .But its a money pit ,there is always issues ,even when finally you fix some issue in few days its another one even worster. I did not have courage to drive anywhere far from my town and when i sad ok,its nice weather i will go on trip with it ,it broke 70 km from my town and i waited 4 hours for rescue truck .And it does not have many km on it ,its just unreliable by design
@@dzonikg Oh no, the 320i... absolutely a bad buy. The timing chain is well known to fail and shred the engine. Ticking time bomb, that was a bad design by BMW. And alot of these cars have been in the hands of idiots now they're cheap. Like this one in the video and they haven't been kept well or maintained properly. My 335i E92 gave me one issue in the 4 years I owned it, replaced the coil packs as it would jerk under acceleration. That's it. Sold the car with 127,000 miles on it.
The secret with older BMWs is their weak point is their cooling system.. Always Changed out the radiator viscous fan and water pump and stat straight away with aftermarket parts.
As coolant radiator are done at 14 year old
I was scammed with a clocked e class looking forward to my day in court!
Please tell us the name of the dealer who sold this to you.
BMW’s of this generation ALWAYS leak oil and usually it’s from the rocker cover it’s either cracked or it’s the gasket it then drips onto the exhaust creating that smoke show. Same with the diesels but I haven’t seen it as much with those.
Tell tail sign is oil in the spark plug hole or as mentioned the smoke show.
Whose given a grand for that? You must of told him it's a 335i
Sorry Matt had to laugh when you were flogging Holy drinks, then you went off for a coffee to have a think, but not about your waist line😊
Owned by a Bradford gangster
Offensive is the perfect description 😂 It is quite hypnotic in a straight way though
0:53 This is why I try to avoid touching the touch-screen and use the dial instead.
Touch with the back of your hand or nail.
😂
@@s2000. A capacitive touchscreen won’t react to your nail.
I have a paper towel for the rare cases I did touch the screen.
I’ll try to use the back of my hand next time. 👍
It’s the sort of car that has been “tastily modified” but apart from the ridiculous gear lever and all the broken trim, bad paint and potential oil leak/ misfire it’s an ok car
downside to this channel is you literally try pushing rubbish, if it isn't vertical car check, its borderline illegal energy drink powders.
Matt, I'm so glad I found another person that shares my utter hatred for modified cars, get the lot of them off the road
I have a E90 Alpina (and I live near Birmingham lol) my car is in immaculate condition and is a December 2007 car so it's older than this shed. Why don't people look after things? It annoys me.
Likely because this was bought on the cheap by whoever had it before Matt, then just thrashed everywhere and drifted round the local Maccies car park with zero maintenance.
When the roof opened you had a great opportunity to say the 'I stand corrected, said the main in the orthepaedic shoes' 🤣🤣
If the main dealer describes a 320i as a 335i you should be able to return it or have the price adjusted.
I don’t know English law but I’d hope this could be classified as fraud or at the very least misleading.
Exactly!
Step 1. Before paying money to check the specs & history, use the free car spec by number plate spec checker by Parkers which would have told you immediately that is a 320i M Sport 2d and saved you a bit of time.
Been owned by a less than honest person who smokes strange smelling products!
They’ve re-baged it you fool! 😂😂 top tier Partridge
Look at the central touchscreen at 0:54. It just looks so ugly with all that fingerprints (no offense Matt, it's of course not your fault). I hate all those touchscreens, touchpads and shiny black panels in newer cars. I want those physical buttons back. A car is not a smartphone...
You flailing around with that gear lever in disgust was way funnier than it should've been 😂
This video has the best comments of any High Peak Autos video I can ever recall seeing!!
Hi ! I'm a big fan of your videos and I find them quite useful and entertaining, I had a question for you as a used car dealer, which car would you buy , a new car with more miles or an older version of the same car with less miles on it ? Thanks
Looks like one of those "offensive" aftermarket stereos you were selling a few weeks ago.
Ouch 😢 sorry you took such a loss everything wrong with it Matt hope the mysterious glove box wasn't full of treasure it good that you show the lows and highs of being a car dealer
Absolute wreck mate - bloody scammers!!!!
