There's plenty of scandal around Better Help. This isn't one. Even if they are selling your data they are probably allowed to where they are based.

Go easy on Matt. The only reason 95% of people buy an SUV is because there's something missing in their lives. But regardless of what that is, an SUV doesn't fill the void for long - and that's where Betterhelp comes in.
But I went to Better-help. They looked me up in 36 different countries, and checked that I was clear of finance, hadn't been stolen or written off in a crash.....
Car vertical just told me I needed counselling for my mental health when I said I wanted to buy an Alfa Romeo.....

The RR also has a screen for the driver with other driving information showing not just the one large central screen, that is the point.

Not sure this was articulated the greatest in the video, but I believe he was getting at the layout more than anything with the Tesla. He didn’t like that the centre screen was the ONLY input method on that car and everything was buried in various sub menus. The new range (while still predominantly using the touchscreen) is probably a lot closer to his previous car and therefore less of a pain in the arse to use.
Literally everything is done through that screen, it's the same as the Tesla. No knobs or buttons at all.
You can promote whoever you like but I hope you're aware of Betterhelp's history of controversy and information leaks of vulnerable patients.

should not accept better help sponsorships. plenty of horror stories around them, including when they sold all their custromer's data to third party buyers TWICE, the fact their supposed "trained helpers" are regular random people who got a 8 hours course, and more... shame on you for not doing research into the company you accept sponsorship from.
He is accepting any sponsorship who pays big bucks. Like Betterhelp or CarVertical with a shocking service. They are all making huge contribution, otherwise he might not be able to afford a a brand new 140k Range Rover.

An EV charged with home solar has no running costs. You cannot beat zero dollars. PHEVs and petrol cars alike will become totally irrelevant come 2030 due to high running costs and complicated maintenance.

I think you really have to take a step back and think about what you just said. You don't think EV's have complicated maintenance either, that is not the case, and I'm not even getting into the higher insurance rates.
@@tonypacke6954 Rubbish. In Australia, EVs can be had from AUD $36,000 and are _free_ to run with home solar. But, a 2 petrol car household will spend $84,000 on fuel and maintenance over 20 years. Plus, there are significant EV tax benefits as well.
Even at $36,000 for each petrol vehicle, the total outlay over 20 years is $156,000, which is an insane amount of money for a pair of boring Toyotas. The electric motors and battery packs in EVs are maintenance free and will easily reach 500,000km. As for the insurance difference, this is immaterial as the petrol car running costs are bloody high. After 15 years petrol car will need to be junked.

When you say they are expensive (while watching a video from a guy who has a brand new range rover) what are you comparing it to? All the benefits Matt outlined, silence, running cost, preheating etc are basic attributes of EVs without the eye watering £500+ service cost every year
@@user-kc1tf7zm3b English actually. I'm only going by the situation we have in the UK. I was wondering what EV car you own, how much you paid for it and what it's resale value is worth now. Your hardly likely to use such a vehicle for any long range journeys, especially in Aus, so you will have a car for the shops and a proper machine for the outback. So what I'm saying, your EV is a compromise that will not replace a convention ICE vehicle.

Yep, that's why I don't pay for TH-cam. Just put up ad-blockers, if I like a channel, I'll buy their merch. In ad sponsors can be skipped by an extension called sponsor block.

I'm afraid that I don't understand why anyone who deals in cars for a living would spend £120k on a new one that will depreciate by 60k or more over 3 years. Surely it hardly matters what the running costs are when you're losing £1,600 a month in depreciation alone?

Tomorrow will be 7 weeks since I picked up my Range Rover Sport from Land Rover Chester. Sadly the car is on its third visit to the dealers and I've only been able to use it for 2 weeks in total in that time. The customer service has been absolutely abysmal. To the point where Ive had to go in to the dealership to actually speak to someone as they don't return calls. I've been trying to reject the car for a week but every time I speak them it's we'll have an answer tomorrow. If you've got this far, do yourself a favour and avoid the place like the plague
Do everything by email so that you have proof of what's been said, and tell them that under the consumer rights act you want a full refund, breach of contract due to the faults you've raised. Even more straight forward if you've paid by credit card? section 75.
Any problems call Dean Dunham on LBC radio Sunday 9-10pm and he'll advise you, don't wait for them to respond, they're playing for time.
I know that new Autobiography is super expensive Matt but you don't need to prostitute your reputation for Betterhelp to help you pay for it.

Had to agree with this, and while I can't knock him for the choice and, he clearly has earned this from a successful business, I prefer the hustle of the regular videos with cars that most of us could afford.

The channel was entertaining because it was accessible, I used to love it, sorry Matt you have little in common with the majority of your viewers now, the car lot clearly isn’t your main source of income and that’s cool, I wish you well and I’d buy the car too but for me at least your USP has now gone. You Tube is filled to the brim with influencers coining it from their channel and referral fees for services they advertise, there’s no shortage but there is a shortage of authentic, genuine ‘ordinary’ people.
Matt’s just outgrown his OG audience, good luck to him, he’s built a channel, earned his dough but what it is now just isnt what attracted early viewers in the first place.

Even better help? Talk to a friend. You don't have to schedule weeks in advance with a friend. They will understand your issues. Only drawback is your mate won't sponsor a TH-cam episode. It's not a single person but the community as a whole. By using Betterhelp, you are making your viewers angry because they don't support (such) unethical practices. If the YT channel cared, they will not use it. But the truth is, they don't care. They need that sponsor money, they don't care about the ethics and the likes. If that's how it is, don't be surprised that you'll have community that will shit on you for that.

I have been following your TH-cam Broadcasts for a bit and I am a Range Rover enthusiast. Having owned an L322 2011 Supercharged V8 and an L405 Supercharged V8 I cannot imagine how you can compare the In-Line 6 Hybrid, notwithstanding the sound and immediate torque. Kudos to Land Rover for the body re- design, but the engines simply do not compare. So you can imagine how disappointed I was by your decision as it contradicts all of your earlier sentiments about the 3rd and 4th Generation Rovers. Everything new and shiny does not stand up the proven heritage of the previous generation engines. I suspect that engine will not be performing at the same level after 60,000 miles. But I wish you the best.

This car and brand is the epitomy of the 'look at me, I look down on you brigade'. A marque that has moved away from its traditional offroad market, towards luxury British upper class urban snob mobiles. (Oh, but RR have always been like that .... blah blah).
The amount of fluffy redundant features such as 'back message' (FFS) and a touch screen to turn up the volume of your radio 4 programme is a statement to how removed this car is from 'a driving experience' as in actually feeling the road rather than being isolated from it. The 4x4 market is disappearing and Land Rover are pivoting towards an EV ecological luxury one. Maybe they're just giving their target market what they want or think they do.
And JLR are now going to move further toward the luxury EV experience with their next generation of extravagantly priced "cars".
They scream NOUVEAU RICHE.
Anyone who buys one of these new JLRs really does need BETTER HELP. and don't get me started on the INFIERNIUM engines

Lots of comments here about the BetterHelp sponsorship. I'm not sure that it is a relevant or appropriate sponsorship for this channel whereas CarVertical certainly is. Aside from that, this is still one of my favourite YT channels.
The sponsorship on this video seems a bit controversial. I didn't find it very authentic.
Please take the time to look at customer satisfaction surveys , reliability ratings, or even J D POWER Customer satisfaction survey.
To sum up . Over priced, woefully unreliable ,expensive to repair, and you will be doing a lot of that. Remember the old addige, if you want to
travel out into the desert, buy a range rover. If you want to come back, buy a land cruiser.

Matt… a very similar journey on the Rangie as myself, having owned plenty of JLR products and now L405. However, I cancelled my order for L460 last month simply because I couldn’t tolerate a loss of 70% depreciation on a 5 year old car. Genuinely taking the piss on the p/x; the thought of applying same loss on another £130k car made my stomach turn, irrespective of now “loaded” I may already be. 🧐 “the reason wealthy people have money is because we don’t spaff it away”. Good luck with new car however 👍
Exactly that. My colleague at work only yesterday said he was dumbfounded that I am able to retire very comfortably next year aged 55. He is the same age yet he has less than half the investments and wealth I have. I think the Range Rover and Harley on his drive, the designer clothes and the perma-tan from repeated Caribbean holidays might be slight clues.

You mentioned the running costs and servicing but what about the insurance? Renewal quotes this year for our Land Rover (5yo) have been insane, and many insurance companies won't even quote.

Personally would’ve stuck with the L405, more reliable and much better looking than the new one, but as long as your happy with it

Nothing worse than spending a load of doh on trash really. The toys seam good but range rover lost it years ago. That screen would annoy me silly plus looks tatty. Hand it back and get something with 4 rings.
