    If you'll keep it rustfree, it's a tank, that strong is it. Congrats!

    did you put the radio in yourself? im getting my son this same car but i want to upgrade the radio, where did you buy this one from?

    • @07kdriven
      @07kdriven  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sorry for the late reply. Yes I did put it in myself. I bought it of Amazon. It was about $300. When you do upgrade the radio I recommend that you get one with Apple Carplay and Android Auto because later on it will be a pain to install.

    Will there be any consume difference between the 2006 jetta that produces 150 CV, against the 2008 model that produces 170 CV? I'm getting my 1st car, and I want to use it daily... what will you recommend???

    • @07kdriven
      @07kdriven  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a difference between the two, the main difference is that the 2008+ make 170hp and 2005-2007 make 150. Also the 2008+ have a revised timing chain because the early models like mine have timing chain stretch issue. They are all great choices, generally the early models have more issues. I recommend that you get a 2010 MK5 generation which looks like the shown in the video

      I have a 2008 Rabbit with the 2.5 liter engine and 170 hp and it still runs like new at 148K miles. Plenty of power and no oil consumption. When you drive it, the engine is quiet until you "get on it" and then it sounds like a beast. My automatic/manual 09G transmission is flawless as long as you change the fluid at 30K mile intervals. Beyond that, the shifts are not as smooth. You can leave it in Drive and the long-stroke, high torque engine can handles anything at low rev's; if you want it to scream you can move the shifter to the right and shift sequentially up or down; and the third choice is to move it into Sport mode for the hairpin turns in the mountain twisties while the engine is screaming. This little car can do it all.
      I call mine the TARDIS because it is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.

    I have a 2010 jetta 2.5 with 155k miles. Seems to be running really good still. How many miles do you think these will last?

    • @07kdriven
      @07kdriven  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With proper maintenance, I've seen the 2.5s go 300k+ miles. My car is coming up on 110k.

      @@07kdriven awesome news. I've done the oil change every 5k miles. Only other issue I've had was the alternater shit the bed around 120k and that's it. Other wise it's been perfect. I plan on driving it into the ground!

    Nice looking vehicle, does it feel premium inside?

    • @07kdriven
      @07kdriven  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Id say the materials are above average compared to something like a Honda or Toyota. But as there cars are nearing the 20 year old mark for the older models the material can start to show their age.

    • @mustasheolll2020
      @mustasheolll2020 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@07kdriven yea, my 2016 Scion iA (Mazda 2) might look mainstream for a vehicle at its price, but it feels a lot more premium than one would think.
