  • #ad In this video, we talk about how to navigate through your first 100 days in Canada.
    1. First 30 days - getting your AIRBNB, bank account, govt documentation and short term accomodation sorted
    2. Next 30-60 days - buying furniture, getting a job
    3. Next 60-100 days - building phase or extreme struggle where you go an an extreme budget or even look for a survival job.
We will also like to Thank @BMOCanada for sponsoring today’s video #GetMoreWithBMO

We don't like immigration agents - the ones' that aren't authorized by ICCRC and qualified to help you with your application in exchange for money - first of all, it's not legal to do that, and second of all, it's so easy that you don't really need paid help! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and moved to Canada 3 days before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent and unauthorized immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of NOTHING; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. After months of research and our own experience of applying for a Canadian PR, we came up with an e-book series & this TH-cam channel which would include - errors to avoid, perfect sample documents (my own) and alternate ways of immigrating to Canada - 100 pages of absolute goldmine between these 3 e-books - no filters, no premium versions to these ebooks... everything is out there FOR FREE, for you to read and execute the process yourself! All we are doing in these ebooks is sharing our experience of applying for PR ourselves / structuring and pointing you in the right direction via various different resources that are available on IRCC's official website. The TH-cam channel will compliment the e-book and add some personality and entertainment to the entire process :-)
Volume 1: Step by step express entry process from know nothing about immigration all the way to getting an invitation to apply (ECA, IELTS etc). Download here - www.potatotalkies.com/
Volume 2: Post ITA express entry process - documentation, samples, POF, Proof of work, medical, biometrics all the way to getting a stamped passport ;-) Download here - www.potatotalkies.com/
Volume 3: Alternate ways of moving to canada | Provincial Nominee program - OINP, AINP, MPNP, NSNP, SINP, RNIP and more. Download here - www.potatotalkies.com/

I’ve read somewhere that if we don’t have an address to give for the PR card, we can ask the officials not to mail it and instead we can pick it up from the Service Canada office ourselves.

    I have 3 counter suggestions:
    1. We should open the bank account in branch near to our permanent residence as we get free locker with the account and locker should be easily assissble. And if we apply for the locker later it will be chargeable.
    2. It is not necessary to take air bnb near Toronto downtown. I suggest it should be at any gta city downtown. In my case, I booked one opposite to mall in brampton so everything was just across the road and toronto bnb are expensive.
    3. If u guys are okay, then u can get 2nd hand furniture, home appliances, crockery free of cost from furniture bank which is a govt organization. One should not buy much before moving to permanent resident or get a job. I did the same... costly things I took from furniture bank and still using it and planning to keep it until I move to my own house. Naya ghar... Naya furniture

Do not forget to bring Driver License Extract and original driver license from India so that you are able to save on auto insurance once you get full license after clearing road test. Auto insurance will eat away lot of money especially if you are planning to move to GTA.

for PR card mailing address, rent a Canada post box in Canada post office anywhere they have. It is a good idea, if u dont have any relatives.

How do we rent a post box before landing In Canada. Do you mean, initially we should give the address of our airbnb and later change it to the post box number???

    • @nazaraliawazi7668
      @nazaraliawazi7668 2 ปีที่แล้ว

that can also be possible too and i suggest you for more clear instruction and procedure, u should call Canada post for more clear instruction about postal box. they have toll free numbers.

I guess in the long run BMO offer is expensive... because RBC has the same offer and may be other banks too... because the monthly banking fees in bmo is $16 ans rbc charges $10 for the same type of account... so eventually bmo will be expensive if u choose to keep your account in bmo for future...this clearly my take...

I cannot stay in basement, because I need sunlight and brightness in my room, and short term rental condos arent available and whatevr is available in budget are long term. So can we can give one month notice, even if we are on long term?

    Hi,
Currently I'm doing M.sc (distance) and at the same time doing job.
So my question is that, will CIC accept distance M.sc and same time job experience for Express Entry?
