We don't like immigration agents - the ones' that aren't authorized by ICCRC and qualified to help you with your application in exchange for money - first of all, it's not legal to do that, and second of all, it's so easy that you don't really need paid help! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and moved to Canada 3 days before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent and unauthorized immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of NOTHING; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. Great video as always, windy is part and parcel of life in Canada so you guys will experience many windy days. Also not to point fingers or something just for awareness purpose, Eskimo is a derogatory word in Canada for Inuits just like the N word. They prefer the term Inuit or Inupiaq or Inuk. Eskimo is not that well known as a derogatory term for Inuits outside of Canada but it is one. Thank you.
Fun Fact: Nunavut is the only territory or province in Canada that is Inuit majority at 85%. Cheers!

One more thing, you need Weathertec Floor Mats for the winter (and rainy) season... Otherwise chances of getting mould in normal mats and floor carpet...

One thing I've learnt living in Moscow is never buy shoes with inner fleece. First of all, you'll feel terrible when you go anywhere indoors. It'll be very uncomfortable. Secondly, because of perspiration, the fleece absorbs it and the shoe starts smelling after some time. You'll also need a boot dryer.

@@SRI-uw5hl Yes, but it's not WESs fault.. They need to receive documents from the university which in my case is the reason for the delay.. I think once WES receives all the necessary documents, they will give the results within 35 days

1. Dont go for cheap winter jacket and boots otherwise you have to buy another one after 2 years.
2. Buy air pump for your tire. In winter tire gets deflated frequently. No need to get nitrogen.
3. Get a jumper cable or portable starter. In cold battery dies and you might get stuck in cold deathbed!
4. Get a road side assistance membership in winter.
5. Winter tires dont have TPMS. get a tire pressure gauge just to be on safe side.

So both of you will need scarves 🧣 preferably Merino wool if you are walking...it reduces the cold at least by 25%. In your last video I had seen you bought winter tires but not the rims again I suggest you to buy normal steel rims as it protects your rims from salt and it’s easier and cheaper to change your tires in the future.
You might consider buying another jacket which would be somewhere around the mid way between your snow jacket and hoodie, usually if it is isn't windy and the temperature is around 0, it's more comfortable to wear that!
Also, if you are into sports buying a pair of waterproof sports shoes is amazing!

It also need to clean the salt which stuck beneath the car and you need to clean that with snow asap. It causes more rust than normal snow.

If possible go and read my earlier comment it states that your car is two wheel drive and it's gonna skid on ice with or without traction control so does it make sense to buy 4WD to get better grip on 🌨️❄️ snow

Guys can u make a video on India vs Canada purely on basis of job, salary. For eg if someone in India is having a family income of 3.5 lacs p.m. + good corporate health insurance + good well settled job for past 15 years, having a PR... Should such family should that family come and settle in Canada.
We have talked about this in several videos... you can't compare your india salary with what you get here. If you are coming here to earn money, you will be disappointed.. come here for a better lifestyle and you will be happy

I have old age parents who i live with, in Delhi. Two sisters who are married in Delhi. They keep visiting us and we keep visiting them many times during the year. I have a high paying IT job in Delhi. My only dilemma is leaving my parents , my sisters , my brother-in-laws here and moving to foreign country like US and Canada. It seems i am not strong enough to forget them and move on. On the other hand, i see pollution issues every year during October-November. Parking woes wherever you go except Malls because of hug population. Unplanned market places (except Connaught place and central Delhi which are well planned and beautiful), Unplanned and poor colonies even near posh areas and you get their view when driving on certain flyovers. What should i do ? stay back in India or move to US or Canada ?

Sahi padke..mask is good option. Even ear muff gives good protection, for car tyre inflator , jumper kit and emergency kit is also must, incase you get stuck in snow.

I'd recommed not to use that snow brush on your new car as it causes a lot of scratches. Instead use a foam brush which you can easily get from Canadian Tire. Also Winter Matts are a must!

Another nice video both! However I was wondering why you had to put de-icer in your new car. The washer liquid comes in by default / standard in cars in Canada? I just bought a new Elantra and they advised antifreeze and de-icer comes in as standard?

I love your videos. You may not need the leg warmers unless you are walking a lot as once you go indoors you start to feel warm. The windshield fluid you can also buy at Costco, 4 pack for 11$. Scarves can cover your face and that has worked best for me in the last 8 years and you get immunity to this cold the longer you stay in Canada. Hahaha.. Congratulations on your new home too.
