Thanks for your video. My husband & I have just returned to Australia after 10 weeks at the Mykonos, which was on your video. We can highly it. The staff are great, the pool, which you usually have to yourself if fantastic and the it's so close to everything. An extra bonus is that's it's 2 minutes walk to the beach. Our 2 bedroom unit did have a washing machine (I know what you mean). We will be back for 3 months from July 24, then we make the full move there in Feb 25.
Oh that's AWESOME! I'm happy to hear you had a good experience at the Mykonos! Thank you for sharing your experience 😊 hopefully your move goes smoothly! Thank you again for sharing.... and YES....a washer! 🤣🤣
Hey there! Yes, they are reasonable for sure. I do find airbnb getting out of hand with the prices for places no matter where you stay in the world, it's just not what it used to be! Thank you for your feedback! 👍
I agree, laundry is on my must have list. Traveling over three weeks with no access to laundry is not fun. The traditional thai mattresses are back killers. Im currently staying in La Habana for a week.
Yeah, I mean we COULD have our laundry done for us....I just prefer to do my own (that's just a me thing) Many people are happy to have their laundry done for them 👍 enjoy your stay!
Thanks for this. I liked the blue condo. Some of the pricing for long term rent was really good. Having a washing machine has its drawbacks too. You still have to dry your clothes. I prefer to just pay B40 per kg and have someone else do it. Some of the bed coverings are odd - I think you can tell when the owner has lived in the apartment or really thought about the design/amenities such as lamps, fans, crockery etc. the other thing I have found is the pools look lovely, but they are not really deep enough for 'proper' swimming, more for kids and splashing around. The 'lip' at the front door is part of the building standard like in a bathroom - stops water flooding into the hallway if there's a burst pipe. Just have to remember to step over it rather than trip on it. Yes, Thais' love a firm mattress.
You are welcome! And I totally agree about how you can tell if the owner lives there or not, some just aren't equipped. Thank you so much for watching, it's very much appreciated 😊
Great video. Very informative and helpful. We love Hua Hin and visit twice a year (have stayed at the Marvest, very nice and modern). Just subscribed to your channel and look forward to your future vids, hopefully HH based 👍
This was so informative! Thanks! I'm looking forward to move in Thailand, and this video totally caught me. PS I assume the leap at the door's entrances is to prevent unwanted guests? Totally fine by me!

Hi there! 👋 thanks for your feedback! Many condos if not all in my 2 condo videos rent on a monthly basis (it will just be higher per month). I really liked la casita and marvest.... close to everything you need! Hope that helps! 👍
Hi , interesting video , my Thai partner and I are looking to relocate to hua hin long term , may I please ask , when you mentioned that the condo didn't have laundry, did you mean the condo itself or where there no communal facilities in the building? Thanks
What is general cost of utilities and is wifi included? if not, what is the cost? do these places have nearby markets to purchase food? any other costs that i need to be aware off? i am considering a 6 month visit to hua hin..tks
Hi there. WIFI and Utilities are almost never included with a long stay, those would be extra. Utilities usually cost around $70-$80CAD per month for water and electricity combined. Each place is given a map location for you to see the general area. Those that are central are close to everything. Have fun in Hua Hin. 👍
Have you ever thought of asking the person showing you round if the owner would install a washing machine? It would be paid for by one or two weeks rent. Great comparison videos! 👍+1 One of our favourite things about Thailand is getting ALL our laundry done by someone else 🙏.
Hi there. Owners are very accommodating but asking them to install a washing machine seems like a lot..... but maybe it's not? And yes, some people love having their laundry done for them.... that's just not me. 🤣🤣

Hi there! We've only ever come to Thailand via tourist visa and have never had an issue signing a lease whether it's 1,2 or 3 months..... heck, you can buy a condo on a tourist visa! Thailand doesn't make it easy to stay long term tho.... that's our struggle right now, it's either boarder runs (jumping out of Thailand for a period of time), getting a long term visa whether it's learning visa, retirement visa but then over 180 days you'll have to pay tax..... it's not favorable 🙄 they got ya at every angle! 😭
Hi there! Thanks for the suggestion, we are currently in Vietnam taking a break from condo visits for now! 👍 but when we go back I hope to do more....! 👍

Hi there! We use Safetywing as our insurance for now, while we still travel. When we first started traveling beginning of 22, before we left Canada we basically signed a form( to ask permission to the government) to maintain our health insurance while we were gone for 2 years, so if we were gone for more than 6 months and returned to back to Canada our Canadian health care would still be in place (in not sure how many times you can do that) anyways, that will expire Jan 24 so we will no longer have Canadian health care. When we come back to Canada it will be reinstated after 3 months(with proof of residence) than you for watching! Sorry it's Chilly in Toronto!
