  • This week's Tuesday's Talks, Tips, and Tricks is all about supporting you child who may be a late talker. In this video you will learn strategies such as tactile cues (such as tapping), using carrier phrases, repetition/simplification, recasting/expansion, parallel talk, and self talk! There is even a special feature at the end of the video where our SLP, Laura, puts these strategies into action! You don't want to miss out!
Does your child need further support with language development? Fill out our inquiry form for a free consultation! If you are concerned with late talking, please visit our website for our developmental checklist, blog, and other therapy resources!

Our three year old granddaughter does not use conversational speech at all.
Her parents are glued to their cellphones to even care😡😡

i don't understand why she is concealing her mouth???, this would be confusing to a child who is a late talker because she is wearing a mask, she is using hand gestures and talking clearly but wearing a mask could impose another issue, people look at peoples mouths some of the time for annunciating words and distributing the sound, couldn't she have put a clear mask on for the therapy????? just my thoughts

😢I do all this regularly, still no functional communication with my kiddo. I would be over the moon if he spoke the way the child did in the video.

Is it normal for a 27 month old to not be able to repeat anything?

You should redo the video without the mask.
