Unfortunately, the proprietary route won out and Woz was stiff armed to the sidelines. I love Steve Wozniak, the way he is both skeptical and candid about features and the Apple strategy. That's what makes him such an amazing guy to listen to.

He is by far one of the most genuine people in business and tech I’ve witnessed. I’ve appreciated his honesty for years. He should be a bigger part of Apple or still be a part of Apple. The company would be better with him in it.

The problem is that Woz never wanted to be in a managerial role. He always just wanted to be an engineer (and a teacher). He’s still technically an employee of Apple (he gets a small salary) so it’s a little strange they don’t at least consult with him on some things.
I can tell they’ve already been using Ai. Before an update, the suggested words were on par with what I was typing, it predicted what I wanted 95% of the time, but after, it’s like my phone became an idiot. It keeps suggesting things that makes absolutely no sense.
