- Finally my studio apartment tour!! I live in a studio apartment in Chicago with my boyfriend. This is my second studio so my channel is here to bring you tips, tricks and organization to help you figure out how to live in a studio apartment. A tip for anyone looking for a similar couch: the Ikea friheten couch! It is pretty much the same as your couch, it is in an L shape but pulls out into a bed for two peope and it also has storage for guest bedding and such.
Yes!!! I personally don't find that one as comfortable, but if you can't find the one I have that is a great option.

It''s nice to see something new like the old style/ neon light sign/Indian rug .(I could go on lol) used in this studio's decorating. I been watching apartment tours and bedroom make overs and it seems like everyone is doing the same thing! It's so refreshing to see something new! Love it!

I must say you are very entertaining 😂😂😂. I’ve laughed at about 3 or 4 things you’ve said. And your tour is great. You’re going into detail, but not like loooonggg drawn out detail where you get bored like other apartment/home tours. I love that I feel like you’re just showing us how you make the most use of your space.
ALSO! Love your couch. My fiancé and I have a couch just like it in gray from IKEA. Best decision ever; it has the storage on the chaise, and then pulls out into a queen size bed. We’re moving into a studio in June so it’ll be perfect for guests. Many of our friends have already slept on it multiple times in our old apartment, and they love it. We sleep on it a lot too lmao even though we have a king size bed.

Caira Button man I swear! Fun fact this was our LAST RESORT couch. Can you believe it?? It’s because I was wanting to make him happy. He always wanted a sectional with recliner. Girl 😩, we was about to spend $2-3k at Value City, but I kept telling him I wanted a let out couch. Had 3 options set online, 2 sectionals and the IKEA couch. Went to IKEA, and fell in love! Til this day, we’re like “best decision ever” “most prized possession” “wtf were we thinking not getting this!” Lmao and it was only $620 after taxes.

Love your apartment! I would put a simple tension rod with sheer curtains up to section off your bedroom. Even if I like the openness of the bedroom not having its own wall I’d have curtains and leave them open a little. It looks pretty and can be easy, quick privacy when you want it.
That is definitely a good (and easy) way to separate spaces!!

I love how plants purify the air in the apartment. The washer in the closet is important. I love how the closet provides clothes and edu area, also. You are fortunate to have extra space to create a bedroom. Nice compact studio. Love the couch with bed pullout and storage, too. Thanks for sharing.

Aw, I miss Chicago! I used to live there & I lived in a studio apartment too!!! Mine was nice, but it didn't have a washer & dryer or a dope ass smeg fridge! But it was cute & I miss it. I loved living in Chicago. Your apartment is awesome!

Really like it! 💕💕💕💕 This is the kind of apartment and tour I like. I’m so over the over saturated with urban outfitters straight out of the catalog like just super all about image and money. I’m not saying your place looks inexpensive, I’m just commenting on the majority of apartment tour vids out there and that they’re all similar. To me yours stands out as different and I live that. Still very sheik and bright and functional but also homey and inviting, not cold like the rest of ‘em! Anyways, thanks❤️👏🏻💯💕

Cute. I'd prob put the chalk board on the side of the fridge to free up space for some kitchen shelves. And I'd put the huge plant in the basket somewhere else as it makes the room look smaller.

Such a great space, everything is used so efficiently. Love the Smeg fridge, but the freezer looked tiny. Does your washer/dryer unit vent to the outside? I've heard if they don't it takes a long time to dry the clothes.
Everything you said is spot on lol. The Smeg fridge is great but the freezer is the SMALLEST. And I never knew that about the washer/dryers but ours must not have one because it takes forever to dry clothes.

Love your space! I live in a studio in Chicago with my boyfriend too! It's just one medium sized room, but the apt has really high ceilings and a huge walk in closet. We're looking at moving when the lease is up because its a little too small. I really liked the loft apartments that you talked about in another one of your videos. Do you mind sharing the leasing company/location of that building?
That's awesome! Our place has high ceilings too which definitely makes a HUGE difference. The loft one was at The Ardus owned by the Flats. It is in River North. I live at a different Flats building and seriously love it so freaking much.

Hi! We had a two bedroom house so downsizing to a studio was definitely a challenge but doable. We love out little space now :) VIPKID is great!! It's LOUD. Like very very very loud. And it can take about 5 hours for a load from start to finish. But all the same, the amount of space it saves is totally worth it!

The island I got used off of Facebook marketplace, but I believe it originally came from wayfair. The dish rack is from Amazon and it is the best!!
