Words can’t explain how happy I am for you Caira! I’ve been watching you for as long as I can remember and always thought you were so underrated. Your content is so unique, interesting and enjoyable! I never understood why you were stuck on just over 3k for so long. For some reason, your videos stopped coming up in my recommended so I didn’t see your videos for quite a while. I randomly remembered you and looked up your channel and realized I hadn’t watched any of your videos in the past five months 😭 Imagine my surprise when I saw you had 12k now! Same! The new developments tend to lack any character, and I've found the finishes pretty cheap once you look closely. Love vintage!
Yes I VERY(!!!!!) much like this video. Thank you. I might need you this summer. If you could do more of these that would be nice. Smaller is better, think under 150sqft. That might be micro? Also SRO's would be interesting. Chiago used to have lots of those but don't know if they still do.

Oh my this was good information. I'm about to be in the process of finding a new place. I've done it in the past and every place I've founds sucked, but I didn't know things I know now. Including I could get help. I thought you only could get help finding homes. My next place needs to not me window unit ac.

Do you recommend visiting Chicago before moving countries or do you think it's alright to get everything arranged remotely and then moving before starting classes? thank you in advance!!
I understand that the two months free make the apartments under $1300 a month, what happens when the lease runs out and the rent jumps $200+ a month? Also, when you're touring apartments you need to spend more time in them as the 30 second blips don't show you anything. And despite the windows in these apartments, they are way, way too dark.

What is the square footage on each of these?
I live in Chicago and my lease is up at the end of July and want to look more downtown. So I love these videos to start getting a list of must haves/preferred haves and different areas. Of course, by then no one will know what pricing is, but I never knew a leasing agent was free for the customer so I will definitely be reaching out closer around June/July.
They vary but between 300 - 550 sq ft! I will try and include that in the future!

Asked for this help and contrary to zillow and apartments.com was told nothing was in this price point? so I guess the season matters and if you can go out and look yourself it’s better than a leasing agent ✨

I've been lived in NJ for a few months for my ESL class. Next year I've plan to come to Chicago to get my Graduate Degree. Do you know where is the place that you can find an affordable house? Moved to Chicago in 2012 and lived witha friend on the Northside for 3 months while looking for a place. If you are looking for bigger spaces and free car parking, go Southside. Even better find an independent landlord like I did and you can avoid rent increases every year or two.
This was really nice. Could you PLEASE(!!) talk a bit slower?
I WANT(!!!!) to see more of these, especially the less than 250ft, 100ft(???). I have lived in SRO's, so I am not afraid of small. (Yes, I know I have dated myself as I think Chicago, like all the other big cities has done away with SRO's but they used to have them.)
Please make more of these, please. Also could you explain the different neighborhoods, and show public transportation near any apartments you talk about.

Now the other apartments you showed which were so freakin cute 🙂 but you never said where they were located , you told the location for the others but the ones more budget friendly u did not say what location of the city their in 🙂🙂. Loved the video! I’m moving to Chicago in June from Phoenix. Super excited. How hard is it to find a rental without a job? I work as a restaurant manager and will be doing the same in Chicago, but I wanted to take my time in finding the perfect fit once I get there. I have good credit and money in the bank. I would love to work with you once I get there!
Apartments will require you to have some sort of income to be approved!
