@@lucian7182 I just bought the car, 0 miles, I got the 4 oil changes up to 24k miles from the dealer so I would take it every 6k miles to do the oil change. But according to everyone else, oil changes should be done every 3k to 4K miles on an STI. Either it was just engine failure or my failure to not do oil change every 3k miles
nate chave it sounds like you didn’t check the oil at all in between changes. That wouldn’t be horrible on a typical 2021 vehicle however on a performance car that’s no bueno. My 21 sti consumes half a quart in 16-1800 miles if I don’t add any by my 3k oil change I’m almost a quart low which is within normal parameter for this car. I don’t know your car personally but it would make sense that your car ran about 2 quarts low on oil for however long before it popped.
@@lucian7182 you are correct, I've been hearing from other sti videos that the 2021 sti shouldn't be burning oil but I guess I shoukdve still checked. But less on learned. I just got the update it'll be ready in 2 weeks and now oil changes every 3 or 3500 with bi-weekly oil checks bcuz I do run it a lot. It's my daily. I've already put 22k in 9 months
What is the expected longevity of a block like this ? I’m assuming the internals will need to be inspected and refreshed every 20k miles or so? Assuming it’s being pushed and raced .

That's a completely different block, no, you can't turn any stage of any degree into a Stage X ( Billet Block )
