Come on all you guys that have hated on him in the comments. He has added the sugar and butter in proportion to 600gms of rolled oats. As per the ingredients assuming you'd have 50gms of rolled oats per day that's 2.5 gms sugar/day. If you don't like that go ahead and substitute to various sugar alternatives. The guy's just sharing what worked for him and suddenly everyone's the expert. Each one's weight loss journey is different. And unless you can do any better keep the negativity to yourself.

Only use organic oats. The amount of glyphosate in a bowl of commonly used instant oats (you know the brand) is off the charts. What is glyphosate? It's the pesticide that is used on nearly all grains. I just purchased a case of Nature's Path instant oats. it has glyphosate but at low levels. The stuff everyone buys at the supermarket has 800 times more glyphosate

  • @The-Hungry-Glut

    This is a nice recipe.
You can turn the oats into a bar by sprinkling little water to moisten when it freshly out of the oven and mix it
Then use clean films to mould the oats into sausages and later give a rectangular shape.
And yum energy bar whenever you require 😆

People criticising use of butter and sugar don't realise that body needs fat too. Coke has it, sugar and almonds have it too, but the latter won't harm your body, taken in right limit. Rather good fat is great source of energy.

Indeed. But one must take them under proper regulation, if they do not feel like missing them. Ideally, it would be better to eat very less amount of processed sugar, fats, meat, dairy products etc by consuming more food with naturally available sugar (fruits) or jaggery/'quality' honey, fat (peanuts) and so on. More natural and very less processed.

I'm an oats lover anyway - and I am also a fan of this chef. I tried to make homemade sweetened condensed milk according to his recipe and it worked perfectly. Now I'm so glad watching this video and remembering that my love for oats is not so bad. I also realised that eating oats makes me feel full in a nice way and I had some kgs less when I was eating them whenever I felt like having a snack instead of a chocolate bar or something like that. Walking, Yoga, oats - it's simple and it works.

That's healthy and still, it is quite dry. In the morning the body needs hydration. The best way to hydrate it is by using raw fruits and vegetables first (celery sticks, cucumber, apple, orange, mango, tomato...), then you can have cereals or chapati made with atta flour or also some dal. Try to avoid nuts (they contain a lot of fat and calories) but use 1 Tbsp ground flax seeds for good omega 3 fats and minerals.
When we consume food that contains oil, sugar and salt, the brain cannot stop eating. We eat more because it's not natural. In fast food oil and salt or butter and sugar are often combined and that makes our brain confused and addicted. However, we can all stop when eating natural food like apples, mangos etc. and don't have negative effects. Most people consume too little vegetables and too many refined carbohydrates (white rice, white noodles, white bread, white sugar...).

The better option for me is Oats omelet.. or oats dosa.. or green gram dosa also called as pisarattu in Andhra.. or just skip breakfast with only fruits and directly go to lunch...

Hey Yaman why don't you promote healthy eating with your channel.. You can change the perception of your audience and it would help our generation who are only after cheese, cheese and cheese.

My Cooking Diaries Yes, chef had a whole series on TH-cam featuring Horlick Oats and recipes to use them with. I think that any oats would do the trick though.

Why are you asking what brand like it matters? Any oats are good. Though, the less processed the better. For example, choose Oat Groats or Old-Fashioned Oats (aka Rolled Oats) as opposed to Instant Oats.
