I haven't seen one person mention turning the jacket inside out before you do that. If you like the finish and you like the logo, you better turn it inside out
Imo a lot garments actually have more friction being turned in on themselves . Proceed with caution

@@Kevthebishuh, gore Tex with seam tapes? You would logically want the heavier nylon fabric designed to be against harsh conditions to be on the outside and the softer, more fragile seam tapes held with glue to not have as much friction, right?
i gotta do this before the ski season starts some of the dwr on my jacket needs reactivating

I’ve never once washed any rain gear and I’ve had 3 of them over 20 years. 2 Patagonias and a Mountain Hardware. All were 3-layer.. I wonder if that had anything to do with it. I’d clean the exterior from time to time with a wet rag but other than that they just stayed nice. I eventually upgraded each more due too I’ve gotten at least five years out of them and I can upgrade and give to worn wear and someone else can use them another decade.
Bro got the generic beko dryer every uk household has. It drys clothes tho so cant complain
Dry in the sun is a no no isnt it ? It will ruin the synthetic materials faster ?

How do you clean nylon waterproof bags? Mine is color being and my dog put some dirt on it. I tried looking for videos online but I haven't found any. 😔

Yeah I've done a couple before and it's been totally fine, so long as you're not overloading the machine (same with any other clothes) it's all good

How do you get wrinkles and creases out of a goretex jacket?
Get a damp towel and put over the creases then iron over top , just quickly at a time don’t over do it , the heat helps reactivate the goretex water resistance as well , just be careful

Yes no more than 3 items at a time don’t wash at the same time as down jackets they need a separate wash

wait 600 hundred? was that supposed 6 hours or 600 minutes? seconds?
600 is the spin - I presume it's rpm but not totally sure. It's the second-lowest spin setting on my machine, with 400 being the lowest. There is a 'no spin' option but I've found doing that leaves the jacket totally soaked and they take forever in the dryer. The total time for the cycle was just under an hour
