I'm a year late buuuut says the auto for the 05-10 cars can work with the coyote? I still think i need to swap to a manual anyway but if auto works with it might do that. It'll cut down on cost
Dude this puts a huge smile on my face! About a year ago, I built a 3-2-1 Frankenstein coyote for my 2014 mustang gt. My car only had 38k on the odometer... After striking a deal with Ken, Dover and Caleb, we swapped the engine and at Dover's shop. My original engine was purchased and in fact lives on in this car! Thanks Caleb for making my day.

I love that 05-09 body style but don’t care about the power plant lol. I still want to get a 05-09 and coyote swap it. And slowly turn it into a race car

I remember older mustangs getting swapped for EFI HO 5.0, fox bodies 2V swaps, and fox bodies, SN95, and new edge 3V swaps. If/when coyotes get replaced they will be swapped out for the newer engine, it’s a never ending cycle.
I still love the 05 to 09 Stangs. I so want to do a Coyote swap in one even if I found a super cheap V6 model with a manual. Great job on the swap.
I'm doing this on a 2005 Mustang GT here in a few months. Its going to be a 3-1-1 swap. Gen 3 bottom end, Gen 1 heads/cams, probably a 6r80 swap as well. Its probably going to be nuts. Already have a 2018 intake manifold for it. Just need better cams. Paid about $2000 for the block, heads/cams because they were out of F150's.

I’m just waiting for the right car and some money... My 91 T-Bird and my 72 Pinto half-hatch can’t fit the Coyote. Maybe the 91 Bird, but not without possibly losing the ABS.

Main reason I got rid of my 08 , no power . Along with a front end that had a rattle I couldn’t get rid of .
Yeah its hard to get excited about a 3V, but damn if this doesn't change all that

I was looking into a new edge but i really prefer the s197, my uncle had an 07 GT and when he went to jail, i actually held onto it for about a year and absolutely LOVED that car. It was pretty cool to have a GT premium when i was like 18-19 haha.
Save yourself the time money and headache and drop a kenne bell in it and get more bang. Don't say can't do it cuzz I did it. As for no gorse power, every 5 or so years the mustang has upped the power
Sn95s didn't have 300. So the lost love for the s197 is unknowing , unfactual. These s197s are the best looking and handle on a road course, I know I tracked mine and she's Mcnasty. All stands are what u make them. You add power they ask for more and the s197 power plant is a hulk. It will take a beating. It's not a piece of junk like a Mopar. Bottom line you get out of them what you put in them, any stang fits that M.O. gotta love all stands if your a stang fan period. Even the fox bodies , sn95s, s197s, 550s love them all for their own reasons. Long love the stang
