- Hot Shot Secrets vs AMSOIL diesel all-in-one anti-gel fuel additive and -50° C.
This test shows how the anti-gel properties of these diesel fuel additives perform at extremely cold temperatures which will allow the diesel truck to still start up. Untreated diesel fuel will freeze solid and will need to stranded so it's very important to run these additives if you are going somewhere cold.
I personally recommend the AMSOIL diesel all-in-one because it makes a huge difference in power and a fuel mileage and will allow your fuel system to last longer the filter and the injectors while keeping your compression because of the lubricant that lubricates the rings. Hot shots seems to pour more smooth. Amsoil looks clumpy
Should do your test by weight not measuring spoons. I think weight is more accurate.
You also have to remember that each one had the same amount added when one treats more than double the amount my guess is if he did two and four they would’ve been about the same either way for the price difference I’d personally choose the hot shots however most oils I get are amsoil best I’ve used so far
probably because its more concentrated, and he use the same amount of both.

What would you estimate the rear wheel horsepower difference is on your vehicle?
I think you'd be very surprised if you tried a case of 16 oz bottles not diesel injector clean plus eating boost the green bottle it's amazing how much power you'll see and you'll notice how much quieter It sounds unless vibration 🪙

I'd like to have seen the amsoil additive increased since the hot shots is 3x stronger by the label. I do use amsoil products though and like them.

I use the Amsoil on a 1981 Mercedes 2.4d. What has helped has been using a diesel purge like Liqui Moly.
What is a diesel purge?
I've seen quick shot or something like that in the amsoil website. What is that for?
That one's for small engines like push mowers and all different types of generators It cleans the valves injectors carbon deposits in the combustion chamber It also has a stabilizer in it which is great if you let your equipment sit

Nice video bud.. is it harmful if I add too much fuel injector cleaner.. lets say 16 oz injector cleaner to 21 gallon diesel?? Thanks
At a certain point it just wouldn't do any better so basically adding too much would just be a waste of money but I personally like to run 1 16 oz bottle in a full tank of diesel as a maintaining dose on a pickup truck most of those trucks are 36 gallons and then running a heavy clean up those would be 2 16 oz bottles in a full tank of diesel so basically at that ratio you'd be right in between a clean up dose and a maintaining dose which you'll just notice it will run really strong you'll make a lot more power a lot smoother and you'll have a lot better engine braking because of the upper cylinder lubricant💯

You can put it in whenever it's cold out that's what that one specifically built for it is for the freezing conditions if you're running in the summer I personally like the injector clean plus he came boost the best that's the 16 oz green bottles you can order them off my website and you will get them at the best value as the preferred customer you would want to run that every full tank as a maintainer to keep the pump injectors upper cylinders lubricated and keep everything running optimally and then every few thousand miles around 3,000 it's a good idea to do a heavy heavy clean up dose👍

Hey great question I would do an Amsoil engine flush also a bottle of themselves PI performance improver and a bottle of the or should I say can of the power foam that cleans the inside of the motor.

I know it’s not recommended but I use diesel all in one in my 21 Corolla the lubricity really helps with fuel injectors, fuel pump and top end lube

Good is good best is best and that's what I always share with everyone on the channel it's all about choosing the right fluids to increase the performance and lifespan of your vehicles and I always like to give the best advice for everybody.
Did you know a oil manufacturer can call a lubricant a Full Synthetic when it's only 25% synthetic? That bottle of hot shot says that it treats 125 gallons and the Amsoil said it treats 40 gallons.

You way over treated the Hot Shot according to the label. Should be .125 oz or .75 teaspoon per 1 gal fuel.

You put in same amount but at beginning said hotshots was double concentrated. So didn’t put correct recommended amounts
Correct we were just seeing what would happen if you put about the same amount just to see the reaction.
Why did you use the same amount of each addictive, when you should have been using more Amsoil. I uae the Amsoil all in one and really like it
That's a good question some of the videos I use the exact treat ratio other ones I used the exact same amount just to see the results just for a example of how the Chemicals React didn't really have any specific locked in needed to do specific announce I just wanted to show the chemical reaction of the products.
You'll see we have some other fluid examples where we did a little bit different ratio and others we did exactly one to one this is just for a comparison nothing super scientific is meant by these videos just to show exactly what they do with the exact amount shown in video😃☕️

That's a darn good question honestly I wouldn't know how to really measure that I did want to show performance in the cold and that was the objective of this video and they both did pretty darn good as far as which one gets better fuel mileage we've never done that test yet and I've done a lot of testing with personal customers vehicles with the diesel injector Clean Plus seating boost Amsoil and have seen huge power gains still looking for a diesel truck that has not used cleaners in the fuel that way we can show a cleanup and show the rear wheel horsepower difference I do highly recommend trying the green bottle that is my personal favorite.

You put in same amount but at beginning said hotshots was double concentrated(but it’s triple). So didn’t put correct recommended amounts
