You know I’m a hot shots man! That what I like the most is the amount you use because they don’t have all the fillers to make their products cheaper. It will be interesting to see the final results.
Had good results running it considering my setup. Once truck is regeared I know it will go up a little
I use Redline 15w-40 diesel oil in my 2019 Ram ecodiesel, Redline is a Group V Ester based synthetic oil. I have some Hot Shots Everyday additive and Power Service Diesel Kleen, the Diesel Kleen is recommenced by Cummins. I also have some of the Hot Shot Diesel Extreme additive as well.
I've used the Hotshot EDT for several years. Im always leery of "additives" but they had it on sale so i tried it and sure enough i noticed a difference in my MPG and throttle response, been hooked on it ever since. I use the Extreme twice a year as well. I'm pretty sure its a reason why I haven't had to take My Audi q7 tdi or my wifes Porsche Cayenne diesel in for a EGR or DPF cleaning. Im picking up my "new to me" 07 Ram Megacab 4wd DRW on sunday and will be putting EDT in that too..lol I do however love Amsoil motor oil and gear oil.

I've also been using hot shots products in my car 05 Ford escape and I my 2014 altima. Working out GREAT so for. Just did a fresh oil change on my 2000 trans am, looking forward to the results on that .

Fuel tank size on fords are 28-29 gallons for short bed trucks and 38 for long bed trucks. I have a 38 gallon tank on my single cab 6.0 and it was the same on my extended cab long bed 7.3.
Maybe they are bigger on single cabs cause I know my 06 6.0 king ranch had the 28 gal
Any short bed truck whether it’s crew cab or ext. cab has 28 and the long bed versions have 38. Idk if any other brand does that or not.
I use both Every Day Diesel and Amsoil All in One. But for the last 2 years mostly Every Day Diesel. It seems less expensive than Amsoil
I am also an Amsoil fan boy. I use all there products for years.
I just ordered 4 bottles of All In One and I will see if I like it better.
FYI For every one that has an intact diesel with full emissions...... If you do mostly city driving and especially if you spend a lot of time in traffic you are at extremely high risk of having a DPF issue.

Hotshot has a anti gel. That why you need more of the Amsoil. Anti gel always uses more product. Even hotshots.

Im a Amsoil guy but being i would need to use a hole bottle of Amsoil i went with Hotshots 36gal tank. 2oz hot shot. Hot shot 1oz per 25gal Amsoil 16oz per 40gal. Amsoil $11.35 (with membership). Hot Shot $17.95 . Hot shots works with 8 tanks compared to Amsoil 1 tank per bottle.
I agree so from a price stand point u get more bang for your buck through, hot shot and its just as effective in treatment.

Is your speedometer calibrated for your 37s? My 6 speed mega 5.9 isn’t and I usually can only get 325-350 miles out of a tank on my dash. I figure Speedo is off by 15% so I always multiply by 1.15. So maybe 375 actual miles. Crappy mpg.

Yes it is calibrated. Use your phone and download a speedometer app and run it while driving and compare difference. The phones uses your gps so it pretty accurate

I would just take your truck to a tire shop and ask them to recall your truck
Your engine will last longer and run better running the derringer from Gale Banks, plus it won't void your warranty because it doesn't rewrite your trucks computer.
Definitely not sure about making a engine last longer but it your right it won't void ur warranty

Amsoil marketing is so bad that my local NAPA refuses to jump through the hoops to become a “seller”. I have asked owner 3 times and he says it is not worth the fight. I am not buying a numbered vehicle. I don’t see a lottery system set up to buy Amsoil so stop making it impossible to get. I read this on blogs also from other potential customers on the internet.
It ain't bad everyone and their uncle can be a dealer of it. Stores don't want to carry it because all these reps would steal their business anyway. Was in their pyramid scheme years ago, and it is cut throat.

One thing to remember - Every single application (Diesel Engine / Driving Style - Habits / Basic Fuel Quality) will be different. So 99.3% of the applications could possibly see way different results.

I actually have and Schaeffer is some good stuff, but they dont have supporting documents and I watched a comparison video and amsoil beat them in lubricity and thermal breakdown.
@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL Their oil were previously not API certified. They have reformulated very recently and their bottles now have the API "donut" approval. Maybe you'll have to try them once more 👍
Amsoil won't use a bottle like Hotshots..Because Amsoil want everyone to use more of an inferior Product!!
Wow ur truck gets horrible fuel mileage is that a 5.9 or a 6.7 my 6.7 gets 19.8 to 22 around town and 28 to 30 hwy at 80 mph with the amsoil all in one 😎😎😎
6.7 my truck was also lifted and had 35 inch tires on 12 wide rim. Its not gonna get oem mileage like that, also it easy to get more mileage out of it if your feathering the pedal all day like a old ass man

“Super easy” to me means having it available at a brick and mortar store or available on Amazon for a drone delivery. Having to become a member of a site and paying an outrageous monthly/yearly fee is just not worth it. Again money is not an issue for the best but having to bust through roadblocks to get a simple product is like obtaining a doctorate degree in metallic atomic analysis.
If I need some oil and have not paid that months fee and I can’t get my product....this is an issue for me. Raise the price to equal the fee I don’t care as long as it is available when we need it. I shouldn’t have to dig a trench to have permission to buy what I have money to purchase. Amsoil....your marketing schemes are a FAIL!!
You dont have to pay the month fee? That is if you became a preferred customer and it's a annual fee. You can pay regular shelf cost off there website and that's it. Like I said man it isn't hard to access amsoil I highly encourage you to reach out to my dealer he can get you setup quickly and easily.
Yeah I bought Amsoil from their website and paid for the standard shipping. It was at my door the following day. Hard to beat that. No monthly fees. It would be nice if I could buy it locally if I needed a quart of oil in a pinch, but I just keep a spare quart around for emergencies.

🤔 Iv never had to add oil to my truck ever. You may want to get that checked out. Lol Coking dosnt happen with today's oils. They have detergents in them to keep that from happening. Coking is a old term. Amsoil is great oil don't get me wrong but Shell Rotella is just as good. You can go even further and add Hot shot friction reducer which is amazing. Amsoil is just a over priced oil in my eyes. Not that it's not good but their are oils that are the same for a lower price. Pretty much your just paying for a name.
i can see what your saying, so new oils do have detergents but where amsoil shines is the antiwear protection and boosted additives, they have actual testing and results showing there oil has better wear protection, cold flow features and detergents in there oil. Amsoil is the one of the only companies you don't have to add any additives to, unlike some companies. Rotella is a very good oil i actually use to run prior to switching to amsoil. It doesnt matter what diesel engine you have they all burn off some amount of oil. it may not be enough to where you have to add oil but it happens for sure. My truck doesn't burn oil to the point i have to add oil but they all do. I can go an entire oil change and still be in the good line. Hot shot is another brand that is very good due to them showing testing and dyno number with there products being ran like the FR3. Checkout amosil website they have tons of testing and results you can read. Another thing is amsoil oil is one of the few if not only brand i know of where you get extended intervals so instead of standard 7500 miles for a 08 6.7 cummins you get 14k. So you are acutally saving money because you are not changing your oil as often. I did oil analysis testing to see if this was true at 7500 miles and it got recommended for continued use. the base line oil sample additives were still the same if not super close to the post oil sample result. I respect your opinion and by no means and im saying your wrong, just giving you my opinion and results. checkout project farm on TH-cam he actually did a oil tournament and Penzoil and Amsoil made it to the finals, then amsoil won. His videos are truly unbiased and he shows no favoritism.
