If this boss guide feels far more to the point than usual, it's cause this video actually had about 5-6 minutes cut from it! I had showcased more than one fight with the Queen of Spring but they really didn't add much to the overall discussion really so It was cut on the editing floor. If you are curious, I showed *-again-* how fossil fragments can be abused to wall her and her babies off to make the fight even easier and then had a segment with Winona's catapults. Both of these methods have been shown off by me before so I found them redundant and left them out!
Furthermore, I went into more detail on how to obtain some of the materials needed to craft some of the items AND even skipped over preparation for her. I have done over 70 videos, many of which are on the many bosses in this game, and every one of them has this information in it. So, if you haven't learned the basics of preparation by now you either haven't watched my stuff or haven't been paying attention, and you better cause I really won't be doing it from now on unless I need to.

She was dead by the last hit of the ham bat though :( would have been epic if it was a punch though. Last two damage hits were identical, and the last one came before the ham bat slipped out of your hand.

And the frog rain usually pour after the Moose/Goose has laid egg so they actually can kill each other
That sounds really useful.
The moose goose babies also like to eat your berries if you have a farm and they settled near it. Found that out the hard way.
I dont bother with fighting the goose. I just wait for the frog rain and let them do the work for me.
Its also a easy extra food source
I use the Beefalo to my advantage. It works better when they are mating.
Considering spiders as killers to the goose
that sounds like a fine strategy.
I do the same but with all the ponds next to each other
i remember i was walking around one day in dst and 4 different moose goose (meese geese?) spawned as i was walking, one of the most horrifying experiences i have had as a new player

You can easily find rocks mostly in the dragonfly desert and rocky biomes

You have to kill the dragonfly with your fist to get rocks.
You actually have to go in the caves during earthquakes without armor to get them rocks.

I got the 4 nest cluster set piece before I had ever made it to spring. Didn't know moosegeese existed. I made my base in the middle of them.
What happened? I'm in late winter and I made the same mistake.

so yeah i've started playing don't starve together like a week ago and now i'm panicking because 2 days after winter ended i left to get some wood and there were 2 goose moose eggs laying right next to my base
Me and my friend didnt know the twigs on the ground were nesting sites and two of them spawned and laid their eggs right in the middle of our base. That was an interesting start to spring...(we won though)

Yesterday I based right one top of 3 sights and before that spring had never seen moose goose, then found 3 when I came back to my base

I made a large base (that I was pretty proud of) through the starting days and through winter only to learn (from this video) that there were 3 goose/moose spawns in the middle of the base....... GREAT!!! (sarcasm)

Random Moose spawned in the first week of the spring on the field of beehives. It was killing the bees and destroyed 3-4 hives before bees killed it. It didn't even raise the eggs so I got only a few feathers that were not enough for a luxury fan. I was really disappointed, but happy in the same time that it won't come to my base (He spawned really close to it) and destroy my chests and stuff.

I cheesed moose goose and the moslings in a few minutes with frog rain
yeah that almost never happen to me, either i was too far or too busy with other tasks and never abused this

I accidentally made my base near the multi nests and didn't realize it until too late.
I jus saw a giant egg didn’t know what it was made a camp the to see what was going to happen

hunted my first ones at the same time as your release... used frog rain to deal with them... found out I hate frog rain :S had so many of them during spring :S
I had 3 moose goose spawn next to my base. Never thought I would get them killed and I was right, because when frog rain came, I got 3 stacks of 40 frog legs, 2 stacks of meat and a bunch of those chicken wing things (most of it was because a moose goose tried to fight a huge beefalo herd and because I was next to pig king and got most of the pigs killed and because of the baby moose goose) and had to make 2 ice boxes to hold all of the food. Frog rain is still happening and I'm on day 54 it started on around day 51 or 50 I got it recorded but I probably got how much food I got wrong
How do you deal with the nesting site setpiece cus there's so many moslings
I had that set piece spawn but it was 3 of them D: the worst part was the moslings ooh man the 15 worst things i have ever faced. i cri every time that part of year comes around(the two sets of moslings from the first two moosegoose i kill will just change mother and not get anger so just looking at one boss with 15 of those demons)
Is there a way to get the baby geese to break agro? They chased me from one end of the map to the other and killed me because my weapon broke and nightmares were atracking and all I could do is run.

Ive been watching your vids recently and trying to really get into Dont Starve.. I dont really know where to start with which DLC or should i just play DST? Im really overwhelmed by the amount of games and DLCs there are ^^
DST has all the DLC, is getting new updates as we speak with more to come, can still be played solo and just comes with many other added bonuses. I'd start with DST.

I've been trying to beat it with my friend but she ALWAYS flyes away and restore all her healt at some point. Do i have to keep targeting the babies?? Or never stop attacking her??
If she gets too far from her nest she will deagro, so keep the fight close and around her spawn points.

Nope, and my advice is don't make base near them or if you do kill mom immediately.
This means I might have a spawn right next to my base

I realize you don't like the on tentacles strategy, but, since you are taking suggestions, maybe do a video showing on tentacles v. bosses. I really like tentacles v. bee queen and v. dragonfly, it is so easy to kill them. And the lazy forager ir helpful. I have also seen people using tentacles v. fuelweaver with some success.
Another suggestion: the uses of lureplants. Like leafy meat farm or farm stuff using lureplants. That along with applied horticulture makes it really easy to farm grass and reeds, vg.
And another one: grass gecko farms.
I can't seem to get more than two hits per her one every time. How are you doing this??

If you have the equipment, kill them all. Tons of free meat and feathers.
Frog rain was happening and one hit the baby and moose goose came and there was an army of frogs they over welmed her and killed her it happened two more times I got all the loot and a ton of frog legs
I took on the goose without knowing anything about the fight. I got the mom easy but the goslings wrecked me when I was picking up her loot.
Oh yeah, Moose/Goose herself is one of the easiest bosses in the entire game - it's what comes after that really gets ya! :D

I got my butt handed to me by the moslings. They're too fast to catch up and avoid the others :( Should have just killed Moose Goose the first day and been done with it

I have this setpiece overlapping with a clockwork area in my world (1:50)
It took me a total of 7 in game days to kill all the moslings without a trap before killing mama goose.
Will she still spawn if rain and lightning is turned off?
Yes. She is the Spring boss, not the rain boss! :D
If you trap the moslings in bone fragments, will they still stop spinning after a duration of time I wonder. Would cut down on running around to focus on 1 at a time.
They do stop spinning, I showed it in the Winona's Catapult farming video!
