@@cantmakeacreativename2072 I mean if recruiting things gives sanity, and a flying furrball gives sanity, I see no reason pets couldn't either..pets aren't exactly easy to get (especially certain ones) so I think that balances it out enough. Plus it'd give pets a reason to be obtained! Sanity isn't even a major part of the game for most players as it's easy to avoid and easy to heal, so giving pets a small sanity aura wouldn't be too bad.

whenever i find chester not near a road, he usually hangs out near areas dense with frog ponds or full of moles. i hope this tip helps!
The beefalo, Glommer, and Chester are my favorite friends. Glommer is at the top of the list.
One month late reply, but I saw someone else who was cultured in the way of Glommer so I had to reply.

You can find the eyebone near the end table and also near frog ponds (a place of the world where there are a lot of frog ponds). It can also spawn in a mole zone, but this is *usually* near the frog ponds, sometimes it spawns in the swamp and some other random locations, but if you go near the end table and the frog ponds the possibilities are high.
It has no specific spawn point, at all. There was a time where I found the eyebone in the Oasis and there have been plenty of swamp findings as well.

Frog guide!!!
Chester has two main spawns on the map dependent of the cobblestone road, if the road leads to the pig king then follow it to the other side and follow the dirt road around and you'll find an opening with the eye bone. Or if the road spawns in a corner of the map, it'll just be by it
Not true, the eyebone can be anywhere. I've seen it spawn in the middle of swamps and have even found it in the Oasis. Now, there are certainly signs that point to more common spawns however there are no such thing as main spawns when it comes to him.
nice video beard could there be a base location / important items/layout guide for DST SW and HAM as I have some vague ideas for DST bases but no clue for hamlet and shipwrecked and guides on all three would be brilliant. Edit: I know it’s my second time asking and I don’t want to see rude / desperate I love ALL videos I make and feel like this massive part of the game isn’t covered enough by anyone
Things I would like to know are wether to have tent where to put stuff where to put the whole base (location) what to priorities and tips for early game ( first year ) and late game (2/3rd year +) bases and what the layout are for both of them as I feel there should be 2 different bases for time and similar for SW and HAMLET

Someone made a mod were baby tallbirds will grow up without killing you, and I have yet to play a DST game without this mod just in case

What if there was a critter of a Beefalo, requires 3 Beefalo horns, 10 Beefalo wool, and 1 Beefalo hat, The use of it is that it poops, like a lot, better than koalaphant, and sometimes produces guano.
For a future mod monday can you cover my pet? I haven't played in a while but i remember it making critters actually useful!

@@ackack6853 okay i had that problem as well for a bit, i thought it was patched. Thank you for letting me know its still i thing, i don't want to lose some of my older save files by reinstating it. Bummer it actually made critters worth while!
The larva is the best because is the cutes think in dst and has some use you can cook on it provides light and heat i feel woud be great if could grow to sub adult and still be friendly

I've recently found out that Beefalo have a chance to have a Carrat Riding upon them. Murdering the Beef drops the Carrat.
That's only due to the limited timed event so it won't be a thing much longer!

I remember that one and a half year ago, an ice puppy pet appeared and it was able to attack other mobs and also FREEZE them, it was awesome as hell.
I don't remember exactly what happened. I think I was battling with some dogs and they killed me and my pet was holding an ice crystal, or some icy dog killed me. And when I went to recover my stuff, this icy puppy was there with my pet and I thought that it was an enemy but it started to follow me and even protect me. I was a beginner, so I thought that it was something common, like chester's transformation. But it wasn't, I tried to look for it for a long time, but coudn't find anything.
Do you have any idea of what that was?

you catch fireflies with it and release them in your base one by one and see them glowing during the night, or catch butterflies to eat or plant them on the ground for flowers near your bee box.

I wish abigail can become a reanimated human for a short amount of time using a codex or what then she'll have a strong buff and can wear items to take on bosses for a longer period of time.
Or maybe just possess wendy to have way more attack multiplier for a short amount of time.

While correct that is not entirely true. The eyebone can spawn anywhere. I've found it in the middle of the oasis once.

The only way they can go away entirely is if you abandon them yourself when near the rock den.
