I’m sure many people can understand what you’re going through with your mom . It’s heartbreaking and scary. But it helps to know she’s in good hands at this home . And you and pal take good care of her and are so loving and gentle

Good call, Mike. She was leaning to her right too, in addition to the drooped mouth. Somerhing didn't seem right. It is such a wonderful routine to maintain regular visits with you and Pal. I honestly believe it's vital to your mom's optimal care and keeping her as functional as possible for as long as possible. Dementia of any type is such a cruel disease process, and you're doing everything humanly possible to optimize your mom's quality of life and keep her spirits up. ❤ You are good Souls, Mike & Pal.
My mother had dementia before she passed in 2020 and she also had good days and bad days. I think you and Pal are awesome for making sure she’s well taken care of 💜
My female GSD knew my father-in-law was not suppose to get off the sofa by himself so if he tried to she would put her mouth on his calf to remind him he needed to call for help. He had once walked outside in winter in his stocks and pants and tee shirt. It took calling the police to get him back inside. He was unstable, had Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s so my girl would keep her eye on him when we visited.
Pal knows something isn't right with her....he is no ordinary dog when the camera first shot to your mom I noticed her dropping right side of her mouth.....Pal was telling you something....be vigilant with your mom Mike...you are her best advocate❤
I'm glad your mom is ok. Dogs are smarter than people think and can sense things we can't, if he is ever trying to tell you something make sure you listen.
Sorry for what you are going through! I tried having my Mom with me but her dementia made her mean. Hated seeing her in a home but I couldn't care for her and my Dad at the same time! ❤😢
I like the fact that the gentleman came in and checked on your mom when you asked him to. That was awesome of him. And just for the record, you handled that very well I would have been panicking. My mother and I are very close too so if something like that were to be happening and Mom wouldn't be acting right I probably would be really really freaked out. I probably wouldn't show her but yeah I probably would have been a little bit more panicked than you. You handled that way better than I would have. And yes dogs know when people are having bad days. I have chronic migraines and both of my dogs know it. When I'm hurting, they're always there no matter what. They always make sure I know that they're there and they love me. i hope Your mom has a better day tomorrow.

(looks wet on the ground outside) And obviously hot day too, curtains drawn in the bedroom
That’s pretty amazing stuff Mike have you ever taken pal to a children’s hospital. All the children that are sick and can’t go outside. Just image the difference pal could make. You all really know how to make people feel good and bring all the joy and happiness to others thank you for all you do in the world
