      Chiara Sadowska, la pizza, piatto internazionale come pochi, è stata inventata a Napoli. Non è altro que l’antico pane piatto più pomodoro, mozzarella e basilico (classica Margherita con i colori della bandiera italiana).
      Ovviamente esistono tantissime varianti.

    I am from Germany and I lived with an Italian from Napoli for 6 months. He completely changed my whole view on a pizza and what a good pizza is.
    After this I watched this video countless times and perfected my process of making pizza.
    Now I know what makes a good and authentic pizza and also know how to make it. Probably not as good as you guys, but still way better than the vast majority you can find in Germany.

    sono del settore e devo dire che e la prima volta che vedo argomentare in modo corretto e con sapienza mi complimento con il relatore molti sapranno anche fare una buona pizza ma in questo caso e stato spiegato con tanta chiarezza come si fa una buona pizza bravo.

      All'inizio del video (dopo gli ingredienti) dice che il forno di casa deve essere alla massima temperatura, anche perchè alla fine è la pietra che cuoce la pizza e non proprio il forno in se.

    Finalmente, dopo 100.000 video fatti sulla pizza, un video completo al 100% per tutti, che spiega bene nei mini termini. Fattibile da tutti in primis, e dal risultato ottenibile su qualsiasi forno di casa. Bravo! Spiegazione eccellente. Complimenti anche al tono di conversazione che usi...fa avvicinare le persone e non le fa scappare appena sente, ....”vi faccio vere io come si fa......” con un tono di “io sono meglio degli a altri” ....di nuovo complimenti e grazie.

    Ho conosciuto questo ragazzo da poco, grazie ad un video di un suo workshop condiviso su Facebook. Di solito alcune persone ti sono antipatiche con uno sguardo, invece lui mi è risultato simpatico da subito, con quel sorriso che fa chi ha gioia di vivere. Solare, competente e innamorato della pizza: potrebbe montarsi la testa e invece nel rispondere ad alcuni leoni da tastiera rosiconi (probabilmente inferociti dalla sua tecnica e dalle sue conoscenze in materia) si è dimostrato umile e professionale, rispondendo con garbo. Che dire? «la pizza si mangia anche con gli occhi» è poesia pura. Vorrei avere il privilegio di assaggiare la sua pizza e prima o poi accadrà. Purtroppo non sono campano e dovrò aspettare. Evviva Napoli, la pizza e le menti come Davide che decidono di dare lustro a questa nazione. Bravo!

      @@DavideCivitiello I'm having a hard time finding "lievito di birra," brewer's yeast in the U.S. What Davide has in his hand looks like a paste. What I can find is brewer's yeast in powder form. Are those the same thing? Or, is the powder fortified with something to make a paste? Is it alright as long as I use Saccharomyces cerevisiae? I would really appreciate some clarification.

      Aggiungerei che, prima di tutto, ha passione in ciò che fa e lo fa con il cuore...dando il meglio di sé!
      Poi sa lavorare...è innegabile...e ha piacere di farlo! Combinazione rara oggigiorno!
      Grazie mille per avermi fatto capire come fare per mangiare qualcosa che si avvicini alla pizza napoletana anche qui dove abito io! In zona L'Aquila ci sono molte sedicenti pizzerie napoletane che non sanno manco dove sta di casa! Conclusione, preferisco evitare di buttar tempo, soldi e aspettative! Non mangio una pizza da più di sei mesi!

    I've tried this recipe yesterday. I'm still blown away by the result. The crust was perfect. It had a beautiful color. It was very light inside the crust and crunchy on the outside. Great complexity of flavors and textures as good Neapolitan STYLE pizza should be. Well, I've never been to Napoli, but I figure how a good Neapolitan pizza should taste like based on the experts mostly present in this channel. The size in which you cut your cheese is a very important tip. Mine was too slim and it ended up scorched a little bit in the first try. So, one gotta listen to every single detail explained by master Civitiello.
    I gotta say. The top temperature reached by the average domestic oven here where I live is laughable. The quality of the flour is another bad joke. Nevertheless, I managed by following this amazing recipe to get a pretty great pizza.
    I just have to thank master Civitiello and the crew of Italia Squisita for this.

      I'm Italian and i tried also to do it by myself.. but, trust me, when you try a napoletan pizza you understand that yours is not even a 5 of 10 comparing to an original pizza. I also thank him for sharing this video that is very clear and complete.

      Secondo me quell' impasto non era.. di lievitazione 6 ore.. come un normale impasto di casa. Troppe alveolature grandi..magari venisse così in 6 ore. Quello è un impasto di 24 ore con biga

      I admit I never tried the Wisconsin cheese but surely you know nothing about the italian pizza preparation. In my opinion the guy in the video does it in the best way possible.
      About the focaccia I was joking but it's another story...

      from what you say it is clear that preparing pizza isn't your strongest skill. I advise you to rely on some serious pizza restaurants, of which NY is certainly full. Possibly with Napolitan chefs who use Italian ingredients. you can thank me later.

      I’d like to try to make it, but should I use just regular dry yeast that is sold here in the US? I’d actually purchased Caputo flour from Italy at Amazon before and loved it. Thank you again so much for sharing your beautiful skills!!!

      Ciao Davide, grazie x il fantastico video. Se avresti la gentilezza di rispondere a queste mio domanda apprezzerei tanto.
      1)La farina è una farina 0 o 00?
      Vivo all’estero quindi qui già è difficile trovare le cose giuste.
      2) non avendo la pietra (prima o poi la comprerò) io la pizza la informo sempre sotto..va bene? E faccio sempre come la teglia..di quanti grammi dovrebbe essere l’impasto facendo la teglia? (Lo so non è l’ideale visto che non è pizza a taglio ma ho solo la teglia grande da forno a casa.
      Ed ultima domanda...congelare l’impasto si o è un sacrilegio e come meglio fare.
      Grazie ancora e sei simpaticissimo.

    Thank you for the recipe - the pizza turned out to be great and tasty. I have one problem though with the edges - despite kneading as shown in the video, the edges grow full without empty spaces inside. The dough otherwise seems perfect - any good advice on that?
