As a British person the living room in the house thoroughly jarred me due to those two large doors and the stairs making it highly inefficient for heat retention. You’d be freezing in 90% of the year.
Edit: commented this partially through the video. Didn’t notice the ARCH into the kitchen, this house has 0 heat retention.
It’s a very American build in that aspect, all about aesthetic and stairs right by the big double doors - let the tenants worry about how to lower their heating bill later. (Does the sims utilities take design into account or just square footage and items used?!)

10:56 I'm an Interior Architecture & Design student. As far as symmetry goes, all that matters is that there's balance. So, say on top of a fireplace, you could have something like a candle on each side, or you could have a plant on one side and a medium and small candle on the other. Just keep the sides balanced, and it'll look nice.

I am going through a tough time too, don't really know why though, just very anxious all the time and trying to cope. I understand the feeling of wanting to create but not feeling good enough to create and then feeling worse because you can't create. I built a house in the sims today with my dog and it was a nice good house. Sometimes you just gotta build a house.

This may be a pretty niche sims 3 fan thing, but this house to me looks as if some sim from Midnight Hollow decided their done with the hellhole that town is so they moved to sims 4 and built a much more modern house, but still kept the dark theme they remember from home lmao I love it honestly
