Your last moments witnessed only by the dancing snowman, mocking you with his Christmas cheer.
Useless Fun Fact: The neighbor will always be the living Sim from outside the household with the lowest NID. If you resurrect Seth Zaidi (you shouldn’t, it will corrupt your neighborhood), it will be him instead of Vidcund.
I laughed so hard I cried, and I couldn't stop laughing and crying. My 3 year old kept bringing me tissues and asking if I was okay. This video has definitely been the highlight of my day.
excuse me, as someone who played tons of sims 2 in middle school i can tell you the game perfectly pandered to my teenage angst and i'm well aware how depressing it is.
Coming back to this first video, it makes me realise how massive of a mistake it was for Vidcund to confront Kevin about spying on him with a telescope in the first place.
14:14 " 'If the point of playing The Sims 2 was to kill off all of your Sims, then you would be the world champion!' I'm gonna stop reading there" Kevin knows how to quit while he's ahead
Why do I get the feeling Kevin just gave us an accurate recreation of his house. Ovenless kitchen Singing snowman in an empty room And Kevin performing stand up to Anna while she stands there awkwardly. In all seriousness, this was hilarious.
My little brother gave me his old origin account so that I can play the Sims 2. I haven't played the game since I was maybe 5 years old until now. I forgot how hard it is to avoid death in this game until I played again! The Sims 4 really is a shell of how great the Sims used to be.
In this episode Kevin gave an innocent lady ptsd, almost burnt his house down, got food poisoning, and murdered his neighbor whom he have been spying on. This is the first episode. Good stuff.
I mean, it's a pretty good recreation of you, Kevin. The only problem is that it's too tan. I'm not being blinded by this sim's paleness, and therefore it's not a completely accurate recreation.
Imagine you go into a neighborhood, see an empty house with the occupant at work, and inside there's just a snowman radio BLASTING Christmas music at 3 AM.
i miss this depth of game play , Sims 2 with Sims 4 graphics would be so amazing. even small details like them cuddling in bed was nice. and trying to get your kid into private school
Great to see someone playing the game in a fun quirky way again. These days its all speed builds and perfect challenges, which I enjoy sometimes, but I like this way more!
Pro tip for Sims 2: increase characters head size to max, pick random default nose, and size settings resets on the other parts of the face, you can basically make their heads as big as you want
I've been playing strangetown myself and seeing Kevin interact with famous characters like jenny smith and vidcund curious without a clue is so funny. Like, Kevin, vidcund hates you because you keep spying on him with the telescope 😂
My cousins had this game. I played it on their depleted, terribly slow computer yet i loved every second of it. It was handrd down to me and i got to play properly on my own laptop. How time flies.

Sims 2 sounds like Sims Urbz, almost. I remember playing Sims Urbz as a kid and having an alien come in to use my toilet and they left a mess of green goo everywhere
the curious family are just like that
Lmaoooo same 😂 I was a left a very confused 12 year old
@@DeathnoteBB yo the Sims Urbz was literally the best Gane ever when I was a kid.
Because I was so young I thought Pascal was a tomboy woman. Took me years to realise be was a man because of the pregnancy. I was confused by the alien pregnancy the 1st time.
that “party” reminds me of a house party i went to years ago where by the end it was just me and my friend left and we made paninis and a full salad at 4am whilst blasting ‘glamorous’ by fergie on a loop
Sounds like a feckin hoot honestly.
That sounds awesome
Now that's a party!
@@MattyH1992 we were very drunk and wanted melted cheese, what more can i say
@@MattyH1992 never thought I'd read feckin and hoot together in one sentence lol
The fact that the sims 2 is nearly 20 years old is quite depressing itself 😢
OMFG🥺
The fact that I am almost 20 and never played this (only the mobile version) 🥹🥹🥹 sad....
@@Miinafied this is so sad actually 😭😭 mobile sims are very boring
@@shinobuily Yes it was very boring. But we didn't have a PC back then. That was only for rich people in my country at that time. I am from the Netherlands hahaha but when I see this I kind of get the nostalgia, because I did play Sims 3 on the Wii haha
@@Miinafied I've actually never played ts2 either but it's because I'm too young 😭 my sister did tho
The Christmas music in the background instantly makes everything 10x more chaotic 😂
The true chaotic music of sims 2 is salsa, all veteran players know that! xD
Ya lol
Good? Bad? Neutral? Or the fourth one that Kevin seems to have invented by being himself? 😂
@@iamarok Definitely the latter, his own brand of chaotic 😅
@@ashleysteele1354 definitely 😂
Damn, if someone invited me over to a “party” that was just the two of us awkwardly standing in their living room with Christmas trance music blasting, terrible standup and endless crisps-
*I’d definitely marry them on the spot.*
Sims 2 got me through my teen years. I would play it all day, everyday lol Id get the new expansion packs when they came out but then I’d have to delete literally everything else from my computer just to have enough space to put the newest sims lol good times..
Minus sims expansions part.... basically im saying my pc is too full and i need more space but i cant cause its all games i play a lot so....
Lol I remember having to do the same 😅
“Loading the The TH-camr Family” sounds like Kevin has a stutter but only during that sentence in the same place everytime
Same thing happened when Kevin made Grogneck and he made that joke, I don't know if your copying his joke he made years ago or your just new.
I mean i have seen those videos but I don’t remember those specifically but it may be in my subconscious
@@Slacker420 Yeah prolly
Strangetown is my all time fav sims 2 town and having Kevin there is perfection, he should definitely visit Olive Specter and her graveyard she's like female Jim lmao
can't wait for more eps!
HOLY shit, imagine being trapped in some mad man's swimming pool, slow losing the strength to keep afloat, and as your last thoughts of your family drift through your mind, all you can hear is jazzy versions of Christmas tunes from a dancing snowman that your tormentor put next to the pool. Your last moments witnessed only by the dancing snowman, mocking you with his Christmas cheer.
A fortune teller told me that was the manner of my death. Can't wait
And that was a better alternative to what happened. Poor Vidcund.
@@JetEngine787 move to a desert town... *He's* waiting..

We didn’t get to see Vidcund’s ghost… life is so unfair
Kevin: *spies on neighbors*
Also Kevin: Why does my neighbor keep coming over here and reprimanding me? I’m just spying on my neighbors!
I am so glad I am not the only one who noticed this hahaha
And that's how strangetown became strangerville
Useless Fun Fact: The neighbor will always be the living Sim from outside the household with the lowest NID. If you resurrect Seth Zaidi (you shouldn’t, it will corrupt your neighborhood), it will be him instead of Vidcund.
I laughed so hard I cried, and I couldn't stop laughing and crying. My 3 year old kept bringing me tissues and asking if I was okay. This video has definitely been the highlight of my day.
How many times is Kevin gonna make that “the the (blank) family” mistake in this game

Can someone please tell Kevin that in the previous Sims games you could place additional lots!
And couldn't you make your own maps?
@@TheSpy149 yes, and the sims 2 had like 50 unique neighborhood templates.

excuse me, as someone who played tons of sims 2 in middle school i can tell you the game perfectly pandered to my teenage angst and i'm well aware how depressing it is.
I know, right?!
From the ages of 16-21, I was addicted to this game!
Coming back to this first video, it makes me realise how massive of a mistake it was for Vidcund to confront Kevin about spying on him with a telescope in the first place.
"Every now and then he turns to the camera and freaks the Hell out"
So much like his creator
*kevin:*
i don’t even have an oven, surely there’s not going to be a fire
*the sims 2:*
_bold of you to assume…._
"I don't even think he's doing stand-up comedy, I think he's just having a panic attack" - Kevin describes Bo Burnham, 2016
14:14 " 'If the point of playing The Sims 2 was to kill off all of your Sims, then you would be the world champion!' I'm gonna stop reading there" Kevin knows how to quit while he's ahead
Does Kevin just yell "Oh no STINKIES!" when he's going to take a shower irl?
Hey, who doesn't?
When he’s sorting his laundry lol
12:00 That man. He didn't know it then. But entering this lot was the worst mistake of his many lives.
Why do I get the feeling Kevin just gave us an accurate
recreation of his house.
Ovenless kitchen
Singing snowman in an empty room
And Kevin performing stand up to Anna while she stands there awkwardly.
In all seriousness, this was hilarious.
I love how the palest simtone is 50 shades darker than kevin
My little brother gave me his old origin account so that I can play the Sims 2. I haven't played the game since I was maybe 5 years old until now. I forgot how hard it is to avoid death in this game until I played again! The Sims 4 really is a shell of how great the Sims used to be.
Strangetown may be strange, but it is still entirely unprepared for the level of strangeness Kevin brings.
16:24 We just not going to talk about how Jenny takes a leak on the vomit covered toilet then dips?
In this episode Kevin gave an innocent lady ptsd, almost burnt his house down, got food poisoning, and murdered his neighbor whom he have been spying on.
This is the first episode. Good stuff.
Kevin: *seduces Jenny Smith*
Also Kevin: *spends the last part of the video trying to murder her brother*
I mean she wanted to see his ghost so...
Normal people: make christmas content on christmas

The magic of Kevin
Kevin at the party: I'm father Christmas but you can call me daddy.
"Name's kevin, but you can call me saint nicholas!"
I always love how The Sims 2 has fluid animation and expression which the next two game lacks.
that ending where he's ominously digging a grave
Kevin is pure evil:P
I mean, it's a pretty good recreation of you, Kevin. The only problem is that it's too tan. I'm not being blinded by this sim's paleness, and therefore it's not a completely accurate recreation.
I don't think any game could ever recreate Kevin's pale glow
@@sapphireblue4031 Sadly, I think you might be right. The Sims 4 gets pretty close, though.
Imagine you go into a neighborhood, see an empty house with the occupant at work, and inside there's just a snowman radio BLASTING Christmas music at 3 AM.
this is the one I played most when I was younger, how nostalgic~~
I still play the Sims 2 the most of the Sims games. No regrets :D It aged so well! Except the style of the furniture haha..

I remember as a kid being so absorbed reading this game's "hidden lore"
The Goths.....
I love watching this back knowing how the Vidcund cinematic universe expands.
Pro tip for Sims 2: increase characters head size to max, pick random default nose, and size settings resets on the other parts of the face, you can basically make their heads as big as you want
So Vidcund's first appearance actually was from INSIDE THE HOUSE
That was a foreshadow that Kev did not see coming. Nor Vidcund.
I’d love to see more, we all have the want to see the ghost of Vidcund
I've been playing strangetown myself and seeing Kevin interact with famous characters like jenny smith and vidcund curious without a clue is so funny. Like, Kevin, vidcund hates you because you keep spying on him with the telescope 😂
Vidcund is probably my favorite Sims 2 premade and the fact that he's Kevin's nemesis now lmao 😂

this whole video was like a weird alternate timeline for Forrest Gump
This whole video kinda reminds me of the "You" TV series - trapping a person, spying on the neighbours, trying to score a good date with the one woman the sim likes. The only missing element is a basement for trapping other sims.
