I was doing exactly the same. Probably because the fridge is the thing I forget every time when doing tiny homes. Every. Damn. Time.

A friend of mine actually doesn’t have a fridge but she has a stove. The struggleluv ❤️
it would've made sense for them to add bunk beds with tiny living... and scooting on double beds for two sims... i've given up at this point lol
well to be fair at one point the sims in the sims 4 could actually scoot down on the bed, but somewhere along the journey it just stopped working like most things in the game

Yes,and toilet sink combos and actual small furniture,like maybe a small fridge (i forgot the name but like the one in university)with a cook top...that would be the perfect pack for me
@@gubbbie5490 I think that what made it stop working was one or two updates before tiny living, maybe to promote tiny living but it was never fixed. so idk what was the point of removing it.

honestly if tiny living actually came with things like bunk beds and 3 in 1 bathrooms it'd be much easier to make tiny homes.. but of course they wouldn't do that in the sims 4 cause that would be too easy..
I'm only a minute in, but I have a proposal for a drinking game: take a drink every time Jesse says "tiny living." (jk, that would be a lot of alcohol consumption in a short time. Love your videos and hope you're doing well!)

The music used in The Sims 3 will always be sims music, no matter how many TV shows use it.
You can size down beds and they're TECHNICALLY still usable

I shared a full sized futon bed when i was 20 with my 18 and 17 year old sisters for 2 years 😭 Someone always had feet in their face.
Yeah I know a lot of people that had to share beds growing up due to limited funds and space :/
@@bigsiskrishere Yeah, I shared a bed with my sister for years until I was 20 and my sister was 14. At the time we fought a lot due to not having our own space, but now I moved away and miss being able to be that close with her

When my build mode starts lagging like that usually just opening the menu then closing it back fixes it!!

hot tip: if the game lags when you're in build/buy mode, just open the options (the three dots on the top right corner) and close the options again. after that the game will run fine again. idk if this'll work for everybody but it works for me

i don't know if this still works but i think i used to do this: you can put a laptop on a kitchen counter, size the counter down until you can hide it inside or under a small shelf and then make it line up so it looks like the laptop is on the shelf and it saves space but it still is functional. dunno if i explained this well but you could try it

@@Name-sb2in nope, i7, 16gb ram, ssd .. I have core temp running, and I don't even play on the highest setting .. It also just recently started lagging.. Eco lifestyle could be around the time.. At least a few weeks.

I wouldve been fine with bunk beds even if sims just jumped on the second bed. They didnt even have to add new animations.

Despite the things lacking in this game, I actually really love the build mode and how the sims can scoot past such small spaces. It’s something I really miss when I go back to the other games.

Ok so both you and Kayla are convinced sims can't crawl over the bed to sleep in the other side but they can! If you assign the side closest to the wall to a sim, as long as that sim gets in first they'll always scooch over
