13:42 to add to this, Charlie Brown is infamously known to fail at everything, whether it be someone or something, the world is out to get Charlie to the point where he has more of a pessimistic look on life. So him being able to successfully fly a kite is a sight to behold of course the kids would celebrate. Especially since they are JUST KIDS!
11:47 Pretty sure he is referring to Diabolus Ex Machina, a Trope in TV Tropes that is the exact opposite to Deus Ex Machina so the Sin here is that he didn't proofread his own script and could have done his research.
sins like the one at 10:09 confuse the hell out of me because it’ll have Jeremy directly comment on the source material, but then whenever he getd questioned on other sins that can be explained by the source material we’re told “The books don’t matter” So which is it? Does the source material matter or do they not matter? It can’t be both

I don’t think there’s any other reason for it. 1:53 I’m pretty sure Schroeder (I hope I spelled that right) doesn’t mind using Beethoven as his alarm clock because he clearly loves music, and gets to play it while he’s awake. It’s motivating for him. 3:02 Not only that, but pretty much every iteration of Peanuts (whether made by Charles Schulz or not) depicts Lucy as having a very childish rivalry with Charlie Brown, so it’s perfectly in character for her. 4:36 I am definitely thinking that is not a continuity error as Jeremy suggests since Charlie is notoriously clumsy. I’m going to insult the poor lad for a second (I’m sorry) but given he can’t even kick a football, I wouldn’t expect him to perfectly remove a kite from a tree. 5:59 I really don’t think a kid (especially Charlie) would even think of kicking their beloved dog off a bed. A kid with some anger issues (like Lucy, maybe) but definitely not him. 7:38 Also who knows. Maybe there was something blocking the door. Regardless, not the movie’s fault. 8:16 I wouldn’t call the Red Haired Girl a “Powerful woman” just because Charlie is intimidated by her. He feels that way because he likes her, simple as that. There’s probably more I could say, but this video was really well done and hit most of the main points I was thinking of myself. Great job!
Another great video. And I have three things to say: 1. While this is my favorite Blue Sky movie, this was my third favorite animated movie from 2015, behind Inside Out and Anomalisa. 2. 1:50 I do the same thing, because it’s not easy for me to get out of bed. 3. 11:47 I initially thought the “Hungry Bird Ex Machina” sin from his A Bug’s Life video was his worst usage of that phrase, but I now agree with you that this one is his worst usage of it.
(In reference to Sin 14) As of this movie's release, Frieda had existed for 54 years and her defining character trait in the comics, specials, movies, and tv shows released during that time depicted her to be obsessed with her naturally curly hair and openly bragging about it. Also, Jeremy expects the Peanuts characters to be complex?
With some of Jeremy’s “sins” involving stuff like “the male gaze” in his videos including this one, I’m convinced he had “help” with the script from Anita Sarkeesian, 2016 BuzzFeed or both. 😂
Missed Sentence: Being chased around continuously by Snoopy and/or taking the place of Lucy’s football when Charlie Brown FINALLY gets to kick the football 😂

To sum up how dumb Jeremy’s “point” about Lucy’s excitement for nickels is, she’s always preferred nickels as her payment for her “therapy sessions.” Granted, dimes and quarters would have more value than nickels, but at least this movie adapting a comic/source material is getting what it’s adapting right. In other words, as one would expect, Jeremy doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Jeremy from CinemaSins: Kick the dog off the bed. Me: so pull a family friendly Michael Vick on an actual animal? I think we found a psychopath here. Moral of the story: Keep Jeremy away from animals. 😂
Pretty good video. Though since you used A Charlie Brown Christmas for the sentence, I'm surprised you didn't sin the TVSins video on it and use that sentence there while thinking of something else for the movie...
It's so funny to me how you got legit bored with this video. A bit biased because I personally do not like CinemaSins, but the format of it doesn't work for this movie whatsoever. I think even people who are fans of their content wouldn't call this entertaining, and they can excuse anything. Just blatant desperation to dog on the logic of a cartoony, charming, laid-back movie about Peanuts
