BenQ Mobiuz Ex2510s or BenQ Mobiuz Ex240?
@@NetoproPS3 what's the title read?
@@TotallydubbedHD okay thanks
Didn't expect such a quality review. This is how reviews are done. Great job.
Thanks buddy, much appreciated!
I have an old BenQ Zowie 24" 144hz of more then 9 years and for sure I will switch with a new one this model. The trouble wright now is stock shortage but probably after Holidays will be back in stock. Happy holidays to you and yours!! Best
Thanks, you too!
Thank you very much for the detailed review!!!
Pleasure, glad you enjoyed it!
Hello, which would be better for watch movies and play not competitive games? This one or the aoc 24g2spu, both the same price. I am looking for the the best image quality, but also good perfomance. because i see that aoc has more % srgb and higher contrast.
I now that you say this one is your favourite but to be sure.
What i like about this one is that it has 2x USB ss ports, internal PSU so you don‘t have to hide a huje power brick and integrated speakers for console gaming. I will get one once it is discounted because in my country it‘s around 240€ and that’s just to high.
Fair enough! Thanks for sharing.
The BenQ EX2780Q is honestly a steal.
yooo go look now if you somehow still looking im pretty sure it is on sale right now for me it is 200$ instead of 350 canadian money
Thanks for reviewing it, it's the only one on youtube even though the monitor came out a few months ago. Any chances for reviewing the VA version?
Potentially, but currently got a very busy schedule, so have to prioritise other things! Glad you liked the review though.
BenQ MOBIUZ EX240 or LG UtraGear 24GN600-B?? Thanks for the review.
Impressive review...as in how informative you were!
I’m looking for a monitor simply to connect my Lorex DVR to for viewing my 1080p home surveillance camera system feed and I want something nice. Should this monitor do the trick?
I value your input and thank you for your time 👍🏼
Thank you, glad you found it useful!
Yes this will be fine but is really overkill given what you're using it for - why not get a budget FHD monitor instead? Ie. 60hz
@@TotallydubbedHD Good point...just want to make sure i get the clearest picture on the monitor and afraid of something being garbage if I go cheaper. As you can figure, I’m not great with this LOL.
@@yatusabe2537 think if you get an IPS 60hz panel, you'll be more than fine

Great review, this and the ex2510 are about the same price here in Australia around the $350 mark. I was looking at the MSI g224f but can't find any reviews on it,do you know if it's any good?
No idea, sorry!
Hi, great reviews! i love that you actually test the monitos. Just bought a benQ 2540K and i'm really unhappy with the TN panel, it's bad in every aspect except playing CSGO where i just love it. Now i'm trying to compare the 2 Monitors responsiveness and got a little confused by the "initial response time" table at 2:24 , i compared it with the "total response time" from RTINGS. is that the same? because i'm quite impressed by these numbers for an IPS :O maybe i even go for the MSI Oculux NXG253RDE for 450€ but the Mobiuz EX240 is only 200€ damn i'm so confused
Glad you like the reviews! Comparing different sources is really not advised, and I've often found that Rtings results are a little odd/off. I'd suggest looking at my recent AOC monitor review, or delving into the alternatives mentioned in the description of that particular review
Are the colors bad, or is it the clarity not noticeable for you?
What settings you recommend to use in this monitor? I bought one of this yesterday
Hello is this a good gaming monitor for my X box series X since you have tested in your pc system?
Hey! Thank you for this detailed review it really helped me a lot and I decided to buy it, but here in turkey, only the EX240N model is available and it has an VA panel. I'm really confused right now because of the VA panel. What do you think should I buy it?
Not tried the other so can't comment!
Hello, thanks for this great review! What do you think about the EX240N (with a VA screen)?
What monitor would you suggest that has a low minimum brightness (isn’t 49 nit fairly high in a dark room?)
Not tried it yet so can't comment. And you'll have to have a look at the models listed in the description and delve into my reviews.
HI! Thanks for the review. Would you be so kind as to recommend the best setup for the colors?
Techless has some in their review.
Thanks for the detailed and great video! I'm just sooo undecided between this monitor and EX2510s one. I'm not a hardcore fps gamer, i usually play story games and watching movies, so colors are more important to me. They are almost at the same price in my country, which one would you recommend? Also Dell S2522HG is another option for me but i really dont know which one i should pick in terms of color accuracy..
Thanks, but to answer your question, it should be obvious as to what I'd recommend.
@@TotallydubbedHD I'm sorry but i've watched your both videos about these monitors several times and EX2510S has better test results with sRGB and higher HDR brightness and also much better Contrast ratio than EX240. That's why it wasnt really obvious to me.
@@enesyordem I would pick the EX240, as per the review!
@@enesyordem I'm also undecided about the monitors themselves, and I have to choose by tomorrow when Black Friday ends here in Italy, in the end which one did you choose and which one do you recommend?
@@ampinITA Well, i ended up with none of them..i bought Gigabyte G24F-2 bcuz it was much cheaper and it has much better color accuracy and HDR performance which is more important to me..its been a week since i bought it and im super pleased so far.
Nice and informative video! I'm curious though, would you recommend this monitor or the BenQ Mobiuz EX2710Q when gaming mostly on the PS5?
If Sony really supports 1440p, and you can afford the other, that's what I'd recommend
@@TotallydubbedHD Thank you! :), that is a good question indeed. I think the ps5 does but I'm not sure if it would require hdmi 2.1, otherwise it would probably be locked at 1440p with 120hz, also I'm not sure how many games support that resolution and frame rates yet. Besides the ps5 I only have a laptop for gaming and graphic design so I'm not sure if I could get the full advantage of 1440p with 165hz. Because of that I went for the EX240 but I will definitely keep an eye on the EX2710Q because it could be a nice upgrade in the near future if I like the EX240.
You don't need HDMI 2.1 for 1440p at 120hz; only HDMI 2.0, which, if I'm not mistaken, the monitor has.
Nice review sir ! Btw I'm still curious, is this better than the g24f ?
Thanks! Not tried the other, say can't comment
Hey man great content just had a question which one do you prefer in terms of responsiveness this monitor or the ex2510s that you reviewed in the past both are at 165hz.
Thanks! Obviously this one, if you look at the review of the EX250S, it'll be pretty obvious that it's not my favourite

Zowie XL2546K vs Ex240???? Your opinion about input lag and respons time which is better???? I have ps5 and i play FC 24.
which is better benq EX240 or the aoc 24g2sp??
Hi, a bit different topic but I believe you'll know the answer. I would appreciate your help :)
If my monitor sets and locks overdrive to “Normal” while Freesync is enabled, but the measured values of response time are better on Overdrive set to “Off” (with Freesync off, coz overdrive can't be set to off while Freesync is on), shall I turn off the Freesync and play without it? However, may there be any screen tearing in my games then?
Everything you said is correct - if you want better response times but have tearing you'll want to disable Freesync
Ah, alright. I'm a bit of noob at this but from what I understand there will be some screen tearing after disabling Freesync tho I may receive better response times, right? So, would you recommend disabling freesync if screen tearing is kind of no no for me
@@faildrian42 that's right. Depends on the type of gamer you are? Hardcore, disable. Casual, enable.
Hey man, love the videos. I bought this monitor because of your video and I like it but I do have one problem. When I change the refresh rate from 60hz to 165hz the picture is much more washed out, everything is ''brighter'', less contrast and the blacks and not as black as they were on 60hz. Its like the gamma and contrast change when I use different refresh rates.
The OSD settings don't change, every single setting stays the same, settings in AMD software are also the same. I'm not sure what's the issue here, if anyone has some information I would find it very helpful. Appreciate it!
Glad you liked the review!
As for your issue, that's very odd - might it be HDR automatically triggering for some reason!? As HDR on Windows (ie not in a game) looks like what you've explained.
how do you know if your laptop is compatible?
Hi I’m currently looking at buying a monitor which will be used primarily for gaming which would be better the AOC 24G2SPU or the VA version of this monitor? They are both priced around the same in my country.

I'm looking to purchase a new monitor real soon. I am torn between this monitor and the Samsung Odyssey G3 24 inch 165hz. They are both pretty similar with slight differences like the Mobiuz being an IPS panel and the G3 having a better stand. I just don't know how to make a decision.
Not tried the other, but see the title of this video...

Not tried the other, but as pointed out in your comment, my thoughts about this one are quite clear - glad you enjoyed the review!
hi everyone, i have a question, i've recently bought this monitor but i feel like it has enabled some type of blur/motion blur... someone knows how to disable it??
Im looking for a monitor upgrade and I saw you have this in the description for the best 144hz monitor but is it actually in your opinion the best 144hz? My budget is 300 USD and I just want something above 120hz
I think you answered your own question within the question, lol.
Any idea why I can’t turn on GSync on EX2510S?? Eventho it supports AMD freesync? Gpu 2060 i use DPport from my old XL2411P monitor..
It's not officially supported, and from memory that model didn't work on my system either (as it didn't have Freesync capabilities), check the review for more info.
Is it good for the ps5 and the ps5 slim i wanna buy it as my first monitor or is the LG Electronics 24GN60R-B.BEU better?
Erm, probably
Hi, can you please explain what is the glass piece with a pcb inside which is just below the monitor logo? Somehow the physical buttons did not work for me as they are locked and after i pressed on this glass piece again the buttons started working. is this anything to do with the pcb?
The eye sensor?!

i actually love this monitor but the thing is my desk is kinda small and the stand and everything looks huge, may i know the width of the sitting stand or your upper tier desk as the monitor fits perfectly over there!
Don't have the specs but do check online - my desk is the IKEA Fredde if that helps?
@@TotallydubbedHD can we wall mount this monitor ? this one and Mobiuz Ex2510s can be wall mounted on a monitor stand ?
@@HimanshuKotkar17 yes, 100x100 vesa mount. the stand it comes with does take up some space for it's size, it extends almost to the length of the display on the sides, i measured 46cm from one leg corner to another and 25,5cm from back to front. the stand leans foward a little bit too so for a small desk it might feel too close to your face, i have a pretty small 120x60 desk so i sit a bit further and lean back to get arms length distance unless i am tryharding in fps games.A mount would likely create some extra distance.
Would you recommend this monitor or maybe the Iiyama GB2590HSU-B1 over a TN gaming monitor? I never had an IPS monitor and I'm thinking of buying one, but I'm kinda deterred of the IPS glow because 99% of the time I'm playing in a pitch black room with my only light source is the RGB out of my PC case and a little LED strip behind my desk 🙄

@@TotallydubbedHD im pretty surr by my test that 165hz are enough but if im gonna get a new cpu the ryzen 5 5600 i could do over 240 FPS because i can buy the monitor or the cpu
i have the same monitor but my freesync dont work anymore how can i fix or activate it
you have to do it from nvidia control panel.
What percentage of brightness is in the game when the lights are on in the house?
Don't have that info, but the brightness figures were shared in the video
Thus this monitor suits for editing and coding?
yo in the end i bought this but the VA version. I just installed it and why it look yellow when the move are fast?
No idea, not reviewed it.
@@TotallydubbedHD im gonna use it for a week and then return it and i think thats because of the black smearing bc it happen only in dark app like TH-cam. Should i try the EX240 or other monitor?

hello, I bought ex240, good monitor, you should know that I play fifa much better than before, input lag is quite good, but I have a question, I would like something even better in terms of input lag and response time, VG279QM it's better? or another monitor?, what do you think?, anyway, thank you for everything, I greet you with respect.
I want to mention, I play fifa at 60hz.
Pointless getting anything else in your case! Would stick to this.

Thanks!
Is it good for ps5?
which is better between EX240N/EX240/XL2411K to playing cod on ps5?
The EX240 for sure. The EX240N uses a crappy VA Panel 🤢
Hey, I thinking between BenQ Ex240 or Acer Nitro XF243Y. When I look to the settings, always Acer wins, but I have a feeling that BenQ is such better. What do you guys think?
I'm undecided too, the Acer Nitro XF243Y on rtings say it's excellent, the BenQ MOBIUZ EX240 also gives the impression of being better to me, the BenQ's build quality is certainly superior, even between the Benq Mobiuz Ex2510S and the BenQ MOBIUZ EX240 is not easy to choose, GB2470HSU-B1 and GB2570HSU-B1 about the technical specifications also look very good.
@@CanaleTH-camGeneralista yeah, is the same feeling. I also read about dead pixels, that is very rare in BenQ built, and very common on Acer devices. I did a post on Reddit, I’ll let you know my conclusions 😉
@@matheushubsch1498 About dead pixels it's a problem that many monitors have, however I found out that the GB2570HSU-B1 and the Benq Mobiuz Ex2510S have the same panel, the M250HAN01.8, the panel of the BenQ MOBIUZ EX240 I don't understand which one is it ? moreover, on the BenQ MOBIUZ EX240 it says 8 bits (6 bits + FRC) what does it mean is it 6 bits ? Alright let me know.
I think you need to watch the video!
@@TotallydubbedHD Thank you, yes I have seen the video several times, I have been watching your videos for days, I hope the build quality of the BenQ Mobiuz EX240 is identical to that of the BenQ Mobiuz EX2510.
