    Story 1: Very satisfying. I think it is also very important that he drew the line at keeping nudes sent to him, as "revenge porn" is a thing and rightfully illegal in a lot of places. Instead, he tricked his former friend into an embarrassing position almost exactly like he was threatening to do to OP. Everything else was just exposing "James" as a terrible person. Really well played IMO.

    You gotta love James' Dad. He didn't automatically take his son's side and was a really good human being and kept OP's secret and kept him as an employee and ditched his own son. It doesn't sound like James will ever change since he was harassing and threatening girls in college. It sounds like that is his go-to to get what he wants. It's such a shame. I also hope OP stays in contact with James' Dad and invites him to the wedding of him and Alex.

      It sounds like James met some kids who were entitled and then started emulating them. And with a good family it is easy to have that entitlement. Because in his mind he deserves everything from coming from good stock and college can amplify that nature in people. Joining a bunch of d-bags can make you think it is right. Probably with these people is they have no sense of karma, everything comes back to get you

  • @paulman34340
    @paulman34340 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    OP has to remember, that sometimes scumbags can be made despite their parents being the exact opposite and raising them as such Likely James felt the temptation with Jane and took it, and then when he thought he was getting away with it with abusing confidentiality by threatening OP with outing him to save himself from being exposed, those moments he started being a bully were him starting to get off on being in a superior position! He did bad things and got rewarded for it. So like all evil hearted folk like himself, he got worse and worse till it finally blew up in his face with the help of Alex. Also with his dad it showed that if OP had went to the man, he likely would have helped him anyway. Meaning the bullying never had to happen.
    Of course the college thing showed James never learned and was too high from what he put OP through, so with the encouragement of his now "loser friends" (I found it funny how people like James are willing to throw away good buds like OP for vile people, but I guess it comes down to them mistaking them for cool and wanting to be like them so badly that they become equally if not more so vile, and just to make clear, vile assholes like his new friends hang around each other not because they view each other as "The only cool folk around"...maybe a little, but because they know others can't stand them. Never assume they have any loyalty to each other, James likely owes them for letting him stay with them compared to actual friends who'd let him stay early on to help him!) he doubled down and became a terror.....till the inevitable happened, OP may have hasten it, but sooner or later someone would expose him and he'd have met the same fate. Looking at things, James best learn now that he's systematically burned bridges with good folk and his parents and now has a rotten reputation that will haunt him later and is struggling. If he doesn't then well, the next fall will be unrecoverable. Nothing will say Karma then OP and Alex going out together to run into a homeless drunk, and maybe realize or maybe not under all that is James! He fell to unrecoverable for himself ruin when after everything and trying college AGAIN. He fucked up again like before I this time he couldn't recover. Or he got to big for his breeches in his fast food job and crossed a line. Where he is now is his LAST CHANCE. But OP and Alex should be happy, hope for the best (I'm straight, but I have no problem with people making no problems with me! So what if someone is homosexual....how the hell is that affecting others? Homosexuality is a choice not a disease! GOOD FUCKING GOD we've past that point and it's long debunked though it never should have had to be debunked to begin with because it was never a disease to begin with. Yet still ignorance rains! People keep thinking if they kill the idea by making it taboo, it will kill the concept....yet many of the greatest voices against homosexuality got themselves outed as closet gay eventually. So that's even further proof that it's a choice.....just as being an irredeemable asshole is a choice as well thanks for being the model for that JAMES!)

    • @brag0001
      @brag0001 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not a choice. If it was, society would have the right to actually outlaw it. It not being a disease doesn't mean that it's a choice. It's as much a choice as being natural blonde is ...

    One thing I've learned over the years: Do NOT mess with gay people, drag queens and other LGBT+ folks.
    They face so much harassment over the time that they inevitably reach the "No fucks given" stage around 25 the latest.
    You sign yourself up for a crapton of trouble if you cross them wrongly. The kind of trouble which gets you in jail easily.
    Btw. that's part of why I love it so much. They seriously get creative and can easily hold a grudge.
    And if one of them is nice enough to let it slide....their friends are NOT. :)

    • @LilChuunosuke
      @LilChuunosuke 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yup yup yup. The only reasons my wardrobe isn't fully, openly queer is because it's expensive to replace all your clothes at once and I do prefer comfort over style. I'm lucky to live in a very progressive area, but that doesn't change the fact that my entire extended family (with the exception of 2 or 3 cousins) is extremely homophobic. Lots of people are uneducated or have internalized homophobia and don't see the issue with second guessing my sexuality or intentionally using the wrong label directly to my face.
      I also had the added benefit of working in food service for almost 5 years. Even though I was one of their best workers, people don't respect food service workers.
      I LOVE to make homophobes and predatory men mad when they're being assholes.
      Oh boo hoo, did the little gay girl hurt your widdol feelings? Go cry about it to someone who cares. :)

    • @Tantejay
      @Tantejay 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@LilChuunosuke Let's face it: Who cares? Honophobia is such a stupid concept, as well as transphobia and all other "phobias" who are just a blanket expression for "I'm sticking my nose where it doesn't belong and judge you for it".
      It is absolutely NONE of my business who is living and sharing a bedroom - and if we are at it: how many and what they are doing there as long as it it consensual.
      If it's not and I'm getting asked for help I'll make it my business. But until then? Nope.
      The world could be so much easier if people could just stop being idiots.
      Sigh. Good luck, my dear. And you might get to the point realizing that cutting out toxicity is the easier way.
      Sometimes the family we chose is the one supportive. And sometimes the "blood family" is indeed written in blood.

    The last story: As someone who has to clean the bathrooms at a trashy fast food place... It was definitely more than enough. But can we talk about how awful that homeless guy is? Just trashing bathrooms because he feels like it? Newsflash! You're not hurting any bigwig that screwed you over, you're just screwing over some minimum wage worker who already hates their life with your biohazard.

    I worked in a call centre for about two years and I kid you not we used to get emails through reminding us that it is inappropriate to wipe shite down the walls in the women's toilets and for whoever was doing it to come forward or face disciplinary action. To this day I still have no idea who was doing that or who would have the time because if you spent more than a few minutes after the call wrapping up someone would ask you if you were alright and if you went onto personal time for more than ten minutes then you would be asked the same thing, and breaks were only ten minutes long so no one dared to ever use the toilets during that time because half your break would be gone by the time you got back.

    Not revenge, but saw some huge entitlement today. We had some snow fall over the weekend (not much - half an inch at most). I went out today for lunch, and in the oncoming lane, there were two joggers, taking up the entire lane and blocking traffic, because their was snow on the sidewalk. 🙄

    I love story 1, I was a bouncer in my 20s (I'm 42 now) and didn't really care where I worked on any given night as long as they paid (a lot of clubs/promoters tried to get over on you any chance they got) and would get calls from gay clubs/bars who often had some trouble getting security staff due to homophobia (they paid and WELL so I didn't care, they knew I was straight and joked with me about it but was MUCH more respectful than most other clubs/bars), even worked a few fetish and drag nights. I've seen some DQs that would make Hugh Hefner need a double check.

I hope I understood how harmful his words could be and what trouble lying got him into. Yes, I know this man is a canyon of s**t, but I still want him to realize what he was doing. And if he doesn't... well one less homophobe won't end the world, right?

    Story 1: OP could have just told his parents the James was saying OP was gay because OP caught James fucking Jane and James wanted to get OP in trouble with his parents.
    The fact that James' dad fired his own son is pretty awesome...but Alex sounds like a truly epic person...congrats to OP for finding a terrific boyfriend & the Pro Revenge!
    Story 2: The moment he made the threat of withholding pay for the work...I would have walked out after telling him the authorities (and his uncle/boss) would be informed.
    When he said that he committed a crime called "theft of services" and is actionable as both a civil & a criminal matter...the company can be accountable as he is its representative.
    If both OP & Joe had left at the same time...the supervisor would have had to close the place since there was no one to work any of the jobs. Uncle/Boss would be PISSED at him!

    Alex sounds a lot like my son, can pass as which ever gender he wants to that day. And he is a mischievous kid, not malicious, hes just very aware that he looks like which ever he is dressed as. And he does get a bit of pleasure playing harmless pranks on people. Like, wait, wheres Alex and who's this new girl in the class? Kind of pranks.
    Ill admit I may encourage him a bit more then I should, as do his sisters, but its harmless fun and he isn't trying to actually trick people into relationships and stuff.

    Why didn't that guy just block James & worry about his own life instead of wasting time & money to get revenge? The best revenge is to just live your life and be as happy as possible WITHOUT the a-hole in it at all. Going out of your way to be as low as some jerk isn't the way to go about things. It's just childish & accomplishes nothing worthwhile. You just become as crappy of a person as them. I'm guessing these people are all still pretty young. Lol
