I've heard more than that. It's just that it's easy and common for the golden child to get spoiled rotten and/or to learn to take advantage of it at the detriment of others. The real rule about favoritism in parenting, is that it screws up both children, just in different ways.
All golden children have bad parents but that doesn’t necessarily make them all bad kids any more than the silver, copper or lead ones. I’ve come across a few stories where the golden children can be anything friendly or even helpful. One guy used his golden child status to get stuff that he didn’t even want because he knew OP wanted it and would immediately hand whatever it was over to OP claiming he “decided he didn’t want it anymore” 😉
Nah the aunt should be also be made to pay OP 50k and pay for his lawyer for spreading life ruining accusations. Also a dna should be mandatory unless there already was a test done

It's not the child's fault if the parents decided he/she is golden. In fact they are just as damaged as the black sheep child.

Throwing up roadblocks to a DNA test should be an automatic red flag for the legal system.
