Can’t believe it was looking for all things TDM (as had one 20 years ago) so thought I would buy one again as a second bike… Looks like I bought yours. Still looks the same as in your vid !!!!
@@johnspitfire3421 Hi bought it about 2 months ago. Just replaced the back tyre added a usb outlet and battery trickle charger , also just got Yamaha cert of conformity for it and it is now ULEZ exempt. Very pleased with your service history records.
I using them on my TDM 900 , done around 8000kms on the front , and around 2000kms on the rear . Have done heaps of twisty roads , dirt roads , rain , snow ⛄️ and they are a fantastic tyre that seems to have the durability to last , I only ever used to get MAX 5000kms out of a road 5 or Metzler Roadtec 01 ( probably that little bit better traction but didn’t last ) plus both of them VERY expensive tyres . The Roadsmarts are cheaper , last longer , wear better and almost as good in traction. And they grip great in the wet as well .
I am using Metzler Z8 Interact, really a good tires, a modern technology hard in the centre and soft in the two parts of the side. I have made 10 thousand km, and they are good for other 2 ore perhaps more thousand. Really satisfied
The last comment was mine I have now put a Suzuki V-Strom 650 front end on the TDM 900 , forks , wheel, discs , brakes - still using TDM master cylinder and put on braided lines ( now I have a 19 inch front wheel for better tyre choice)
Soon as I change tyres the lattest newest set is always the same, wow! Wise man playing with tyre pressures as most will only stick to the manual or sticker.
Hi, there are many tyre for this bike.. but i have doubt with michelin pilot road 5, pirelli angel GT and bridgestone battlax t31. In any case, for me, this are the best choice.

Nice tyres. I run with Avon and have 32 psi front and 34 rear find them ok
Can i ask what screen and deflector set you use?
Hi. It’s a standard touring screen with a screen extension from eBay. Not sure of the make.
I found they go off quicker and wet weather is butt clenching.
Michelin Road 6 are my new tyre of choice now. Had them on a couple of bikes and can’t fault them.
It's called "the chicken strip"...
