I got to know that you had an accident. I was really sad at that moment how much god can test someone. But you made comeback after the setback!!! Respect from India. The whole world is proud of you!! Keep Flying!!! God Bless you, mam!!!

Hired this young smiling 15 year old girl for my created team because in that game there is a stat named 'Marketability' and it was full 100% so it helped the team with sponsors a lot but won some races too, got promoted from F3 to F2 and eventually F1. Hey, don't be discouraged, while consistency is easier with high-end hardware you can be JUST as fast. I've seen it proven multiple times. I got all the way up to class A oval and B road with G920 before upgrading to my dd2 direct drive and full cockpit. A little tip, you can get an adapter for that wheel and put on larger size rims. I had a 350mm for nascar, and a 320 mm for gt3./skippy/ formula etc. There is also a 100 dollar load cell brake upgrade for it (true brake i think)

Roman "der8auer" Hartung from Case King just happens to be one of the best over clockers and PC Builders in the world. He's also an automotive enthusiast too so it's cool that Caseking were the guys that built Sophia's PC. It'd also be awesome to see Sophia on Twitch. It's a lot to ask but it'd be great exposure to the non-typical motor sport crowd. One of her team mates from the virtual 24 hours of Le Mans (Emily Jones) just happens to be a streamer.

That's an extremely nice case build for sure. And it will just keep going on low temps no matter how long the race goes for.
This has to be the nicest "dedicated to one person" rig setup I've seen; there were so many great details. You wouldn't have much luck as a different sized person, but what's lost in that flexibility is gained in everything being rock solid and optimised for the owner.

Such a Simulation is a cool thing. Remember on a event about 16 Years ago which there were a Pit Stop Challange (8 to 10 People in a Group) with 4 for the Tires and 3 for the Fuel Station. If you not trained in that esp. with th 12 to 15 Liters Fuel per Second (and that was simulatied with an Airpressure) you get the Feeling the Members have, esp. if you the one which have to refill.
And that was on an Real not used F1-Car from 2 Years before (if I remember correctly). But the best thing was the Simulator-Driving in such a real Monoquoce with all the Feelings a Race-Driver have. Only sitting in it as a not trained Normal get your heart pumping. And then you have to set 3 fast laps with everything such a car is doing.
Breaking out, light stearing on the Straights, get the perfect breaking Point and much more. The Simulation was the best Game on that Time and one of my favorites incl. today (Grand Prix 3 with the Add-On and not the next Step Grand Prix 4).
Yeah, that was great. The Document I never will throw away, it was an Event where you could win 2 Tickets for the Formula 1 at that time if you win. Sadly I was only 3rd at the End.
It´s good to see that the Drivers train with an Simulator and the new Secure-Things which get implemented to get better and better on the Tracks they have to drive in Real later on. Esp. the E-Sports-Events this year were great and I see some of them.
Yep, Twitch is a very cool Platform too for such, esp. for simulated Trainings, Races and such, because there are many Live-Streams. Atm. there are many Livestreams from Multi-Player-Games like GTA, Hearts of Iron and such, but an E-Sports-Racing live on Twitch were something new.
On the other Hand she has much real work to do to get her Cockpit, TV-Interviews, real Races (which I saw most of her in Formula 4 [GT-Masters] and in Formula 3 [DTM]). Her first Podium in Formula 4 on the Racetrack and the last Race in Formula 3 in DTM where Mick get the Winner in Formula 3 I saw Live.
Since then it was very hard to see the Races in TV or in the Livestream, esp. the italian from last Year and the international she is driving now. Either you can´t understand the Language or you can´t watch it.
And I thank God that Sophia can work on her dream without issues again. Hope to see her soon in international Formula 3 again after the 2 or 3 Races she get missed there about the parellel Sporting-Car Event she wanna doing.
Remembers me on an other Driver from the 80´s which were exactly 20 Years older then me which was Driving Formula-1 (Tyrell) and Porsche-Sporting-Car-Event: Stefan Belloff
No one tried that balancinc act after him again after his tragic occurance for a long time.
    Deutsch:
Damals konnte man 2 Formel 1 Tickets gewinnen.

Great SIM Chassis/Rig setup which you have there..!!! 😉👍 I'm curious to know what seat you've decided to use for your setup and if you're willing to state which chassis design you have..??? 🤔😳😯 Thanks so very much for sharing your details..!!! 👌💯😎🏁

I'm so glad you're doing so well after that insane crash. It's almost like a distant memory at this point.
Sim racing is what got me into real racing so I hope you enjoy it. It definitely helps a lot. Nick heidfeld even said he learned the nordschliefe from playing gran turismo before he did his lap there in an f1 car
My setup is more modest for sure. Aging PC, ps4 pro, and thrustmaster t300. It's so much fun tho

RaceRoom Racing Experience is where it's at. ;-) It has all formulas and many DTM eras. Really enjoy driving F4's and F3's on all the tracks around the world.

why is it out of reach for the average person? I'm an average person and also have a rig like this (but without motion yet, it's work in progress atm)

Its totally doable.. End of the year i will upgrade my Rig to even better Hardware :D. But without that fanatec hyped stuff. Heusinkveld and Simucube all the way. Motion will be added Summer next year.

@@Tintop Yeah well. Fanatec is nice, dont get me wrong, but because its the most "known" brand for newcomers it always feels like its hyped. There are many driver related issues with the DD1 and DD2 base what i hear from friends. Fanatec fixes that as quickas they can, but never heard of a simucube user that their base dc´ed in mid race.

Would love to hear your impressions of the Brazilian F3 (2011 and 2019 versions) in AMS 2. It is well worth the small cost and minutes to configure as the driving feel and model is on par with rF2 or iRacing. There are a bunch of prototypes to enjoy as well.

  • @timotheelambry3201

Hi, the advantage of PC is that you can use mods (adds-ons) for your games. So for example, in your case, you can find any track you want on AC (or RFactor 2) just by typing its name on google + the name of the sim (Assetto Corsa, RFactor 2, etc.) and you'll probably find it :) For example I found the Hungaroring and Bahrain and many other tracks for Assetto Corsa that aren't in the main game or the DLCs. I don't know if they are laser-scanned and therefore realistic enough for real drivers but personnally I found all the track mods way more realistic in AC than in Codemaster's F1 games :). Enjoy and have a nice day !

Thanks for a great overview. Given that your real race cars steering wheel has a lot of buttons itself is it confusing to practice on a different one?
