The Swing Arm: is it same size as original, because upgraded swingarms are normally purchased to make it like 5cm longer and more stable.

I definitely concur that some products are still lacking some details (writing a good one takes a decent chunk of time). Since your comment, I've completed some of them (swingarm notably).
All the parts we sell are subject to a 2-year warranty. It's mentioned in the Help Center, but you're definitely right, we should also specify it on the product pages.
Regarding the batteries, we don't mention the exact models because we strive to constantly improve our builds. Nevertheless, we always work with A-grade Samsung cells. We currently use 40T, 50E, 50G, 50S and 35E (depending on the pack characteristics).
There's indeed a plan to release bigger batteries. We're currently working on an aesthetic solution for the battery hatch as taller batteries don't allow to keep the stock one.
Swingarm is slightly longer and allows you to play on the wheelbase depending on the wheel position. Nevertheless, it's not as long as some of the others because we really wanted to preserve the nimble nature of the Sur Ron. I personally think after extensive riding that we found the sweet spot 🤘

What size sprocket do you guys like best with your increased power bikes? Do you find yourself changing sprockets or do you usually only ride one size? You guys are the best I value your opinions, you ride hard!
Thank you bro! With the 18" wheels, Cyprien uses a 58T whereas I (Quentin) use a 54T. That's because I'm 50kg only so torque isn't an issue haha. We usually don't change sprockets. For the MX Track, I usually revert back to the 19" wheels and keep the 54T as it gives extra pop with the smaller wheels.
50kg? Is this a misprint? Also can you get 16” rear? I’m short and light so I need a smaller setup.
@@marrzie467 not mate it's not, I'm not tall at all and rather thin so, 50kg (not with the gears obviously though).
My favourite setup still is 21/18 for enduro, but 18 * 1.85 with a thinner 3.00 tyre so it's light!

Hey mate! Great question. Actually putting more power usually means sending more current to the motor for an increased torque (faster acceleration, feeling of going uphill easier).
As long as it's done properly it will just induce heat a bit faster in the motor. What could damage the motor is if the temperature isn't monitored and goes awry. But all quality and properly configured controller will reduce power and cut off altogether if temperature goes too high.
Now even with huge power, unless it's ridden on the highway with pinned throttle, you usually have downhill sections, turns etc where the motor isn't solicited at its full power (same goes actually for petrol engines: if you drive your 500HP Lambo at maximum RPM constantly, it will burst).
In the end, I have been running this setup for almost 2 years and even though I ride a lot, the motor is good as new 👍
The stock motor should be ok up to 12kw or so. Beyond that, you should watch the temp.

The only thing a had doubt abiu was the power of surron, but when I watch your videos it rips decently. The reason for selling my moto is that it is illegal over here to ride in the woods...and for me woods are the most enjoyable environment. I hope I could ride "in a stealth mode" with such surron. And anyways, when they see an electric bike, it is more acceptable then a classic reving 2stroke. Cheers

On travaille sur une meilleure config, j'ai une pile de pneus à tester. Pour le moment on a mis des CST (l'arrière c'est un C-755 en 3.5).
What do you think of adding a chain guide on your reinforced swing arm, like on big enduro bikes? I guess that would reduce the chance of the chain going off of the sprocket
If you get the chain tension right I don’t think it’s necessary. Enduro bikes don’t have the drive sprocket at the suspension pivot point so you have to keep the chain loose to compensate for the elongation of the distance, where as with the Sur-Ron Jackshaft being around the pivot point, it doesn’t lengthen/shorten through the travel. No need for the tensioner. Just make sure you can’t push the chain off by hand as you turn the rear wheel by hand and you’re all good!
@@GrannygearKiller yep, if properly tensioned and with a sprocket in good shape, it shouldn't derail.
we thought about a chain guide and are actually working on it. But it won't completely prevent from derailing in case of mis-tensioned or damaged sprocket.
I’ll add this to the idea why you may want one. I get sticks caught in my rear sprocket frequently causing bent axles and swing arm bolts. If you had a chain guard this would prevent things from getting in the chain and sprocket.
What sprocket size are you using? On enduro bikes this is really needed as chain tension isn't constant on all the Swingarm's shock travel, whereas on the Surron, as it moves along the chain axis, it's always equally tensioned.

Salut Nicolas,
La courroie renforcée offre une meilleure résistance à l'usure (tolère un couple plus fort, meilleure résistance à l'abrasion) mais elle cassera de la même manière dans des conditions boueuses ou sablonneuse (si un gravillon passe dans la poulie c'est terminé) car elles ne sont pas élastiques (sinon le rendement serait déplorable).
Nous n'avons pas testé la 19/16. À quelques mm près, le 16,18 et 19" font la même hauteur avec le pneu installé. Plus la jante est petite, plus il y a de caoutchouc et plus c'est lourd (contre toute attente).
La grosse roue arrière offre plus de grip et un meilleur amorti sur les terrains rocailleux. Cependant, ce second avantage est faible avec une roue avant de 19" car la roue avant devient la facteur limitant (risque de pincement, et bras fortement secoués).
La roue avant en 21" améliore la capacité de franchissement ET offre aussi l'avantage d'être moins sensible aux pierres, racines etc à haute vitesse. S'il n'y a qu'une roue à changer, je conseille de ne changer que celle-ci (pour une utilisation enduro, en circuit c'est encore une autre approche).
And, why didn't you mention about engine?
In terms of power, it's quite important.
Many people change engines for KO or something else (IPM motors), to have more power with less temperature and much less chance to melt the engine. Don't you have any problems with that?
At this point, the KO is overkill (their controller aren't good IMHO) and the stock motor if properly driven can lead you very far already. Have you seen our 80V video? Stock motor on the road, highway speed and absolutely no problem for the motor.
But yeah, there's always a way to make it better!

Salut Vianney. Le contrôleur d'origine peut fonctionner avec la Ultra Range, car elle est en 60V. En revanche, pour pouvoir en tirer plus de puissance, il faut un contrôleur paramétrable.

What controller and battery are you running on the blue bike.

Hey Guys. I can't seem to find a bash plate / motor guard on your store. Do you plan to sell those? Do you recommend any? I've been doing mostly enduro and hard enduro on my Sur Ron, and the bash plate is already noticeable bended. Cheers
Hey mate! Yes, absolutely. It's on the way. I think by the end of next week we'll have it.
I have once thrashed a motor because of a pseudo reinforced plate, so rest assured we'll be coming with something sturdy ;)

Is there any advantage to either the 27.5 or 29 fox 40?
27.5 preserves the original geometry whereas the 29" really rises the front. So if you get a 29 plus install a 21", you're almost on a chopper 🤣
Bonjour les gars, pour l'instant je suis toujours un vétetiste, je roule en enduro avec un Lapierre GLP2 (vae) et en DH avec un Gambler 29, et je serais bien intéressé par un de ces jouets, pour de la balade enduro en Corse, le seul souci étant que je fais 1m92 et 85kg... Est-ce que ça n'est pas un peu trop pour un surron ? Ou bien est-ce que je devrais me tourner vers un autre engin d'un gabarit plus grand?
Salut Étienne. Tout d'abord, on peut être (et beaucoup le sont) à la fois vététiste et e-biker ;)
En plus, connaissant un peu la Corse, tu as un terrain de jeux monstrueux.
Mon frère fait le même poids que toi et ce n'est pas problématique. Niveau taille, Cyprien fait 1m85. Mais tu ne serais pas le seul de plus de 1m90 à rouler en Surron. Moyennant quelques adaptations (potence, guidon avec du rise…) tu peux tout à fait adapter la moto.
L'autre option qui peut être pas mal serait de prendre une Talaria qui est un peu plus haute de base (on est en train de bosser sur toutes les upgrades Talaria aussi). N'hésite pas à demander sur le Groupe Surron/Talaria France!
Pour l’enduro vous conseillez plutôt la Talaria ou la LB ? J’ai un petit gabarit et je roule actuellement en bêta 300 xtrainer.
Mes potes me déconseillent pour le moment d’acheter ce type de bécane par manque d’autonomie et pensent que je ne pourrais pas les suivre sur une journée de 4/5h. Ils ont raison ? ( d’origine je sais que non mais avec + grosse batterie et contrôleur ? )

Pour un petit gabarit, je te conseille plutôt une LB ! Une fois upgrade tu les suivras partout ! Maintenant, en ce qui concerne l'autonomie, si c'est 4/5h de roulant non-stop, ça va être compliqué. Si c'est 5h de technique, y'a pas de problème 😉 Vous faites combien de bornes en général ?

@@albanvd7510 80V 45Ah sans hésiter, la tension élevée te permettra d'être efficient à vive allure et tu pourras toujours faire un petit stop recharge de 30min, sur une grosse journée de ride ça se fait bien !

Salut salut ! Pen fait la même taille, si tu es sur la potence d'origine, je te conseille de prendre un 60, c'est plus confortable, surtout quand tu te tiens debout sur la moto 🤘

95% des vidéos surron sont en anglais. Des francais développent le truc, font des produits, un site, une chaine youtube etc... et vous parlez en anglais ! serieux quelle tristesse, y en avait pas assez des vidéos en anglais sur le web ? vraiment dommage.
Quelle tristesse c'est un peu exagéré… On prend la peine de toujours faire les sous-titres en français. Donc pourquoi l'anglais et pas le français ou l'espagnol ? On a énormément de clients et de gens qui nous suivent à l'étranger et la langue d'échange internationale c'est l'anglais, que la plupart de nos clients comprennent même si c'est pas leur langue maternelle.
Vos clients font comme les français qui regardent les 95% de youtube qui sont en anglais ils lisent les sous titre dans leur langue. C est dommage pour une fois que des français font des trucs qui claquent nous devons encore nous coltiner de l anglais et traduire des mecs qui en plus sont francais, le comble lol

What's wasting mate? Buying 100$ shoes when you can get some for 10$, going to the restaurant when you can cook at home, getting a 10k MTB when you can definitely ride with a 400$ from the supermarket. Money is well invested as long as you get pleasure from your investment.
