Omg!!!! this is a find of a lifetime!!! All incredible coins but for me the flowing hair is one of the rarest coins to ever find, many people will never find one in their life time and he has one in the most incredible shape I've ever seen. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!
Nice find! Reminds me of the guy who found a can of hand wash cream while he was detecting. Inside the can was a cache of gold and silver coins. Can not for the life of me find that video...
The Mass Copper is insane ... and the condition could easily make that a $1400 coin by itself. Tip of the hat to the guy who put this together ........ shame he lost it to time! Like is a moral must do ...... subscribe out of sheer respect!! Three cent nickel is a real rarity ....... and the Columbian Half Dollar is the first US Commerative!! It would take a full day to go through all that and get an idea on value. Excellent dig, and thanks for showing us what could still be out there!!
Yeah, I found a Columbian Exposition 1892 half up in New England somewhere a few years ago. I was happy to find itin excellent shape (VF to XF). Very nice
The Massachusetts coin ended up being a fake? That's nuts. I can't wait for winter to be over. I live right by one of the first schools in Suffolk county Long Island. Dying to dig it.
+RoBeRoB1189 yep he got it checked out and it was determined to be a fake. The rest of the coins are still amazing but arnt worth much.Good luck hunting that river in the spring!!
Sick metal detecting wow thanks for the response. Wow that is so crazy. I guess people since the beginning of time have been counterfeiting items. Because those coins look like they've been in the ground atleast 6 decades. I was really hoping that coin was worth something. I love all coins but those coins from the 1700s are amazing. I would love to have just even one of them. Thanks for the good luck. I'm going to need it. You can be locked up in Ny for metal detecting a historical site. And fined greatly for metal detecting anywhere without a permit. Historical sites are completely off limits. So I'm going in the dark; early morning. I just got a ground efx mx 400 and it has a spot light built in with a color touch screen. I hope I made the right choice in buying that kind. Everyone says get a pro or gold or a minelab and minelabs are super expensive and the colored touch screen and all the luxuries that come on the mx400 drew interest to me. Good luck!
Hello I did some quick research that 1787 copper you show there if the arrows are in the eagles right talon high buck find only seven are known to exist 22-45k in book. Good job.
Jon DAVID Bill uses an old whites I forget what the exact modeil is. I use a minelab etrac and I have had really great results with it. Thanks for dropping in and commenting Gl and hh!!
+Billy Lewis Thanks for watching, I hope I was able to capture the collection on video ok but I was just in shock seeing it being laid out in front of me!!
Amazing find .. That is truly hitting the jackpot !! That would've been an awesome video if he filmed it . A find like that is definitely everyone's dream !
+hiluxyota yeh ,he likes when we're detecting and I film stuff but as far as him doing it probably won't happen lol!! He definitely found the greatest thing that I've ever seen it is amazing, the condition of some of those coins !! Thanks for watching gl and hh.
Nice Find! Looks like someone stole a coin collection, and buried it behind the park. The Mass State copper is pretty rare, and in that shape is worth a few bucks! Congrats to your friend!
+Detecting207 That's probably what happened , the dates of the coins vary so much, someone probably burried it and couldn't find it again, gues they didn't have a detector then lol!! Thanks for watching.
as the man said this is a once in a lifetime find. usually it is beer tabs and modern clad coins and detecting is easy the digging is hard work. but it is adicting once you start finding things other than trash. as far as advice what detector to buy 2 schools of thought you can buy a high dollar detector and lose interest and have a high dollar closet queen or you can go cheap like i did and see if you like it if not the investment is minimal. if you like it you can always upgrade to a more expensive detector later. it has taken me less than a year to find enough modern clads to payback my original costs.
What's the value on them-how'd you find? You dug them up in park-and they were in a sealed mason jar?? They are in incredible condition and didn't real hear how you found them -very interested please get back to me-motivates me to go out tomorrow hands guys
+vern schock I can't take credit for finding them, that was all my friend Bill.He was detecting some woods behind an old park he got a weird signal so he decided to dig and the rest is history lol!! It pays to dig odd signals it's not always going to be good but sometimes you get lucky. As far as value its probably not with a lot but who cares, we don't do it for monitary gain we just love the hobby and saving a little history
This find is incredible....thanks for sharing! Just discovered metal detecting and am always looking for videos on TH-cam. This is one of those “once in a lifetime” kind of experiences. Sitting on my stairs in garage and just blown away! Great way to wake up! Thank you for sharing this.

Just plain wrong. The £1 coin is used by and thought out the UK. The HM Queen Elizabeth is Queen of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and many other countries.
You guys need to do your research. You were not calling out some of those coins correctly. When you find out what they really are you will see you have some worth a lot of money. Do your research on these coins.
That is what a metal detector dreams of >Awesome! The coins are in great shape and a very nice variety. The Worlds Columbian Esposition coin is the very first US commemorative coin (1892-1893). Enjoyed! qkdraw

Guys, I appreciate your not using profane language in your video. I get so discussed and tired of these videos using disgusted language in every other word. Stops me from showing these videos to my great grandchildren and wife. So, again, many thanks. Ole Johnny B.
I'm not calling you out, but your wife is a adult. Profanity is a way to express a exicting feeling, it's all "disgusted" not discussed. It makes sense why he would swear in this situation he just found like 100 Grand. Again, I'm not sure I if you meant that in a sexist way, just letting you know just in case..woman don't have to be clean and not dirty mouthed, they can be however they please. Your wife can listen to profanity. If you don't believe that then you're either sexist or uneducated. *NO DISRESPECT WAS MEANT TO COME OUT OF THIS, THIS IS ONLY TO EDUCATE*

You guys need to do your research. You were not calling out some of those coins correctly. When you find out what they really are you will see you have some worth a lot of money. Do your research on these coins.

Fantastic find. I Would be happy with just 1 of those coins.
that Massachusetts copper could be worth $10,000 or so if it's in only G condition because the arrows are in the right talon
I have one myself graded fine condition. There are fakes out there, but being dug I am sure it is genuine. Extremely rare.
Chris Farley yeah they are a very rare type of coin is yours the rare variety or the other type either way a very nice coin
Yes, mine is the transposed arrows version. It was graded genuine back in 1982.
Chris Farley that's crazy how'd you aquire it
That coin is worth $15,000 to the right person because the arrows are in the right talon.
Not a flowinghair cent
